Chaptre 55. Gold Card

Xu Chen and Kuo Huo were now sitting opposite each other in a room. Kuo Huo's face looked tense and extremely solemn, while Xu Chen as usual put on an expressionless flat face.

"So you want to auction off your healing pills?" Kuo Huo opened the conversation.

"Yes," Xu Chen nodded his head lightly, "But not just that!" Xu Chen looked at Kuo Huo meaningfully.

Kuo Huo frowned "What do you mean?"

"I still have some pills I want to show you."

"What's the other pill?" Kuo Huo said nervously, "do you have any other Pills you want to show me?"

"Yes," Xu Chen said casually but almost made Kuo Huo jump off the chair he was sitting on.

Xu Chen did not care about the expression Kuo Huo showed. Xu Chen immediately took out a few more Pills from his storage ring. Instantly the aura of the Pill filled the room that Xu Chen and Kuo Huo were using.

Kuo Huo's heart almost slipped out of place when he saw Xu Chen take out more and more sorts of Pills "Are you the one who made all of this?" Kuo Huo finally asked that, something that he had been holding back from earlier.

Xu Chen looked at Kuo Huo for a while before laughing loudly "Hahaha, are you joking? how could this very young me possibly make so many great Pills?"

Kuo Huo just silently looked at Xu Chen "Then who made those Pills?" kuo Huo said a little furiously as he saw Xu Chen lay so many precious Pills carelessly on the table.

"My teacher made it!" Xu Chen suddenly became serious making Kuo Huo who witnessed the change of expression so quickly frown his forehead.

"I'm sorry if I'm so presumptuous of Mr. Chen, but may I know what your teacher's name is?" Kuo Huo deliberately asked that. Kuo Huo knew all the alchemists in the capital and the entire Qin Empire thanks to his association that already had branches everywhere. However he did not know of any alchemist who could make the Pill that Xu Chen had pointed out.

"Is that necessary?" Xu Chen frowned.

Kuo Huo let out a heavy sigh, failing to dig out the information from Xu Chen "This young man is not simple and is very good at playing with words. I need to be more careful!" inner Kuo Huo.

"Find it out!" Kuo Huo shook his hand.

Xu Chen nodded slowly "You must have known these Pills right?" Xu Chen pointed at the pills on the table.

"Yes," Kuo Huo replied briefly as he nodded his head.

Xu Chen smiled complacently he did not need to be tired anymore explaining everything "Disni there are five different types of Pills!" Xu Chen glanced at Kuo Huo ascertaining whether the old man was listening or not.

"Any kind of I will provide ten grains and ten items are packed in one box and sold as a package," Xu Chen again glanced at Kuo Huo.

Kuo Huo nodded his head understanding "This boy knows how to trade, he gives in limited quantities and is sold so that his existence is rare and has a high selling value. I'm getting curious about him?" inner Kuo Huo.

"Master Chen is indeed very clever! I was stunned to see the ability to trade master!" Kuo Huo praised.

Yet just as Xu Chen was getting the praise it was only silent and smiling faintly. Xu Chen actually said it all with the Dark Emperor's direction in mind.

"Alright because mister Huo already understands so I leave everything to mister Huo," Xu Chen spoke up.

Kuo Huo smiled widely while nodding his head "Master Chen take it easy! good stuff will be appreciated good too!" Kuo Huo smiled and glanced at Xu Chen meaningfully.

"Master Chen came in three days. Sinar Jingga's customers will hold a large auction attended by the various noble families of the Qin Empire," Kuo Huo said excitedly.

Xu Chen was a little surprised to hear it, yet he immediately rearranged his expression, "Then I will add two packages for each type," Xu Chen said flatly expressionlessly.

In contrast to Xu Chen who was on land expressionless. Kuo Huo dropped his jaw his heart beat faster. However Kuo Huo again set his breath "Alright, if that's what master Chen wants. I would be so happy to be able to auction it at my humble place!"

Kuo Huo was actually not with the number of Xu Chen Pills, he had often received more Pills, but different stories with Xu Chen Pills.

"You're too humble mister Huo," Xu Chen stood up from his seat, "I'll be back here in three days. I hope everything goes well!" Xu Chen wanted to leave immediately but was stopped by Kuo Huo.

"Wait for Mr Chen!" Kuo Huo slightly shouted and then got up from his seat.

"Please wait a minute for something I want to give to master Chen!?"

Xu Chen nodded his head slowly then sat back down as Kuo Huo requested.

It was not long before a woman dressed as a waiter handed something to Kuo Huo and immediately went to encourage the two.

Xu Chen saw it was just silently indifferent to what Kuo Huo was doing.

Kuo Huo again sat down at his place while glancing at Xu Chen for a moment, "Master Chen I just want to hand this over," Kuo Huo thrust something at Xu Chen.

Xu Chen looked at something that was thrust towards him and then accepted it. "I didn't expect to get this when I first got here!" inner Xu Chen.

Something Kuo Huo gave him was a gold card. At home if someone gets the gold card will be given privileges such as a ten percent discount when transacting with the Orange Ray Auction.

Kuo Huo was astonished when he saw Xu Chen looking at the gold card he gave as if knowing it, "Sorry master instead of wanting to insult, but does master know with that gold card." Kuo Huo asked like that because the people who got gold cards from him were only the nobles who frequented the auction.

Xu Chen smiled lightly "Sure I know!"

Xu Chen actually knew that because he had seen his father's gold card, even though it wasn't from the Orange Ray Auction, but Xu Chen knew the function of the gold card from every place like the Orange Ray Auction was the same.

Kuo Huo looked disappointed when he found out that Xu Chen already knew the usefulness of the gold card he had given. Though Kuo Huo was already very excited about explaining about the gold card in order to see Xu Chen's surprised expression. Somehow the desire came about as Kuo Huo continued to look at the flat expression Xu Chen was showing.

"All right, here's the VIP ticket. With this master Chen could become a special guest and earn a special place while the auction was going on," Kuo Huo looked limp, yet still explained his VIP ticket even though he knew Xu Chen already knew about it as well.

Xu Chen unexpectedly felt funny with Kuo Huo's behavior finally chuckled, making Kuo Huo return excited.

"It turns out that if master Chen laughs it will look even more handsome!" Kuo Huo praised with a glittering smile on his face.

"I hope we can work together further after!" Kuo Huo extended his hand.

Xu Chen replied to Kuo Huo's hand with a smile, "Sure, I was expecting it too!"
