The Love After Agreement

Chapter 5

Gryson stared at the piece of paper that Philia had put on him, he still did not understand what it meant for Filia to write their marriage contract.

"Lia, what do you mean by a 40-day marriage agreement?" ask Gryson.

"Do you still not understand, sir? I'm really not ready to go through with this marriage. And so, I made this deal. After all, we get married because we have to, why should we live a married life if it is based on coercion?" asked Filia, trying to express her thoughts.

"Filia, you know, if marriage isn't for fun?"

Filia nodded her head.

"Of course, sir. I know that"

"Then, why would you make a 40-day marriage covenant like this?"

"I just don't want to get married on forced grounds, sir. I'm sure you're not interested in a kid like me either"

"Philia, it's not a matter of interest or not. But our intention is to have the marriage going forward"

"Master, do you still not understand as well? I'm not ready to take on the task as a wife, I still want to live my teenage life to the satisfaction"

"If that were your only reason, I wouldn't burden you with all your responsibilities as a wife. I will give you freedom, as long as you can take good care of yourself, how?"

Filia was silent for a moment to think about the offer Gryson had given her.

"Think about my offer well, I'll go to work now" said Gryson, rising from his seat and leaving Filia.

After Gryson's departure, Philia returned to her room. At this time she was very confused, Filia got a suspension from the campus because someone reported the incident that happened to her, saying if Filia had acted. So that he received punishment and was temporarily dismissed from his campus activities, within an unspecified period of time.

Filia sat pensively on the bed, staring at the piece of paper she had written last night in her 40-day marriage covenant.

"Now what should I do? I thought Mr. Gryson would sign this covenant willingly, but it could be very beneficial to him" Philia said.

After pondering for a long time, he began to come out of his room and try to do light work that he thought was easy.

In the office, Gryson did not focus on his work, and he still remembered the covenant letter that Philia had submitted to him.

"What did the girl really think? Why would he think of making a marriage agreement for only 40 days? I really don't understand" inner Gryson.

Gryson's assistant was a little surprised, he saw his master staring out the window with a thoughtful look.

"Sir, what are you thinking?" ask Gryson's assistant Alvin.

"Fin, you know I just got married?" asked Gryson who immediately got a nod of the head from Alvin.

"Yes, you're right. Then where's the problem?" tanya Alvin did not understand the question asked by his superiors.

"She was thinking of making a 40-day marriage contract. Don't you think that's a mind that g**a?" gryson asked, which surprised Alvin.

Alvin was silent for a moment.

"It seems like a natural thing, because your marriage was forced. And miss Filia was also still very unstable, so she thought about making the deal" replied Alvin giving his opinion.

Gryson thought Alvin was right what he said. Philia was just a little girl who was still unstable and had not thought about marriage, so to make her apart from this marriage was to make a marriage agreement for 40 days.

"All right, thanks for your opinion. You can go" said Gryson.

"Well, sir" replied Alvin as he stepped out of Gryson's room.

Gryson fell silent again after Alvin's departure, staring at the photo on his desk.

Filia was sitting on a bar table chair in the apartment, looking at the half-cluttered kitchen. He thought he could make one of the easy snacks he saw in a YouTube tutorial, but instead of succeeding in making the kitchen he cleaned with difficulty is now back in disarray.

"That's it. I surrendered. I admit that I can't make anything, even if it's just pancakes I can't make it. Akh, s***" muttered Filia to herself.

With a heavy heart, he forced himself to return to tidy up the kitchen owned by Gryson, but, had not had time to clean the kitchen, Gryson had entered into his apartment.

He saw the state of his kitchen was already in a mess, a lot of flour splattered everywhere, even eggs were messy and split on the floor just like that. Gryson also saw someone in the kitchen picking up another egg shell.

"Oh my God, what just happened in my kitchen? Why so messy? Fractions of eggs everywhere, the smell of rancid enough to make me nauseous" Inner Gryson.

"Filia, what just happened?" gryson asked nicely even though in his heart he was upset half to death.

He who just came home from work felt very tired, and when he came home found his favorite kitchen was a mess.

Filia was surprised by the voice of Gryson who was standing behind her, she was not aware of the presence of her husband, because she was picking up the egg shell that she accidentally dropped earlier.

"Tu–tuan, a–anda su–suda home?" philia asked in a stammer, she was very afraid that Gryson would be angry with her.

"I asked, what just happened?"

"Ma–maaf sir, I accidentally did this all. I just wanted to try to make a snack, but I couldn't make it and failed"

"But what's this like?"

"I'm sorry, sir. I'll re-tidy your kitchen"

Gryson took a deep breath, impossible if he had to let out his anger in front of Philia.

"That's it. You clean yourself up, we'll have dinner outside. Later I'll call Split Cleaning service to clean it up"

"But tuan–"

"I've forgiven you this time"

"really? Thanks, sir"

"Hmmm"

After thanking her, Filia left the kitchen and stepped into her room, lucky this time Gryson would forgive her and even invite her to dinner outside.
