The knight's destiny
Episode 17's
A leaflet-sized paper was held by Luragorn. The paper contains an exploration mission of a small mine in the northern part of the Reymin kingdom. The mission was put forward by a miner and blacksmith named Burmab.
“What is it, Lura?” asked Lithia who was wearing her adventurer clothes.
Luragorn had not changed his appearance at all since being lent gold pieces by Lusy. Just a tunic lining the top and nylon pants as subordinates. With boots as footwear, Luragorn seemed very ordinary as an adventurer.
“This .. looks like another mission. Looking at the location, it is likely that we can get something,” Luragorn replied showing a leaflet towards Lithia.
“Hooh, the rewards are also great. Let's do.”
“Good.”
“How far is it from here?”
“About five hours I guess from the northeast gate.”
“After a time.”
“If we walk, it will take five hours.”
“Okay~ we ride lizard again, right?” lithia asked with a thumbs up towards Luragorn with a big smile.

The dirt road in the middle of the meadow becomes a sight for Luragorn and Lithia trips. These two adventurers rode on a meadow lizard that crawled quickly.
Grassland lizards are good mount animals because they are able to crawl quickly for six hours without stopping. The slender shape with smooth green scales is the hallmark of the lizard. Including ride animals at high prices and these two adventurers got it for free from their first mission.
It had been a long journey and finally Luragorn and Lithia reached their destination. A small village area with the activities of its citizens is a farmer, except for someone.
“Hai, you have arrived apparently,” greet a large man with a height of 185 cm.
Her clothes were white tunics and her pants were long black nylon pants. Pantopel as shoes and thick gloves on hand. His large body was facing towards Luragorn and Lithia.
Those round brown eyes were staring at Luragorn as well as Lithia who would become the bodyguard for this big man. The slightly short brown hair looks disheveled and looks a little greasy. In one of his hands was a large pickaxe used for mining.
“How? Stop by the house first. Tomorrow we will explore the new mine,” said Burmab with a radiant face inviting Luragorn and Lithia.
Luragorn and Lithia looked at the sides of the road while watching everyone passing by. All wore conical hats that widened below, typical for the appearance of farmers. Arits and paculs are common equipment wherever the eye looks. All of them were farmers except Burmab.
A rather large wooden house greeted Luragorn and Lithia. A workshop and also a weapon forging place were seen standing beside the mansion.
“Come in, we talk the details inside,” invite Burmab to enter the mansion.
Luragorn and Lithia nodded then accepted the invitation and entered the house.

The spacious room is divided by a living room, dining room, and kitchen. Illuminated by the light from the flint that became the lamp on the top side of the wall. Burmab prepares a dining table for its invited guests.
The living room with an elongated wooden chair was occupied by Luragorn and Lithia. Wooden walls and some wall hangings as well as some animal heads are on display adorning the view.
Luragorn and Lithia observed around while waiting for Burmab and his wife to finish preparing dinner.
“Adventures, let's eat,” take Cyla, wife of Burmab.
Ayu's face looked at Luragorn and Lithia, giving a gesture for a friendly dinner invitation where it was written clearly from a faint smile on her face. Luragorn and Lithia immediately stood up and headed towards the dining room where the dining table had been neatly arranged and the food had been served.
“Don't be shy,” said Cyla calling these two adventurers.
A charming looking housewife with a height of 170 cm is also a slender body with a chest, waist circumference, and proportional hips. His black round eyes looked at Burmab and the only boy, being a color that was in harmony with his waist-straight black hair color as well as somewhat wavy at the ends.
The white Kirtle with a hanging apron, appeared to Cyla like a typical housewife.
“Sit down,” said Cyla welcome these two adventurers.
In the Burmab family, there was only himself, his wife, and a young boy. The peaceful-looking family dinner made Lithia smile a little then take the place to eat.
“By pleasure,” reply Lithia.

Cock crowing and welcoming morning, all residents began their gardening activities and so will the mine exploration mission. The Burmab was ready with its mining equipment and so Luragorn and Lithia were ready with items for escort.
“Let me come, Father,” said Luya, Burmab's son.
A teenage boy pleads with his father while showing him a book containing a type of rock. Those black round eyes looked at Burmab solemnly. His equipment was already very ready to dig and his gaze was extremely fiery.
“Can't,” says Burmab holding onto Luya's bumpy brown head, “if you're old, then I'll let you explore your own mines.”
“But, Daddy–”
“Do not argue! Go play or do something in the workshop.”
Burmab immediately walked out of Luya and began the journey to a mine that was a two-hour drive without a vehicle.

