The knight's destiny

The knight's destiny
Episode 8

The carriage swayed and swayed the feelings of the people inside, including Luragorn and the slaves who were shackled with chains on their limbs. Luragorn was still handcuffed and tried to find something that could be used as a key to his escape, but he found nothing but a few dead mice nearby.

Luragorn's eyes traced the entire area while constantly thinking, a way to escape the slave traders before they reached the shelter. It seems that other slaves had resigned their lives, in contrast to Luragorn who had a great motivation to be free, namely saving Lithia from slavery.

The train stopped and so did Luragorn's vigilance increase. His legs were bent to prepare to jump out and his hands were clenched to prepare for battle.

The shadow of someone's head seemed to approach from the back of the carriage, making Luragorn suddenly lunged towards the person. When the slave-seller's head was seen, Luragorn unhesitatingly gripped the man's head tightly and then struck a knee right in the slave-seller's face.

*HUK!

The loud noise shocked the other slave sellers, making the slave sellers inspect the back of the carriage. Everyone was surprised to find Luragorn standing near one of the fainted slave sellers.

The handcuffs in Luragorn's hands had opened after taking the keys from the slave seller he had defeated earlier. The other slave sellers pulled the shortsword-type sword from its sheath, four armed slave sellers against the chain-cuffed Luragorn. Luragorn looked at the opponent in front of him blankly, not thinking that he would be injured with the sword he was pointing at him.

Without thinking anymore, the slave sellers directly attacked Luragorn together. The first attack was launched towards the face and Luragorn raised one of his hands, repelling the attack that came with iron handcuffs on his hands.

The failed slash certainly shocked anyone and Luragorn took the opportunity to attack. Luragorn quickly rotated his body clockwise and made a deep kick towards the slave seller who tried to attack him from behind. The slave seller's head and body were immediately twisted when Luragorn's foot strike hit his head.

The other two slave sellers did a quick slash horizontally towards Luragorn's body, unfortunately they slashed at the wind as Luragorn was crouching right in front of them.

Luragorn made a quick sweep towards the legs of the two men and caused them to fall off the ground due to loss of balance. Both Luragorn's hands were firmly clenched and a quick punch was fired at the two people who were falling earlier.

A quick and powerful blow blew the slave sellers away. Luragorn's defenses opened at the back and made other slave sellers prepare to launch an attack.

Luragorn lowered his head then made a quick straight leg strike towards the back without turning around. The attack that targets the upper part of the body misses and only hits the shoulder. Luragorn turned quickly to look back and found the slave seller was only slightly backward.

Luragorn immediately used his other leg to attack, a quick slashing attack towards the ribs launched by Luragorn before his opponent could counterattack.

The slave seller was immediately thrown away after getting a powerful kick on his ribs, causing some of his bones to break and spew blood from his mouth.

Luragorn stood up and stared intently at the two previous slave sellers who had noticed. The slave sellers knew that Luragorn was a dangerous man and could not be defeated in the usual way, making them think back to attack or run away.

A memory approached Luragorn, making this man even more impatient about the time he spent. That memory is the memory of the time in which Lithia freed Luragorn from her suffering. Luragorn was still a teenager back then and had embedded the mindset of a slave attached to him.

Lithia frees Luragorn using Lithia's own mother's jeweled necklace, freeing a teenager who gazes at the world with a look of despair. From then on, Luragorn continued to follow Lithia even though Lithia had never given any special orders like most of the heavy work that risked her life.

A faint smile was placed on Luragorn's face as he recalled his memories, bringing a feeling of peace and calm in his heart that was wavering from anger. Luragorn again put on a serious face with a sharp look towards the two people in front of him.

“You ... I have something to talk to you both about,” Luragorn told the two slave sellers standing in front of him.

“Hah? A... a. .. what do you want, slave base,” replied one of the slave sellers with trembling lips as he spoke.

“What information?”

“Beastman brought me to you.”

“Then?”

“There is a woman I want to meet.”

“Haha, then .. You're out of luck, man. The woman you were referring to must be being molested by someone–”

*JLAB!

The slave seller immediately fell to the ground before he finished speaking. A sword stuck in his chest and spat out a lot of fresh blood. The sword was thrown from where Luragorn was standing about five meters away from the slave seller.

“You will not demean Lithia's daughter and you will tell me where Lithia's daughter is,” said Luragorn with his cold eyes stabbing the only slave seller alive.

“Ya .. I know, it's great isn't it? They must be expensive.”

“So? How much did you get from those two humans?”

Two cat beastmen were conversing while walking on the quiet, dark streets of the city. The two talked about Lithia and Luragorn who they managed to sell to slave traders.

“Great right?”

“Ya .. You're right, which men seem to be gladiatorial fighters whereas the female ones are very pretty. We're going to party tonight.”

The beastman's second move came to a halt when he felt the killing intent enveloping them. My feathers stood up and their animal instincts told them to run away.

“Who are you? Show yourself!” exclaimed the beastman pulled out a knife.

The sound of footsteps rang out from behind the shadow of the dark house, making these two beastmen gulp while alert.

“There's something I want to talk about .. about the beautiful woman you said just now.”

The one who came out of the darkness was Luragorn who had an expression of anger on his face. The hands were tightly clenched until several blood vessels appeared on the surface of the skin, there was no smile and his eyes stared intently as if to kill anyone they saw.

“Women you guys are talking about that .. can I know that too?”
