Chapters 57. VIP ticket

Three days passed quickly. The atmosphere of the Imperial Capital of Qin was extremely bustling today. Various families from third grade to noble families were present at the Orange Ray Auction.

Xu Chen had only spent three days practicing the Death Aura that his Master had taught him. Xu Chen with an aura of death could make his opponent have difficulty breathing, depressed and at worst dead. Not very great indeed, but the aura of death could be very useful for bluffing opponents.

"Hahh, today has finally arrived! I will be a rich man in a moment," Xu Chen rose from his seat with a wide smile on his face.

Xu Chen walked out of his room making all eyes on him especially the inn servants.

"What's wrong with her?" a female employee frowned looking at Xu Chen, "Usually her face was very flat like the floor and look at it now, she smiled?"

"Hey, but take a good look," the other female employee looked at Xu Chen solemnly without blinking, "He is very handsome when smiling!"

All the officials at the inn were very familiar with Xu Chen despite only staying for three days, but Xu Chen had made a tremendous furore.

As Xu Chen was training the aura of death, he accidentally leaked out a bit of his aura and instantly scattered throughout the inn, along with it the entire crowd who were not breathless cultivators, even some of them fainted.

Because of the incident Xu Chen was almost kicked out of the inn, but the inn that eased the horror of the death aura that Xu Chen let out immediately undo their intentions.

"Place indeed, but did you forget about the incident that day?" the female employee shuddered in horror, as she was the one who had fainted from Xu Chen's death aura.

The other female employee looked like she remembered something and shuddered in horror like her friend.

Without the two of them being aware Xu Chen could hear the conversation of the two despite the distance and somewhat crowded, but Xu Chen was as usual flat and uncaring.

After leaving the inn Xu Chen only took a few minutes walking to arrive at the Orange Ray Auction, as indeed the distance between the inn and the auction was not too far away.

The moment Xu Chen wanted to enter the Orange Ray Auction again he was stopped by a door guard.

"Stop who are you?" shouted a guard.

Seeing that Xu Chen frowned "Why are they holding me back again, haven't I already put on some nice clothes!?" inner Xu Chen.

However just as the doorman wanted to act further to Xu Chen, suddenly his comrade's hand stopped him. Spontaneous guards did not continue their actions and looked at his companion full of question marks. However his partner did not answer he just advanced forward and faced Xu Chen.

"I'm sorry, my partner, sir!" the guard bowed respectfully, "He only worked a day here and didn't know the master's prowess" he continued. His partner looked at him question markingly.

Xu Chen seemed to think for a moment while holding his chin, "Ahh, you were the one that day, huh?"

The guard nodded his head "Yes, sir!"

"Where's your partner?" Xu Chen asked about the guard whom he cut off his arm the other day.

"He hasn't worked here, sir, since...?" the guard covered his mouth with his own hand aware that he had spoken the wrong thing.

Xu Chen's expression changed instantly, even making the guards jump in shock and fear thinking Xu Chen was angry at him.

Xu Chen certainly understood what the doorkeeper meant. Xu Chen realized his behavior the other day because of his emotions he should not overdo it until he cut off a long arm.

"He's just doing his job, I'm the one who's wrong!" Xu Chen said with a guilty face.

The doorman did not flinch at all, he actually wanted to defend his partner, but was afraid that anything would happen to him and lost his job. While the other guard was just staring at his colleague who was looking down at Xu Chen like he was terrified, "What exactly happened?" inner guard full of question marks.

"What is his name and where does he live? I want to apologize to him!" Xu Chen held onto the shoulder of the guard telling him to re-raise his head.

Xu Chen nodded his head slowly then pulled out something from under his cloak, "This is my ticket," Xu Chen showed the ticket Kuo Huo gave to the two guards, "I can enter!?" Xu Chen chuckled softly as he looked at the expressions of the two guards.

The two guards certainly knew the golden-coloured ticket that Xu Chen had issued, the VIP ticket that only the nobles had due to its high price, "Surely master may enter," the guard who had blocked Xu Chen earlier lowered his head respectfully even he trembled slightly when he knew Xu Chen had a VIP ticket.

Xu Chen chuckled softly and quickly walked into the Orange Ray Auction, as Xu Chen saw a young noble master escorted by several guards being pointed at him.

"I thought it would be a lot of people here!" Xu Chen looked awkward as it was unusual to be in such a dense crowd like now and also this was the first time he had followed an auction.

As Xu Chen was walking without direction, a woman with a wide smile and skimpy clothes approached Xu Chen from behind.

"Duringly did not see master Chen," Ying Yue patted Xu Chen on the shoulder.

However Xu Chen did not respond just to move his legs back away as if nothing had happened.

Looking at Xu Chen who was even away, Ying Yue frowned, "Didn't she hear me? didn't I pat her shoulder hard enough?" ying Yue said full of question marks.

Ying Yue did not give up just like that because it was not her style, the girl immediately ran over Xu Chen who was away. Until the moment Ying Yue had been in front of Xu Chen he immediately blocked Xu Chen's footsteps.

"Hi master Chen," Ying Yue raised her hand greeting Xu Chen.

"Ah, Miss Yue, what's wrong?" Xu Chen had actually learned of Ying Yue's arrival from the aura that the girl's body was emitting. Xu Chen was already more sensitive to one's aura because he had studied the aura of death. However Xu Chen deliberately avoided Ying Yue, he did not want to be bothered anymore like three days ago.

"What's wrong? I should've asked you what are you doing here?" Ying Yue was full of probes.

"I want to go to the auction!" reply Xu Chen firmly.

"Hmm," Ying Yue walked around Xu Chen's body while looking at the full sight, "The terms of entering this auction are at least third-rate families and I have never heard of the Xian family in this Qin empire," Xu Chen had introduced himself to Xian Chen.

Xu Chen was silent for a moment, "You look different today Miss Yue," Xu Chen switched the conversation.

"You don't have to switch the conversation, just answer where are you from?"

Xu Chen and Ying Yue only held a few glances before Kuo Huo walked up to Xu Chen.

"Mr Chen, Miss Yue. What are you guys doing here?" Kuo Huo looked puzzled as he saw Xu Chen and Ying Yue staring at each other fiercely.

Xu Chen who saw Kuo Huo breathed a sigh of relief, "Master Huo I finally found you, I've been looking for me everywhere just now!"

Kuo Huo immediately distracted himself, "Master Chen I've also been looking for you everywhere, let's get in soon the show will start!"

"Miss Yue you are also prepared!" kuo Huo.

Xu Chen and Kuo Huo immediately left Ying Yue with looks of annoyance. While Xu Chen laughed fasting in his heart.
