Chaptre 39. Destroying the Curse

The dawn had dawned followed by the long crowed rooster, awakening the people who were being lulled in the dreamland.

"Grandfather, grandfather!" the scream of a little girl broke the silence of Huang Ho's residence.

"What's Miao'er? why are you screaming so early? you're gonna wake up Mr. Chen and Miss Yu!" an old man came out of the room rubbing his eyes.

"Grandfather! grandpa! look out there's something I want to show you," held his grandfather's hand and immediately pulled him out.

The pulled Huang Ho simply resigned and followed his grandson's tiny steps wherever he went. Until they arrived at the yard

"What does Miao'er want to show Grandpa?" Huang Ho asked limply, as he was still sleepy.

"Look at that grandpa!" the little girl pointed towards the roof

Huang Ho looked at the direction his grandson was pointing at, as soon as the old man widened his eyes "W-how could it be?" she said nervous in surprise.

"Miao 'er! quickly call big brother Yu here."

"Yes!" the little girl replied briefly and immediately ran into the house carrying out her grandfather's orders.

It was not long before the little girl had returned with Yan Yu walking beside her while holding onto her tiny handle.

When Yan Yu met Huang Ho's eyes, the girl did not care about him because she was still angry considering yesterday's events

"What does Miao'er want to show brother Yu?" Yan Yu stared at the astonishment around her, the girl felt that nothing had changed or was interesting to look at, except for Huang Ho who was silently sculpting.

Xu Chen who did not know what kind of reaction to it ended up just silent.

"You're a bitch!" Yan Yu immediately stood up and left Xu Chen.

"Why did he suddenly become such a freak?" Xu Chen scratched his non-itchy head.

"As usual women are very difficult to understand huh, stupid boy!"

Xu Chen did not reply, but the young man nodded, agreeing with his Master's words.

However, the reaction Xu Chen showed was only mediocre. The young man's expedition didn't even change at all. The young man simply said it was okay and did not think about the past.

And of course Xu Chen's attitude that did not bother this confused Yan Yu and Huang Ho. Yan Yu was actually anxious to protest, at least he thought of slightly giving the punishment to Huang Ho, yet what power all came back to Xu Chen.

The three of them had now walked to the North until they finally came to a halt as a thick wall of fog blocked their steps.

"Mr Chen! what do we do now? do we need to get into that fog?" Huang Ho pointed at the thick fog wall in front of him.

"Yes! I'll look for him, you two wait here," Xu Chen glanced at the two people behind him.

Xu Chen's words managed to get a strong rejection from the two, Yan Yu and Huang Ho clean hard wanted to follow Xu Chen and help him. However Since Xu Chen said the two of them would only be a burden to him, Huang Ho finally reluctantly allowed Xu Chen to enter into the fog alone.

However not with Yan Yu, the girl still insisted on wanting to follow Xu Chen wherever he went, for him wherever Xu Chen stepped there had to be him behind her. Xu Chen had rejected her a few times, but the girl had always quibbled on doing this before, when she first entered this village.

It was with a heavy heart that Xu Chen finally allowed the girl to follow him, but had to continue listening to his words and continue to hold onto the edge of his clothes in order not to miss.

The two began to enter a thick expanse of fog leaving Huang Ho who was just silently staring at them from a distance.

During the walk for a while Xu Chen did not say anything, the young man only continued to focus on the road.

"May I hold your hand?" Yan Yu suddenly said breaking the silence.

"No!" reply Xu Chen was brief.

Yan Yu snorted dejectedly "Cih! you're still cold as usual!"

Xu Chen did not respond to the girl's remark, he just continued walking down the thick fog.

"All right! we've arrived!"

"Huh! where's the old man I don't see anywhere?" Yan Yu watched his surroundings but did not find the monument that Xu Chen was referring to.

"Are you blind? look at that!" Xu Chen pointed in one direction.

"Ah, yes! this monument is so small, so I don't see it."

Xu Chen bit his finger and immediately dripped his blood onto the monument, then the young man closed his eyes slowly and began to recite the spell taught by the Witch.

Simultaneously with Xu Chen completing his spell the monument showed a strange reaction. The monument lit up brightly and created a small tornado that drew all the mist and sucked it slowly.

Following that the sky began to cloud, lightning struck, and the wind was blowing fiercely. Slowly but surely the monument attracts all the fog in the village. But not only that the residents who witnessed the strange incident came out of their homes to witness the natural phenomenon.

"What's going on?"

"Eitherway? but look, the fog is starting to disappear!"

"What?" the person looked towards the fog and sure enough the fog slowly disappeared.

"Yes right! but behold the mist is sucked in that direction," pointing towards the direction in which the mist is sucked.

"Yes you're right! immediately tell the others and immediately gather where the fog was sucked."
