The Lost Prince's

The Lost Prince's
Chapter 7 White Vampire (part 2)

With the conversation that night, I approached Shine and Shane who were exercising

in the backyard. It's Sunday, we don't go to

school. And they both have no mission.

"Can you teach me?", I asked.

"Teach what?", asked Shine.

"How to kill a vampire"

Shine and Shane exchanged glances for a moment, then they seemed to sigh almost simultaneously. Shine spoke up. "Zero told us that you might ask this. And our answer

is not"

"You're trying to kill yourself, is that true?", Shane said.

"Wait... That's different"

Shane looked in disbelief and was angry to hear me who did not deny his question.

"What's different?"

"I mean, I won't do it again"

"How can we trust him?" Shane still doesn't trust me.

"I promised Karen. And I have to avenge my parents. Or me

won't be able to live quietly" I put on a face as clear as possible

ican do. Well, I've run out of sense how to persuade them.

"Don't you say you're gonna help me, Shane. You said you understood

how I feel"

"But Key.this is too dangerous" Shane said. "I don't want you

wounded. Leave your fine to me. I'll kill him for you"

Shane won't budge. I guess I can't persuade people with faces

weld. Damnit damnit! I thought I could get them to help me. But this is futile.

I was ready to back off my intentions when Shane spoke again.

"I will really repay your fine. Trust me" her voice softened,

maybe he caught the disappointment in my face.

"I think you understand me, that I should kill him with my own hands"

Shane took a deep breath, approaching where I was standing. He grabbed my shoulder and

gripping it slowly."Look Key, our enemy is a vampire. No

like humans, killing vampires is not easy. Even hunter

like we could die at any moment"

That I know too. But I don't care about my life. "I have to kill him. I

could kill. I can fight!"

Both of Shane's eyes grew, his hands coming down from my shoulders as if losing energy.

I think he just understood now that nothing can change my mind.

"You can fight, you say?", asked Shine.

I'm exalt. I-i can. My father taught me martial arts since I was 8 years old. According to my ability to

defending yourself and defending is important. Even though I had no purpose at the time

especially to learn it.

"OKs. What if we bet? If you can take down Shane then we will

taught you how to fight vampires"

"OK"

"Wait on! I didn't say I agreed", Shane protested. "I can't hit

a girl"

Shine grunts. "Then let me"

"You're serious, Shine?!", asked Shane in disbelief.

Shine did not respond, she just smiled and nodded at me. Signals to

start off. Doubtful, but I started running towards Shine, launching

high kick with my right foot. Shine fended it off and grabbed my leg. I can't give him time. I pointed my fist at his face. Shine cover

his face and caught my hand.  And I

gave him a punch in the stomach without a second's pause. Shine couldn't

fending him off, his body shot backwards

cross the backyard until it hits the wall of the house. Shine landed

sitting up, groaning in pain. While I froze in my place

stand up. Surprised by the power of my own punch. Shane looks the same

surprised by me, he didn't budge either.

"Are you stupid?" Zero jumped down from the roof. He just slept in the morning

house roof. "You can die if you're not alert to the attack"

Shine coughed, clutching her aching stomach with one hand. "I didn't

know he can fight"

"He already said it" Zero reached out his hand, helping Shine up.

"That's unexpected" Shine again groaned in pain as she stood up.

"She's a girl"

"He's not human"

Zero's words slapped me and I was stunned back into reality. I followed Shane

who ran over to Shine.

"I'm sorry", I said with my lips.

Shane helps Shine stand up, as if not willing to take the role Zero. "God!

That was a surprise. You okay, Shine?"

"Yeah, like" Shine coughed again. Blood came out as he coughed.

I covered my nose as soon as the smell of blood touched the air. A dull sensation

it came out from behind my lungs. Damnit damnit! I really want it.

"He's not okay" Zero.“ saidI think his ribs broke”

Shane helps Shine walk into the house. Zero followed behind him. Karen

he was running towards them, but he was approaching me. Concerns meet

his pretty blue eyes.

"Aren't you okay?"

I nodded slowly, walking into the house. Karen took my hand, she

whispered softly apologizing for not seeing her. Well, neither did Karen

you can always have a vision of the future. We followed Shane and Zero who

escort Shine to the living room, letting her lie down on the sofa. Zero

crouching in front of him, palpating the part of Shine's stomach that was hit by my punch. As such

normally, his face did not show any change in expression. Then he took out

a cell phone out of his pants pocket, calling someone.

"Sister Shine will be fine" Karen said trying to calm me down.

