The knight's destiny

The knight's destiny
Episode 9

A bewildered heart broke common sense, just like Lithia had experienced after taking out everyone who had previously attempted to rape her. The other side continued to whisper in order to keep control of Lithia's body for a while ahead.

Lithia did not want to rely on the other side of her because it always ended in a fight even though it did not make Lithia's body hurt. Lithia first got that personality when a few days after Lithia was first hunted by the royal army.

Submerged in the darkness, Lithia's soul seemed to continue to ask for help but did not get help from anyone. In the moment when he continues to grieve with his fate, that's when someone in his mind is created and helps him.

Ever since she had another personality, Lithia began to be able to adapt to the bad reality that plagued her. Disguise, run, beg, and whatever keeps his breath connected every day.

A pretty hard day's work for a royal princess who lives her life. Until one day he met a boy who was a teenager. The boy was Luragorn.

“How? Do you really not want to go out?” ask the other side of Lithia.

“No. I want to wait for him. Lura promised to be with me. He has promised,” firmly Lithia expressed her feelings and desires.

Fast and heavy footsteps without any hesitation. The moonlight shone on a man who was running in a hurry. His breathing was hunting and his speed was running at about thirty kilometers per hour. Accompanied by some leaves and grass flying past him, Luragorn swung both arms in tune with the rhythm of his legs.

The sword on his back and the eyes fixed forward, this man only thought of one important thing, which was his duty to save Lithia as soon as possible. Luragorn sped up his pace as fast as he could while imagining his vow that day.

“Please wait for the princess, I'll come,” Inner Luragorn.

Memories of the oath he said as if burning the spirit and shut down the defense system Luragorn's own body that had told him to stop and rest.

The heart is pumped so much that sometimes he feels pain in his chest. All muscles, especially the legs, burn because they continue to run without a pause.

The day Luragorn vowed vividly remembered in his head. It was those memories that kept pushing this man to ignore his body's call.

Luragorn was still a teenager and still dressed shabbily, he had become the slave that Lithia had bought. Wherever Lithia went, Luragorn followed. Although Lithia did not order , but Luragorn continued to help this red-haired girl.

The repeated activities left Lithia with no choice but to accept Luragorn. Luragorn knelt with his head bowed, swearing to be Lithia's loyal bodyguard.

After that day, Luragorn slowly began to get better at having found the sun that illuminated the entire gloom of his life.

“Wait for the princess, wait a minute.”

“No! I don't want to! I want to wait for him!” Shouted Lithia

Luragorn does not know at all about Lithia's other personalities and this woman does not want that to happen, given her very different natures and actions.

“No want! He's definitely coming!”

Lithia clean hard with her opinion and refuses not to wait for Luragorn.

Luragorn's search paid off when he found a simple wooden fortress with watchtowers standing at each corner. A six-meter-high wooden fence surrounds the fort. A seven-meter-high wooden tower at each corner with a guard in each tower.

The langung tower guards shot arrows while the gate guards started closing the gates. Five arrows came toward Luragorn from above and the man's reflex was to jump forward quickly and then roll on the ground when landing.

*WUSH!

Luragorn's sword was thrown towards one of the guards who tried to close the gate. Sticking in the chest and eliminating the balance of the guard which along with the rush of blood spurted out.

Luragorn lunged quickly into the open fortress. Luragorn drew his sword from the body of the guard who lay moaning in pain.

The high concrete stage is spacious with many sword strokes on each surface. A wide-rise wooden chair circled the arena, making Luragorn convinced that he was in the gladiatorial battleground.

The storage room of the fighting slaves was definitely not far from where it was, that was what Luragorn thought as he scanned around.

The arrows were released towards the intruder who was temporarily pensive looking at the situation. Luragorn leapt quickly away when he heard the sound of the bow pulling and landed smoothly. The eyes of the big-switched man stared intently glaring towards the tower guard, but fighting the guard was not the thing he should do now.

The tower guards were shocked to see someone who could dodge the arrow attacks without any warning at all. Luragorn looked ahead and found a large building with wooden materials as well as several small buildings beside it.

Lithia cornered in a dark cage while covering her ears. Moist air entered his body and made him shiver.

The sound of commotion echoed outside the building, blowing unrest in Lithia's heart. This curled woman immediately stood up, approaching the iron bars that were a barrier between her and freedom in plain sight.

“Lura? Is that you?” muttered Lithia expecting her knight to come.

***

“Where are you, Princess?” inner Luragorn examines each building.

His eyes swiftly watched each building swiftly. The enemy in front of him continued to attack with arrows and sword slashes, but Luragorn was still able to dodge them.

“Where are you, Lura?” inner Lithia holds the prison iron.

His heart pounded and strengthened his grip on the iron bars that looked rusty.

Luragorn suddenly stopped his sight on a small, dark building without any illumination. I don't know what attracted him, but this man immediately ran towards the building.

“LURA!”

*BRUK!

The wooden door shattered and the fragments scattered in the air. A man lunged in forcibly and made Lithia turn in surprise at the spot where she stood followed by a wide smile strewn across the red-haired woman's face..

Landing with the acceleration due to the previous lunge, a man then stood with a sword in his hand. Lithia smiled widely with slightly glazed eyes.

“Princess! You okay?!”

That quick question made Lithia's heartbreak disappear. Tears of joy flowed profusely as Lithia saw Luragorn standing behind bars restricting herself and the man in front of her. As Lithia expected, Luragorn came to her rescue.

“Stat! Who are you?!” shouted one of the guards.

“Princess .. can I use it now?” luragorn asked with a disjointed breath.

