The knight's destiny

The knight's destiny
Episode 16's

The streets were quiet and the shop by his side was closed. The road to the main guild building felt like a dead city.

“Princess Lithia, forgive–”

Lithia stopped Luragorn's sentence with a close index finger on the tall man's lips.

“Here, call me Lily. Not Lithia,” said Lithia with her face quite radiant, “Let us owe, we will pay after completing another mission. Understand?”

Luragorn simply nodded silently and Lithia continued her footsteps towards the East Wing guild building. Luragorn walked to the beat of Lithia and they came to the door as if there was no one in it.

The door was opened by Luragorn and Lithia immediately jumped forward.

*PROCK! PRAK!

“Congratulations on your first mission!”

The sound of the explosion of the small magic ball like fireworks followed the exclamation that greeted Luragorn and Lithia, leaving the two speechless in astonishment. The side of the wall was filled with wall hangings for the party, food was served on the tables that were lined up in the guild lobby, barrels of beer arranged in the corner of the room, and there was no food, and almost all the adventurers screamed pleasure with smiles on their faces.

“REPEATED!”

The clanking of glass cups sounded after a loud shout echoed. Mage who wore a coat and robe, Assassin who wore tight clothes and a hood, Warrior who wore armor, and Archer who embraced the bow on the back. Everyone toast and feast celebrating the success of Luragorn and Lithia.

Luragorn stood in the crowd of male adventurers while Lithia sat in the place of the female adventurers. Both of them put on a slightly quivering forced smile on the tip of their lips.

“Hooh, so you're the one who managed to injure chairman Lusy?” ask a large-bodied warrior without armor with a brown tunic as a shirt.

As high as 190 cm with large muscles, hair flapped with narrow eyes, stiff face with a slightly wide chin, brownish white skin with several scratches on the shoulder. With just a single look, Luragorn could feel how powerful the man standing before him was.

“My name is Tom and you must be Lura, right?” ask this big man.

“You must be very great to be able to wound the chairman of Lusy,” said Tom looking at Luragorn.

“Not really, I was just lucky,” replied Luragorn in a flat tone.

“I'm serious. Never seen chairman Lusy hurt before,” said Tom glanced at Lusy who was fighting Panco.

Lusy who only wears a yellow tunic looks smiling himself with a slightly flushed face. A few beers fell off the table where Lusy was drinking. Lusy looked quite drunk with twenty beers dropped under his desk.

This brown haired woman just sat down while smiling towards her opponent. The tall, large and very muscular man seemed to have great difficulty moving his arms.

Lusy did not flinch even though he was drunk. On the contrary, the man who fought Lusy seemed to give off all his strength which was visible from his veins and veins that appeared on the surface of the skin.

Lusy slams his hand and defeats the opponent while destroying the table that is used as a panco arena. The man groaned in pain holding his hand while Lusy laughed loosely as he sipped another glass of beer.

Luragorn gulps his saliva when he realizes that he once fought Lusy. A woman who could even make a big man moan with just a single slam without sweat.

“Lusy chairman's strength is incredible and I never saw him exhausted after a fight,” Tom said looking at lusy.

“Lusy's boss is not human. The level is different from us,” said one adventurer.

“Say you also managed to defeat two wolf beastmen, is that true?” ask Tom.

Luragorn simply nodded confirming the veracity of the information.

“WOAH!” shouted the adventurers who were near Luragorn.

Everyone was surprised to find out.

“They are strong, but is it that strong?” ask Luragorn.

“A beastman can be very strong depending on his type and subras. The wolf beastman is not only strong, but also has high coordination ability,” Tom replied looking at Luragorn, saying, “Beating a wolf beastman is like fighting an elite army of the kingdom and you managed to defeat two people.”

“How's Lura? Let's have a drink first, to celebrate your success,” invite an adventurer who looks drunk with a glass of beer in his hand.

In another place where Lithia sat down drinking tea and eating toast served on a round table. Around him were several women who kept staring at Lithia.

“A ... What's up?” lithia asked somewhat awkwardly.

“Who is Luragorn?”

“Your boyfriend? Your family?”

“What is your relationship with him?

“Says you're always with him, are you?”

“He's your protector, right? Is he your brother?”

“How long have you guys been traveling together?”

“What happened in your past to become a wanderer?”

A forced smile with lowered eyebrows was plugged in as Lithia tried to answer the rain of questions.

“Ti .. no, he's not family. We don't have a blood relationship, say friends. If time ... might have been a long time ago. If the past .. I think secret, hehe ..”

The female adventurers surrounding Lithia instantly approached and put on a serious look.

“Means your girlfriend?”

“B ... b. no, we have no such relationship. If you want, just say Lura is my knight.”

Everything was silent for a moment and Lithia immediately put on a confused face. She could not simply say the relationship that she and Luragorn had, but it seemed like these female adventurers were thinking of something different.