Zero breezed away towards the garage as soon as he hung up the phone. Middle shane

get some drinking water for Shine as someone breezes in from the door

"What's going on here?", asked Arion who was aware of our panic situation.

"Sister Shine was injured because of the training" Karen said briefly. Once again, once again,

his ability to hide the facts about me still surprised me.

"I hit him"

I know Karen turned to me with angry eyes

glared. Arion looked surprised but said nothing.

He watches Shine and Shane for a moment, then looks for someone else who

not seen here.

"Did Zero seek help?"

"Looks. He's on the phone to pick someone up"

"So", muttered Arion. "You don't have to worry, Key. There won't be any problems"

About 20 minutes later, Zero returned with a straight white-haired girl

along hip. The girl looked my age, her skin was almost as pale as white

her hair, her face is thin with beautiful cheekbones. He almost looks

like a very elegant sculpture. Shane and even Shine are injured

looking at him with his mouth open. I can see shadows resembling pigeons

white behind him. He's a vampire!

Arion waved his hand, the girl looked surprised to see Arion. "old

don't meet, Efterpi"

Efterpi shifted her gaze from Arion to Zero who gave no response. Him

he smiled at Arion. "I didn't think you were here, Arion"

Arion let out a short laugh. He then approached Zero who was standing nearby

wall. Meanwhile Efterpi checks on the injured Shine. It appears

it did take a few seconds for Shane and Shine to wake up

from the charm of Efterpi.

"Can you take off your clothes?", Efterpi asked Shine.

Shine looked timid, but her hands moved to take off her clothes. Efterpi.

his right hand to Shine's stomach was injured but did not touch it. From

his hands came out a very bright white light. The light enters the body

Shine and slowly but surely the wound on his stomach seemed to disappear. I

breathing out without

I realized I was holding back once Efterpi finished healing Shine. Can't believe it

what I just saw. That vampire named Efterpi can heal wounds!

"Thank you very much. We are troubling you again" said Shine.

"It's okay. I'm glad I could help"

I heard a breath next to me. Karen. He was not too surprised

efterpi's Coming. Could it be that Karen already knew about Efterpi? Correct

also, Karen may have seen a lot of things I didn't know. But strangely

he didn't say anything to me.

After receiving Shane's thanks, Efterpi approached Zero and Arion. They

seems to be talking about something. But Zero stops Arion

start opening the topic.

"Wait a minute. We're talking upstairs"

Arion snorted softly, looking annoyed but he followed Zero upstairs. Efterpies

also behind them. Karen approached Shine asking her condition.

He slightly protested to Shine who blushed as Efterpi told him to

undressing.

"What the fuck was that? Brother need not be ashamed of that. Brother must have thought of something else

right?"

"Bu-not so", said Shine misbehaved. "That's natural, I'm out too

men"

"When I think brother is different.."

I walked into the backyard, closing the door behind my back. Nightwind

the cold welcomes me. I think I need to clear my mind for a moment. I

grabbing Shane's bag containing small knives, throwing it at the target board

across the other side of the page. Trying to focus my mind only on the knife in

hands and target board. Not very successful, I still hear the chatter

Karen and Shine. And also the talk on the 2nd floor, in Zero's room. Arion

says that Zero's mother is worried about him. He tried to take her

back home.

"I'm more worried about your father. He showed no reaction at all,

as if I don't think of you anymore" Efterpi said. "Later I was

saw Lucas approaching him"

"Don't just approach you?", asked Zero.

There was no response. Instead of responding, Efterpi changed the topic. "Arion

deserve an explanation from you"

"I don't need to explain anything" Zero seemed to remain indifferent.

"I trust you, no matter what. Sorry for that time I..."

Zero cuts off Arion's words, "Forget it, Arion. You don't have to get involved"

"Vermillon" said Efterpi as if he were hesitant to

saying it.

"Effterpi!" Zero raised his voice.

"At least, Arion has the right to know. So is Zane"

There was a silence that felt tense for a moment. Zero and Efterpi said nothing.

Arion muttered the word 'vermillon' several times, then with a breath

restrained he exclaimed softly, "Don't-don't!"

"A satisfied now?", asked Zero annoyedly.

"Go"

Voices

Zero sounds more slender than usual. He really isn't

care about the feelings of Arion or Efterpi who are worried about him. I wonder

why they still want to be friends with Zero. Well, it's none of my business.

At least now that they were done, Arion and Efterpi headed to the floor

one and go home. I sighed softly, maybe I should try to sleep,

the knife is also over.
