Chapter 50

A man was silent as he looked at the photo strewn across his desk. Just a moment ago, Gryson suddenly got a package containing pictures of Filia along with a man in a bookstore, a shopping center that they had been to.

Gryson looked at the photo coldly, he showed no expression, no look of annoyance or anger, only sharp looks and silenced lips.

"Grys, what's wrong?" ask Mrs Mona who happened to be visiting the company.

"There's nothing, Ma." Gryson immediately tidied up the photos on his desk. However, he forgot a photo that was slightly tucked between the files on the table.

Madam Mona saw the strange behavior of the child, she immediately approached her son's desk and accidentally saw the insertion of a photo in the file there. His hands stretched out to take one of those photos. His eyes were round for a moment, as he looked at the photo of Filia, the son-in-law was in a bookstore with another man.

"Grys, is your wife crazy? Why would he dare to play with the other guy behind you?" fawning Mistress Mona while folding her hands was annoyed, while in her heart she smiled with satisfaction Look at Filia, your current husband is very angry at you, his mind with a grin.

Gryson did not respond to his mother's remarks, I don't know what he should say at this time. The man simply rubbed his face violently, before saying, "Here you go, Ma. Maybe it was just one of the friends he met accidentally there."

Madam Mona clenched her hands when she heard the child's words, she challenged the child by looking at him intently. "Grys, you're a smart guy and there are still a lot of women out there who always want you. So, don't make yourself stupid just because of a woman like Philia."

"Ma!" Gryson involuntarily raised his voice when he heard Madame Mona compare to Filia.

"I'm sure he had a reason to see her" Gryson replied without distracting himself from the files on the table.

"Keep defending him, Chrys. But, Mama will prove to you that she's not the right woman for you!" Madame Mona turned to leave Gryson's room in annoyance, she also slammed the door of the room until it rang loudly.

Gryson just shook his head slowly, when Madame Mona came out of her room, she would talk about it later with her wife.

Elsewhere, Filia and Clara are still in the online taxi they are riding in. Along the way home, Filia was more silent and did not respond too much to Clara's babble who thought that the man was one of her friends. He kept wondering about her, but Filia herself did not know who she was.

"Come, Lia. I wonder, who was the man you were with?" ask Clara for the umpteenth time.

Filia was already very annoyed at her friend. He repeatedly refused to answer. However, Clara did not also give up and again questioned the same thing.

"Ra .. I told you, I really didn't recognize that guy. How many times do I have to tell you about it?"

Filia rolled her eyes lazily and asked in annoyance. "Clara Adisukma, since when did you become a woman who often takes care of people's problems?"

Clara gasped at the question posed by Philia, she was quite surprised that Philia would say such a thing to her.

"Aren't you going to stop by my house?" clara asked when she saw Filia who was still sitting sweetly in the back passenger seat.

"I have business. Thank you for being with me today" Filia replied from the car.

"Hmmm, okay. Be careful on the road" said Clara before the car was way back from her yard. He was very curious about the affairs of Philia. He had hoped that Filia would take him and his friend's business.

Do I just follow? Looks like he's going to meet someone. I have to find out. I'm sure she must be hiding something from her husband. Clara immediately entered her house to retrieve the car keys, she chose to follow where Filia went.

Filia asked the online taxi driver to drive her to a hotel on the edge of town. Philia's face was very happy when she found out that someone was waiting for her arrival there.

Arriving at the hotel, Filia immediately got out of the car, not forgetting she also had time to pay the fare first, before entering the hotel building.