The huge hole at the foot of the dead volcano became the place of exploration this time around. A cave hole with high mining potential, making this place valuable for miners such as Burmab.
Slow steps in the dry mine. Luragorn advanced securing the front area followed by Lithia and Burmab. Several colored mineral rocks and carbon were seen clinging to the sides of the cave. There were no animals such as bats or bears, but it did not make Luragorn lower its guard.
“AWAS!” shouted Luragorn while stepping back quickly.
*Baac!
Something fell from above and landed in front of Luragorn. Bald-headed, green-colored, red-eyed, wearing only a piece of machete cloth as clothing, and holding a stone container. Luragorn drew his sword and put on a defensive pose.
“Goblin,” says Luragorn preparing in his position.
The goblin suddenly jumped towards Luragorn quickly.
*JRASH!
Luragorn slashed the goblin's body into two pieces and a thick red liquid splashed in the air. Luragorn was not immediately happy and instead was alert when he realized there were three goblins jumping from above towards him.
*JRASH! JRASH! JRASH!
Spills of blood washed over the ground and the sword of Luragorn, but it was not enough because in front of this man was a huge row of goblins. Luragorn put on a thin grin then lunged towards the horde of goblins in front of him.
“What is it okay?” burmab asked Lithia.
“Nothing, just hold the torch,” replied Lithia giving her torch.
Luragorn now fought against the goblins while Lithia guarded Burmab who was holding a flint torch as a light.
Not long standing, Lithia immediately felt a strange thing coming from the front. Just like Luragorn who felt something approaching fast, but not just a monster.
“Lily! Beware–”
*GNGNGNG!!!
A large group of insects suddenly flew rapidly from within the darkness, darting towards Lithia and passing through Luragorn who was fighting the goblins.
“Woi! Missis! Nawat!” burmab shouted backwards watching the clouds of insects fly towards them.
“IGNIS!” lithia shouted while advancing her magic wand forward.
A red magic circle appeared at the end of Lithia's magic wand. A meter in diameter with a magic spell lit up, forming several medium-sized fireballs right in front of the magic circle.
“FLORE!”
*BHUM! BHUM! BHUM!
The magic balls flew towards the swarm of insects and exploded instantly in succession. Burn everything and light up the whole mine due to the light of the explosion.
“During these few days, I also grew stronger loh,” said Lithia smiling complacently.
Luragorn was slightly surprised before smiling faintly at those words. Luragorn continued to launch his slash towards the goblins. Another swarm of flying insects came and this time Luragorn did not even need to turn around looking towards Lithia.
Goblins arrive and insects fly, both of them will face opponents with large numbers. However, not a single hint of worry was painted on the faces of Luragorn and Lithia.
“IGNIS!”

Dusk was welcoming and everyone was finished with their daily activities including Luragorn and Lithia who were sitting exhausted in front of the mouth of the mine. Luragorn and Lithia's clothes looked crumpled and shabby with several folds and dust stains attached.
The two successfully completed their exploration mission and eventually gave the mine safe status.
“Thank you adventurers, you guys have helped clean up this mine a lot,” said Burmab with a lot of dirt stains all over his body and face. “I've also put some magic seal paper in the entrance hole. With this, monsters or animals would not be able to enter carelessly. Thank you once again.”
“No, it's okay. This is indeed part of his mission,” replied Lithia with intermittent breaths.
“Alright, let's go home. Let's celebrate this new mine discovery.”
These three people walked home after waiting for Lithia to regulate her breathing to become normal. A two-hour ride is certainly very long, but it wouldn't be that long if it had a mount.
This prairie lizard had reached its destination and Burmab rushed down while Luragorn tied his lizard to one of the trees.
“You have developed a lot, Princess Lithia,” Luragorn told Lithia.
“Hehe~ did you see earlier? My magic is amazing, isn't it?” asked Lithia with a radiant face.
“Ya, very–”
“Lily! Lura! Please!” burmab shouted running towards Luragorn and Lithia.
“What's up?” Ask Luragorn.
“Luya disappear!”
