The Love After Agreement

The Love After Agreement
Chapter 66

A middle-aged woman was staring blankly at the child, almost two weeks after the accident, but her son was unconscious.

"Grys, when are you gonna wake up, son? It's been too long, baby. Get up," muttered Madam Mona as she continued to wipe the child's arm.

"Tante, patience, yes. Hopefully Gryson will recover quickly" said a young woman who accompanied Mrs Mona. The young woman is Rachel, the girl Gryson is about to marry.

"But it's been almost two weeks, Hel. Gryson has not yet woken up from his coma" replied Mrs Mona, however she wants her son to wake up soon and get back to health.

All this because of the girl si*lan Gryson protected! If only I had not agreed to their marriage, Rachel would now be my daughter-in-law and they would have lived happily, the inner Lady Mona who still blamed Filia, she said, even though he was aware that all of these events were his.

"Patience, Aunt. I'm sure Gryson will wake up soon, after all, the doctor has said that he has passed his critical period and he can wake up at any time" said Rachel, who again calmed Mrs Mona.

Rachel is forced to follow Lady Mona to Country J, after the mother of her ex-lover cries and begs her to keep Gryson.

A few days ago Gryson was declared successful past his critical period, but since then Gryson has not opened his eyes.

Madame Mona got up from her seat, all day she did not stay away from the bed Gryson was in. He left his job to Alvin, secretary of Gryson's trust.

"Tante, where are you going?" rachel asked when she saw Madam Mona was about to leave the room, she also brought her bag.

"I want to go out for a while, it's possible that the wind outside can help to clear my mind again" replied Madame Mona before she exited Gryson's ward, he did not even look at her face when Rachel asked.

Wait, what does he mean he told me to stay here? While he's out and taking a walk? rachel asked in her heart.

"Akh, si*al! Why am I the one who has to wait for the patient? It's not fair, he's just my ex. And, after all, I had no intention of returning to her," Rachel muttered as she folded her arms around her chest and stared sinisterly at Gryson.

"Tante Mona is outrageous! He only thinks about himself. I should be the one coming out right now, not him!" Rachel continues to grumble as Madame Mona is out of Gryson's ward. The woman did not realize that the man she was waiting for was conscious, only that he was not fully aware. Without a second thought, Rachel caught Madame Mona out of the room. He just left Gryson.

Shortly thereafter, the doctor who used to walk around came to review the current condition of his patients and found Gryson had opened his eyes. However, he did not see the patient's family.

"Sir, are you conscious?" ask the woman's doctor.

"A .. water." Gryson asked for water because his throat felt very dry.

The doctor immediately gave Gryson a drink, he also helped him with a slight hold of Gryson's fist.

Where's family? Why was he left alone? the doctor wondered in his heart. After Gryson drank, the doctor again confirmed the position of the patient.

Gryson stared intently at the doctor, as he looked around his unfamiliar room. "Where is my Sa–?"

"You're in the hospital, sir. How are you feeling at the moment? Are there any complaints?" ask the doctor.

Gryson did not directly answer the question posed by the female doctor before him, only a puzzled look he showed.

"Sir, are you okay?" ask the doctor again after waiting a while. However, Gryson did not answer his question either.

The doctor nodded his head as if he understood what his patient was complaining about. "All right, I understand. Sorry, let me check again."

After getting a nod from Gryson, the doctor went back to check on him. When he finished, he finally found out if his patient had mild amnesia.

"Alright, you better get back to rest. I'll convey Mr.'s condition to your family." The doctor returned to clean the stethoscope and the small flashlight he carried.

"family? Is my family here?" asked Gryson who looked confused.

"There certainly is, sir. It's just that maybe they're out now." The doctor smiled again before leaving the patient alone.

If I have a family, why haven't I seen them since? Just heard someone grumbling, Gryson looked up at the white ceiling above him.

Long enough the man remained silent in the room alone, until finally someone opened the door of his room suddenly.

"Grys?! Thank goodness you've regained consciousness, Mama is very happy," said Mrs Mona, hugging her child tightly.

"Mama?" gryson asked confusedly.

Madam Mona looked at the child's astonishment, she did not yet know Gryson's true condition. While outside, the hospital only told him that Gryson was awake and alone in his room.

Where's Rachel? Why didn't he accompany Gryson? ask Madame Mona in her heart.

"This is Mama, Grys. Don't you remember Mama?" asked Madame Mona while looking sadly at the child.

Gryson shook his head slowly, he remembered nothing at all about his family, nor about himself.

This is good news for me, thankfully Gryson can forget about Filia and make her reunite with Rachel later, Inner Lady Mona with pleasure. So, I don't have to be hard-pressed to figure out how to separate them again.

"It's okay. You will soon remember" said Mrs Mona, calming Gryson, while peeping at the child's forehead.

After the hug came off, the door of the room opened again. This time a beautiful woman entered there, Gryson was unable to take his eyes off the woman who had just entered the room.

Meanwhile, Rachel herself was staring at Madam Mona looking at her. Si*l, why is Aunt Mona here? ask in the heart.

"Ma, who is he?" gryson asked as he continued to stare at Rachel who was still standing in the doorway.

Rachel looked at Gryson with a look of disbelief, she did not know if the man had mild amnesia.

"Aante?!" Rachel tried to ask Madame Mona through a gaze, but the middle-aged woman did not heed the question Rachel asked through her eyes she immediately turned her gaze in the other direction.

"He ... he ...." Madame Mona looked agitated before answering the child's question. He himself was confused to answer what, after a moment of silence, he finally chose to say, "He is your fiancee."
