The knight's destiny

The knight's destiny
Episode 30's

An ordinary day inside the beastman city hidden underground. The difference is that there are no more signs of a beastman society. All residents have been evacuated to other cities and some beastman soldiers have been disseminated information for the coup attack.

Only a few people live in the city. Some of Fsosa's loyal bodyguards, Fsosa's own with Flowy, Luragorn with Lithia, and Fsosa's rook, Rolan. Formations and information have been compiled and disseminated. Just wait for the time. Lithia took a walk with Flowy to familiarize herself with each other.

Unlike Lithia who wears a robe and complete magic equipment, this 170 cm tall woman only coats her tan with a white tunic and regular brown nylon pants. Her eyes were as blue as a sapphire and listened intently to Lithia's story.

"So, like that? Your past is bleak too, Miss Lithia," Flowy said in response to Lithia's story.

"It's okay, it's just the past anyway. And now we are moving into the future," Lithia replied with a friendly smile.

"Yep, it's a good thing Miss Lithia has a great bodyguard like Luragorn."

"Why?"

"none. It's just, why should the royal family be tormented like that?"

"You mean?"

"I'm sorry Miss Lithia, your struggle is very hard.”

"No, no need to apologize."

"Just like you, Princess Fsosa also has a bad past. But I don't think as bad as you–Maybe, " said Flowy staring at the back of his hand which had the mark of a chess piece of orange-colored horse.

The large building with several beastmen guarding, became a common sight in the place where Fsosa lived. Luragorn walked in after the guards allowed him. His slightly wide steps entered the room, finding a rabbit beastman staring at a photo.

"Excuse me," Luragorn said before going any further.

"Ah yes, come in," said Fsosa moving her hand hinting to sit down.

"What's up, Miss Fsosa?" asked Luragorn who was hastening to sit in the guest chair.

There was not a single wall decoration other than the crossed out map as if directing something. All lines lined by Fsosa mark some places with special symbols.

"I heard you feel the same way too" said Fsosa, staring at a picture of her parents.

"That's just the past, Miss Fsosa,"

"My father died protecting me as well as my mother, as did my mother who followed shortly after.”

"I'm sorry, Miss Fsosa. If that's why you hate humans, I think it's natural."

"But I'm lucky to still have loyal soldiers. Said you became a slave after your parents died, and were picked up by Lithia," Fsosa suddenly leaned her body against Luragorn's chest and sighed, "She's lucky," Fsosa muttered.

"A ... what's wrong Miss Fsosa,” Luragorn looked astonished.

"That's why I want to ask you something" said Fsosa closing her eyes, "be my spear-eye."

"You mean?"

"I think Lithia realized it, no, she must have known it. If the mastermind of all this is from Undead.”

“I don't understand what you're talking about, and can you back off? I feel something is wrong with miss now.”

“Can I have your time for a moment? Just a moment?”

“A .. if it can help calm your mind for the sake of strategy, I think it's okay.”

“Not fair,” Fsosa is rather sad.

*BHRUAK!

The huge explosion followed the shock making all alert. Luragorn rushed out to see the situation and found their earth wall damaged followed by a full entourage of soldiers.

"They were moving so fast," Fsosa clucked with her eyes widened.

With thousands of feet of steps echoing through the air, soldiers in full armour combed through every building. Amidst the crowd, a man stood gallantly. Silver armor glazed with rapier as his weapon. A tall body with long unraveling black hair, that person was Morgan.

"So, is this the place? Beastman rebel. I wonder, where did that bastard get all the information?" think Morgan.

A definite footstep from Lithia and Flowy away from the invading forces. The two ran as fast as they could towards the emergency room.

"What'sthis? They were too fast," said Lithia somewhat annoyed.

"It seems like it should be done right away" Flowy replied.

"What about the others?"

"Let's pray they've arrived first."

Both of them kept running without caring about anything.

At the makeshift escape site, everyone had gathered except for Lithia and Flowy. Fsosa directed his remaining troops while Luragorn and Rolan stood firmly waiting for Lithia.

"I'll look for him" said Luragorn spontaneously.

"Wait on! Don't be rash! He was with the beastman pride knight. They must have come, "Rolan snapped to stop Luragorn.

"But –"

"Trust me!"

Although it was hard to accept, Luragorn refrained himself from moving. His legs stomped impatiently while Rolan just stood up while crossing his arms. After a moment of waiting, Lithia and Flowy finally seemed to run towards these two men. A slight smile streaked across Luragorn's face saw Lithia was fine.

"Lura~ sorry to keep you waiting," said Lithia waving her hand.

The condition that calms the heart was forced to collapse when he saw the horde of troops megejar.

"Rolan, wait at –"

Rolan leaped quickly towards Lithia and Flowy, becoming a barrier between these two women with the soldier brandishing his spear.

"Do you want to fight me?!" said Rolan who immediately roared loudly to make the soldiers become doubtful.

"Thank you, Rolan," said Flowy pulling Lithia's hand.

"What'sthis? Animals trying to fight humans?"

The sound coming from behind the crowd made Lithia sculpt. This red-haired woman seemed familiar with the voice she heard.

"I will be your opponent" said Morgan, who stepped out of line to see his opponent.

The familiar face brought Lithia to her childhood memories to make this red-haired woman powerless not to shout at her name.

"UNCLE MORGAN!"

Lithia's shout took Morgan's attention which then forced his subconscious will to kneel.

"Daughter Lithia! What are you –" Morgan broke his sentence when he looked at Rolan, "so huh? All right, you guys threatened princess –"

"Uncle Morgan!" lithia shouted looking at this silver-armored knight.

Lithia's eyes stared earnestly as if explaining everything Morgan needed to know, making this silver armoured knight go silent for a while then stand up and turn around with a smile, "Go princess.”

"Let's go," asked Rolan who did not understand the real situation.

These three men ran as fast as they could while they had the chance and Lithia kept staring at Morgan's back as she was pulled towards the escape.

"Sir, you can –"

"I'm in charge!" morgan said firmly answering the words of the soldiers.

"Daughter, take care of yourself" the inner Morgan ordered his troops to retreat.
