Chapters 51. Farewell

Xu Chen had already left the village in the fog. The young man's departure left many memories to the villagers, especially the young men whom Xu Chen had nurtured into his disciples.

For them Xu Chen was not just a hero who freed their village, but also a hero who freed their shackles.

Although unspoken, yet deep within the depths of the hearts of Xu Chen's disciples, they had already given their entire dead lives to Xu Chen.

Not only that Xu Chen ordered Wu Ming and Li Cong to become the leaders of the other disciples and also both were given the mandate to train all the children in the village who wanted to practice cultivation.

Xu Chen built a tent to rest, while Yan Yu squinted food for their meal.

Xu Chen and Yan Yu had dinner under the dark night sky, but it was not too dark because there was a full moon that looked to shine beautifully.

"Hei Chen, do you know..? Yan Yu said softly, the girl looked at the moon as if returning her gaze.

Xu Chen was still busy with his food, he only snorted in response.

"I don't want this night to end! this night is so beautiful! you knew?" Yan Yu turned his gaze towards Xu Chen.

However, the young man who was spoken to did not budge at all, not wanting to get involved in the conversation.

"Huh, you insensitive!?" Yan Yu simply spoke that inwardly, not daring to say to Xu Chen directly.

After the end of the second dinner they decided to rest the tired body with the trip today and prepare to sleep in the dreamland, which they hope to be a good dream.

"Ahh, why is it so hard to sleep!?" grumbled Xu Chen.

Xu Chen had already tried various ways to sleep. But none of them succeeded. Xu Chen then disconnected to come out looking for a fresh breeze for a bit.

Xu Chen walked for a while, before finding a large stone that was quite tall, yet looked very nice to use to lie down.

Xu Chen without further ado immediately jumped up the huge rock. The young man then lay down with both hands used as a pillow looking at the brightly shining full moon.

Xu Chen raised one hand then blocked the moonlight from his face.

"Teacher...!" Xu Chen knew at times like this his teacher could always talk to him and it always managed to calm him down.

"Hum..." The Dark Emperor retorted lazily.

The Dark Emperor snorted dejectedly "Huh, you've grown up, but why are you always spoiled," the Dark Emperor began to grumble again. "Do what you want to do!"

Xu Chen frowned "I mean Master?"

"Currently, why should I always explain it in detail," the Dark Emperor rubbed the back of his head. "Do what your heart says!" The Dark Emperor pointed towards Xu Chen's heart.

Xu Chen spontaneously held onto his chest "Heart Yaa...!" Xu Chen muttered softly.

The Dark Emperor nodded his head lightly "You should always listen to your heart, not your lust, I hope now you understand!?"

"Alright," Xu Chen immediately stood firm. "Murid understand, Master!" Xu Chen immediately returned to the tent.

Xu Chen was seen glancing at Yan Yu who was fast asleep, then walked up to her "I'm sure, next meeting we won't be like this anymore!"

Xu Chen immediately walked out of the tent then the young man was seen performing hand seals.

Simultaneously with Xu Chen finished chanting his hand seal, instantly a half-circular transparent energy protected Yan Yu's tent.

"This array can at least hold back a Cultivator of the Practitioner realm, he will be safe!"

"Sorry to bother you these nights like the Black Pearl, but we have to continue the journey!?" as he understood Xu Chen's words, the black horse or Black Pearl immediately stood up and lowered his body allowing Xu Chen to climb on his back.

Xu Chen chuckled faintly at the Black Pearl's manner. Xu Chen then directly climbed onto the back of the Black Pearl.

"Are you ready? good boy," Xu Chen rubbed the head of the Black Pearl.

Black Pearl let out a small shout and immediately ran as fast as she could, carrying Xu Chen on her back.

"Hoam" Yan Yu yawned widely while stretching both his hands. Yan Yu woke up because the sunlight was on his face.

"Having noon? why didn't Chen wake me up? not as usual?" Yan Yu was confused usually early in the morning Xu Chen had already woken him up for breakfast and continued on his way, at least that was the case during the three days of the second journey.

The look on Yan Yu's face suddenly changed "Did he hurt?" Yan Yu immediately ran to Xu Chen's tent.

Yan Yu called out to Xu Chen for a moment. However, as there was no reply Yan Yu mutilated to enter.

Yan Yu frowned, he did not find Xu Chen in the tent. Yan Yu instantly became panicked.

Yan Yu ran outside, the girl was calling out Xu Chen's name repeatedly. But there is still no answer.

"Black Pearl?" Yan Yu suddenly thought of Xu Chen's dark horse.

Yan Yu immediately ran over, yet he did not find any Black Pearls in his place either.

Yan Yu sat down limp, the girl began to cry out in a loud voice calling out to Xu Chen.

"Why did you leave me?" Yan Yu rubbed his tears, "I hate you, Chen!"
