When the afternoon came, Gryson immediately finished his work. He knew Filia was waiting for him in the parking lot, his wife had sent him a message.
From a distance he saw that his wife was with one of his employees. With quick steps, Gryson approached the two of them, he heard that the employee was offering to drive Filia home.
"I'll take him home" Gryson said as he stood behind his wife.
Both Filia and Julian were quite surprised to hear Gryson's voice and immediately turned to him.
"Tu–tuan, it looks like you don't have to drive it home. It's better that I deliver it" Julian said firmly. He didn't know they were a couple.
Gryson stared at Julian, his jaw suddenly hardened at the words of his employee. Filia saw that her husband was upset, and she immediately rejected Julian's words to bring her home.
"Sorry, Brother. I'll go home with Mr. Gryson alone" Filia said.
"No, Lia. You don't go home with him, Mr. Chrys already has a wife" Julian whispered quietly, but Gryson could hear his remarks.
"Ehem." Gryson stops Julian whispering to his wife.
Hearing his master cleared his throat, Julian immediately distanced himself from Philia.
"She's my wife" Gryson said briefly, concisely and clearly.
At that instant, both Filia and Julian stared straight at him.
"A–what?" julian did not believe.
"Mas?!" Filia could not believe that her husband had revealed their status to Julian.
"Alright, baby. Gradually they must also know our status," answered Gryson without guilt, even her husband now stood at the side and hugged her waist.
Julian just looked at them with a look of disbelief, he thought his friends were just talking nonsense about Filia and her boss, who said they had a special relationship.
"So the news is true, huh?" julian asked while looking down deeply, he felt sad and disappointed, because it turned out that the woman he was after already belonged to someone else.
"What news, brother?" philia asked who did not know about their gossip.
"none. Don't think too much. I'm sorry, I came home first, good afternoon," Julian said to the two of them before he passed from there.
Filia looked at her husband, trying to find out what gossip was spreading among the employees.
"Did you know something?" ask Filia.
Gryson shook his head slowly, he did not know about any gossip and he did not care about it either. He was even grateful if his employees knew about their actual relationship, so they no longer needed to cover it up.
"I don't know anything and I don't say anything to them either" said Gryson. "That's it. We better get home now, I'm sure you're tired, right?" the one who was immediately embraced by Filia.
They immediately entered his car and left the restaurant's courtyard area, not knowing if there was someone who kept watching the two of them by clenching their hands.
Gryson drove his car at a moderate pace, but his face buckled in annoyance. He regretted allowing his wife to work at his restaurant, because it turned out that many liked Filia.
Filia herself continued to pay attention to her husband, she felt a little surprised because her husband's face was bent inward, while what should be upset was him.
"Mas, what's wrong with you?" philia asked because she could no longer bear to see her husband who was silent.
"No. I'm fine." Gryson replied without distracting himself from the streets.
"Are you angry about Julian?" asked Filia while touching the hand of Gryson who was beside her, this was the first time she took the initiative to do a touch skin first.
"I was just upset with him" replied Gryson, grabbing the hand of Filia who had touched him and peeked briefly and grasping it.
Filia let Gryson do that to her, as she was also happy to get such sweet treatment from her husband.
"Hmmm, okay. I understand" answered Filia.
They were both silent again with Philia's hand still in her husband's grasp. Until a while later, they reached the house and it turns out that Madame Mona was waiting for the arrival of the two of them.
"Where are you from?" lady Mona asked her son and daughter-in-law, she had not realized that the two of them were walking hand in hand.
"We just got home from work, Ma" answered Gryson as he approached his mother.
"Work? Where do you guys work? Is there a company that will hire people who can't do anything about it?" he asked again while glancing at his son-in-law cynically, he indeed intended to offend Philia.
"Ma, don't be like that. Didn't we agree, Mama will no longer interfere in my marriage affairs, since I've already handed over the company to you?" ask Gryson who doesn't like it when his mom breaks a promise.
Philia was a little surprised by her husband's words. So right, Mas Grys quit the company for choosing me? philia asked in her heart.
"Mama doesn't mean it, Grys. A wife should stay at home and wait for her husband who comes home from work, not even equally busy working" explained Mrs Mona.
Neither Gryson nor Filia, they were both silent and did not respond to the words of their mother because they were too confused by the wishes of Lady Mona.
Yesterday told me to work, now tell me to stay home, tomorrow will tell me what else? philia asked in her heart while shaking her head faintly, she really did not understand her in-laws wishes.
"Ma, we're still tired. If Mama intends to argue, we won't respond." Gryson answered while opening the door for the three of them.
After her mother entered, Filia and Gryson followed her from behind. Madame Mona immediately sat on the living room sofa, while Filia and Gryson chose to clean themselves in their respective rooms.
Filia first walked towards the kitchen to store the food they had brought from the restaurant. Gryson, who asked the chef there to cook it, knew his wife must be tired after a long day at work. So, he decided to bring food from there.
Lady Mona followed Filia into the kitchen, and she saw her daughter-in-law arranging the food she was carrying.
"As a wife, you should be able to save. Do not constantly buy food from outside, Filia," he said again while sitting on a dining table chair.
Oh my God, I really did not understand his desire, Philia's mind as she looked at her in-laws who began to scoop rice and side dishes onto her plate.
