The Lost Prince's

The Lost Prince's
Chapter 12 Asa (part 2)

I've almost revolted harder when I recognized

a pair of brilliant topaz blue eyes. Zeros! My eyes grew bigger, not believing to see Zero in

here's. What's he doing? Is he going to attack me? Zero got rid of

his hand from my mouth. He was busy with the rope that tied me

“What are you doing?”

Zero did not respond.

“Stop! You can't do this! Zeros! What do you want

do?”

“Release you”

“What?! Are you crazy?!! You can be punished later! Quick

get out of here!!”

“I don't care”, he said. He's done letting go

my bond. “You can stand?”

I'm nodding. Trying stand. My knees are trembling a little, though,

but Zero grabbed my waist before I fell. It helps me stand up.

“Come go”

Ah, this guy is crazy! I don't even understand why I

follow and follow him. Arion is seen standing guard near the gate. They

hit the guards at the gate and hijacked the security alarm. But it seems the principal has

backup security. We went out through the back gate, running into the forest.

We decided to spend the night in the woods. Know very well if returning home must face the anger of prof. Quinton.

“Why are you guys coming? You're gonna get in trouble

karenaku”

“Not going. Trust me”, said Arion. He gave a soothing smile.

“Thank you”, I said almost like a whisper.

“Come, Key. That's what friends are for, isn't it?”

We made a campfire and slept around it.

Arion lent me his jacket. I thought thanks to that I didn't sleep with

coldness. But when I woke up the next morning I saw Zero's shirt covering my legs. Zero is still sleeping

curled bend knees.  She's sleeping

bare-chested all night,

definitely cold. I covered her with Zero's shirt and Arion's jacket, then walked towards the river. The sun is not awake yet,

and the forest is still clear. I took a deep breath, entering

as much morning air as possible into my lungs. I wish I could refresh my mind

which was fucked up lately. Yesterday I was

thought I was gonna die in that room. Who would have thought they would

liberate me? Friend, said Arion, a tear rolled from the end of my eye. Bizarre

once. What's wrong with me? Didn't I think it was better to die there?

I immediately wiped my tears to hear Zero's footsteps approaching.

“You're cold?”, he asked.

“Uh...no” Isn't he the one who's cold? “How

with yer? Aren't you cold sleeping like that?”

“Sikit”

Pleasant. She's freezing. His lips even turned purple. I folded my lips and held back the laughter. But I didn't ask

further.

“Tag on your arm, does it hurt?”

I raised my left arm, noticing the red scar from the mysterious arrow

tempo day. "Not sick. It's just that the color is thick"

"I saw him last night. It's a phoenix symbol" he said. "An old grandpa

give me that bow. He said even after centuries had passed

can't use it or find someone who can. He thinks I'm

maybe you can use it or at least find someone who can. I

can't use it. It's good if you can"

"You can't? Why?”

about the phoenix bow. His use was an elf named Lakesha. Him

fighting on the front lines for his family. Only he can use

phoenix bow. The bow with the fire arrow. That said, only the bravest people become

usu”, said Zero who is now crouching on the river bank, preparing to take

water with both hands. “I'm not the one who dared”,

he then washed his face with river water.

Not sure how to respond, I just kept quiet

for a while he watched the water dripping from Zero's chin as he

washed his face. The water reflected soft sunlight, drenching some of it

zeros blonde hair then went down the edge of his firm jawline. At a time like this, he wasn't too annoying,

my inner.

“That swirl picked you, Key”, Zero said. “That sign

possible user mark. You can try calling him”

“Call?”

Zero nodded. “If he really chooses you, he will come”

I don't really understand, but there isn't

wrong try. I went back up my left arm, watching the red mark on the

near the wrist. And I called him, “Come”

Nothing happened. Silent. The sound of the wind greeted

the leaves and blowing them down sounded.

A moment later, something broke the sound of the wind. Something is coming in the direction

our. That's a phoenix bow! And somehow the bow seemed to fly like

bird. The phoenix bow landed on my left hand. I held it slowly. And

as before, red flames lit up from the bow. Surprisingly, this time the fire

not hot at all, not even burning me. I looked at Zero who

put on a foreign-looking smile on his expressionless face. He's nodding. I

holding the bow in position to aim, pulling the fire from the bowstring.

It's magical! The fire I could really pull and turn into an arrow. I

aim for a small tree that has lost all its leaves. Arrow

the fire was swift and precise. Burn that little tree.

“Gosh! What bow is it?!”, exclaimed the new Arion

she ran a little towards us.

Zero tells Arion that what I'm holding is a phoenix bow, and that bow

mine now.

Karen greeted us with a big smile

offer breakfast. He didn't look worried at all. Arion told me

how we escaped. Shine said that prof. Quinton came and

leave a message for Zero, ask him to see her this morning. This is unexpected, though,

why prof. Quinton called Zero and not me. As if the principal had already

knew Zero would get me out of the isolation room. Shine is worried

offering would accompany her but Zero refused while saying lightly, “I didn't

will be killed”.

Somehow he settled the problem with the prof

Quinton, I even got permission not to go to school for a week.

“How does he do it?”, ask me curious. Recollecting

how did prof. Quinton about me losing control.

Shine shrugged both of her shoulders. “Entah. He said he just

negotiate”

“Negotiation?”, my repetition is inexhaustible. Negotiation of sorts

whatisit? I mean what can be negotiated here? Obviously everything

it happened because I refused to drink blood.