“KYAAA! MY KNIGHT!”

“So right? You like her, don't you? You do have that kind of relationship, right?” ask an Archer with a shirt just a gray tunic as well as a rather short skirt.

His eyes sparkled at Lithia and his long black hair straightened out in front of Lithia. A smile mounted and he could not take his eyes off.

“Have you ever said how you feel?” ask the Archer.

Along with the response that came, a long stifled breath sounded.

“Listen to Lily, Lura seems to be the same type as them,” said the Archer glancing towards the male adventurers conversing with Luragorn.

“What type?”

“Types of men who will only talk about their strength and muscles and weapons.”

“Really?”

“I don't know why all the men here only think about fighting, everything is the same.”

“Hooh.”

“So,” the Archer stares sharply at Lithia, “you must show your attractiveness or someone will snatch it.”

“Hah?! Why?!”

“Look at that Luragorn, nice body, great ability plus he can fight the chairman. If he takes a job in the kingdom, I wouldn't be surprised if Luragorn could become a high-paying royal elite knight. Plus he's quite dashing and handsome.”

“Yes ... Lura mema–”'s

*BHAM!

The Archer slammed his hand towards the table and looked at Lithia with all earnestness.

“He's your knight right?!” strict with Archer.

Lithia fell silent and the party continued violently. Pensive for a moment then glancing towards Luragorn who was drinking a glass of beer, Lithia simply placed her gaze on a Luragorn.

It was late in the evening and the inside of the guild building looked messy. Some were lying in the corner for drinking too much, some were cleaning up the remnants of the party, and some just headed straight for the room to continue their sleep.

The distinctive twilight with its ceiling, became a sight for the closing of the day for Luragorn. The tall man was standing on the top terrace of the guild building. It is located on the third floor and facing the sunset, providing the perfect position to see the horizon.

“Hey~ Lura what's your name~” greet Lusy from behind with a slightly stammered and slightly gurgled face.

“What's up, chairman Lusy?”

Lusy immediately stood beside Luragorn and took in the view of the sunset.

“You don't have a place to stay, do you? Do you want one of the rooms in the guild's main building?”

Luragorn was shocked and retreated in shock. Lusy not only gave the gold pieces a loan, but also gave a room to himself and Lithia.

“Why did chairman Lusy give up his all?” asked Luragorn in a flat tone.

Hiccups for a sip of beer went down Lusy's throat, letting the foamy yellow liquid wet the woman's mouth.

“I'm just curious, what is she like? Why do you want to protect her so badly?”

“Reason? Somewhat long the story goes,” Luragorn straightened his body and let out a long sigh, “Even if the whole kingdom hated him, he gave me one reason to continue to be by his side.”

“Hooh ... is that so?” asked Lusy to sip his beer once more.

“That's.”

“Do you like it?”

“Like? I don't know, I just don't want to be away from him. Whatever happens. After all, I was his knight.”

Behind the door to the porch where Luragorn and Lusy were, stood a woman who tried to endure the shame. The woman was Lithia and all around her stood other female adventurers who were smiling towards Lithia. His head was down facing the floor and his red face was blushing as it blushed.

His face smiled as it did know of it, but seeing someone else staring while hearing Luragorn's sentence, gave a different impression to Lithia's feelings.

“Heh~ so ..”

“So si Lura also ..”

“Heh~”

The female adventurers suddenly pushed Lithia towards the terrace. Lithia who was still slightly blushed could not take a step and showed her face to Luragorn, but the impulse was too strong that finally Lithia and the female adventurer fell right after the door opened.

“Lily? what's up?” luragorn asked Lithia who was trying to stand up and then immediately turned her back to Luragorn.

Lithia was then forced to turn to face Luragorn with her face still flushed red.

“Lily, are you sick?” luragorn asked looking at Lithia's face trying to cover up.

Luragorn looked towards the female cultivators who were in front of him then came to a conclusion. Luragorn immediately raised Lithia with a sling ala princess. His right hand lifted Lithia's back and his left hand lifted Lithia's leg.

“Thank you for bringing it,” said Luragorn slightly bowed towards the women in front of him, “Start from here, I'll take care of it, excuse me.”

Luragorn then walked into the guild building and headed for the treatment room.

“T ... t. .. t. .. lower me!” lithia shouted with a dead red face.

“Why? If you are sick, then it should be treated immediately.”

“B ... not that.”

“Then what?”

“Says like that to others ...”

“Say what?”

Lithia was speechless not wanting to answer that question and decided to go with the flow that brought her now. His heart was still beating unruffled and his face was still blushing red. His eyes glanced in another direction as he was unable to look directly at Luragon's eyes for now.

Luragon continued to step foot while carrying Lithia towards the treatment room, ignoring the surrounding situation.