Lithia nodded quickly and the guards wearing swords lunged in. Lithia clenched both her hands in front of her chest. A bright yellow light emanated from Lithia's left chest. Shaped king chess pieces and produced a dazzling light.

“I've been waiting for you. Lura.”

Luragorn raised his right hand in front of the face while looking at the guards who jumped up and lunged towards him.

“According to your command ...,” Luragorn clenched his hands quickly.

“Sorry I'm late. Princess Lithia.”

The symbol of the horse chess piece on the back of the hand shone, emitting a bright yellow color that shocked Luragorn's opponents. Luragorn's gaze instantly turned gray and every movement other than himself seemed to slow down three times of normal speed. All the attacks became clear and he started to move his legs.

“Now it's okay,” Inner Luragorn.

“1 ...,” muttered Luragorn swung his sword.

Luragorn approached the guard who tried to attack him and directly swung the sword towards the stomachs of the guards. Two swift slashes horizontally tore through the stomachs of the guards, spewing fresh blood onto the dusty cold floor.

“2 ...,” muttered Lithia observing Luragorn.

Luragorn stepped out and saw another guard preparing to attack him. A guard wielding a sword and five archers directed their attack to a single point, Luragorn.

“3 ...,” murmured Luragorn.

A guard tried to slash at Luragorn, but his movements were too slow to injure this angry man. Luragorn immediately slashed the guard's hand quickly, severing both hands that held long swords.

Luragorn picked up the sword that had come off from its user and then threw it at one of the archers. The sword stuck in the archer's chest and made him lose his balance and fall from the watchtower.

Luragorn took a deep breath and took it out slowly. That colorless and slow-moving gaze seemed to be very soothing to the heart of the man who was grasping a sword tightly.

A fat man with an expensive coat suddenly came over. With a small body and a somewhat bald head, the person directly spoke to Luragorn. He is the owner of the fighting ground. Beside him stood three beautiful women wearing almost transparent smocks. The three trembled in fear looking at Luragorn who seemed to be enveloped by the blood spill.

“Hei! What do you want? The money? How much do you want?” ask the fat man.

Luragorn threw a cold stare at the fat man without returning his question. This fat man instantly retreated in trepidation and trembled to see Luragorn who could not be persuaded by money.

“4 ...,” says Luragorn.

“4? 4 what? 400 gold pieces?” ask the fat man in cold sweat.

Rumbling footsteps suddenly sounded and the worries of this fat man instantly changed with a wide grin. A squad of fighters lined up behind the fat man, numbering around twenty people and ready for combat at any moment. All of them were wearing armor and armed with longswords.

“Hahahaha! How dare you attack my place of business. Now ... regret and apologize! Maybe I'll just make you a gladiator. Hahaha!”

“5 ...”

“Hah? You still want to bargain? 500 gold pieces? Don't dream!” tough the fat guy.

In droves the fighters attacked Luragorn. Footsteps that shook the ground a lot, all eyes were on the only man who only wore a sword as his weapon.

“6 ..” murmur Luragorn.

“About a month after I freed Luragorn,” muttered Lithia trying to remember her past.

Lithia woke up from sleep and felt her chest tight. The look on the face of each member of his family hit the little girl's head. At the same time, a king chess piece symbol appeared on his left chest. Lithia knew nothing, but she could feel that all her family members were dead.

This little girl wept for her fate and suddenly Luragorn clasped Lithia's little hand.

“I swear I will continue with you, princess Lithia. Stop crying, I will accompany you,” said Luragorn who then stopped Lithia's crying.

Lithia stopped crying and looked at Luragorn who was looking at her very seriously. Lithia slowly stopped crying and nodded slowly.

A horse chess pawn symbol suddenly appeared on the back of Luragorn's hand and made the two astonished.

“Since then .. we can survive in an easier way. I don't know what exactly this is, but ..”

Lithia clenched her hands together and gazed out of the room, she could see Luragorn who was while fighting without any burden at all. Lithia again sat leaning against the cold wall, exhaling her breath and feeling relieved that Luragorn could find her in time.

A faint smile was outlined as this woman waited for her knight to finish fighting, her somewhat blushing cheeks becoming an expression that matched the excitement in her heart now.

Luragorn stood around the pile of corpses with pools of blood on his legs. His gaze did not change and still looked at the fat man who was standing in fear.

“10 ...,” murmured Luragorn has killed all the fighters and archers who came to attack him.

Luragorn's gaze returned colorful and fatigue was shouted by his entire limbs. The man was breathing heavily somewhat intermittently with sweat drenching his face and other limbs.

“10 ... 10 ... 10,000 pieces of gold? All right, all right, forgive me,” the fat man retreated slowly as Luragorn approached the fat man before his eyes.

“Honey once is only ten seconds, but it's more than enough to kill you and your entire army. Someone who tried to make Lithia's daughter a slave,” said Luragorn.

“All right, all right, take everything you want. Please forgive my life,” whine the fat man while retreating in fear.

*JRASH!

*black!

The sound of the padlock escaping stopped Lithia's daydream. The red-haired woman stood up and approached the door of the cage that had been wide open for her.

“Why were you so long?” lithia asked while hitting the man who released her.

“I'm sorry princess. I'm late,” said Luragorn apologizing while slightly bowing to Lithia.

“Other times you're late, I'll kill myself.”

Luragorn was startled and immediately began to explain the situation, but Lithia first placed her index finger in front of Luragorn's lips and stopped this man from speaking.

“Ssssttthhh .. don't have many reasons. Let's go from here,” said Lithia with a big smile.

“B ... b. alright,” replied Luragorn.
