Hana and her two best friends have returned home to dry up. They had changed their clothes and sat in front of the fireplace to warm themselves. They waited for rescuers to finish evacuating Madison from the bottom of a cliff deep enough.
Hana was crying incessantly, Jeremy and Erick just kept quiet while looking at the fireplace. No one made a sound, they were drowning in guilt for leaving Madison in that remote place alone but between the two men, Hana is the one who feels the most guilty about what happened to Madison.
"We should have brought Madison home by then, Jeremy. Maybe then Madison won't end up like that!" hana said with regret.
"Don't regret it like that, Hana. We both don't know what's going to happen to her, so don't blame yourself!" entertain Jeremy.
Hana was sobbing, she was really sorry. Even though Madison had said that there was something that scared her at night, but Madison had shown that she was afraid but they were not sensitive at all and still left Madison.
Madison must have been chased by criminals, which is why she ran into the woods and fell into a ravine. There is no other guess than that because they did not feel the awesomeness of the house and they did not feel the existence of the devil in the house when in fact what happened was not so.
Although Hana can feel Madison's presence but she still can't see Madison's whereabouts. They were waiting for the evacuation team because the officers said they would bring Madison to the house later.
"Now what, do we have to tell her family about Madison's condition?" ask Erick.
"It definitely has to be, right? Either way, both parents should know Madison's gone" Jeremy replied.
"I'll call them, please give me my phone" Hana asked.
Although both Madison's parents hate Madison and have thrown her away, they should still know. Erick had given Hana her phone, and Hana stared at her two best friends before contacting Madison's parents.
She looked the other way, like she saw something. Somehow he always felt that Madison was with them at this time. Is it just his feelings or is Madison's spirit really with them right now?
"Who is this?" there was a woman's voice and it was Madison's mother.
"It's me, Hana. I'm Madison's best friend" replied Hana.
"What's wrong? Don't say anything about Madison because I don't want to hear anything else about her!" said Madison's mother.
"Sorry, Aunty. But I think you should know that Madison died from falling off a cliff" Hana said.
"What, dead?" Hana thought Madison's mother was surprised like that and then would be sad but everything that happened was unexpected because Madison's mother's laughter actually sounded loud.
"What did you say? She dead?" ask Madison's mom in between her laughs.
"Why are you laughing, Aunty? Don't you care about him?" ask Hana.
"No, I don't care about him anymore. He's just a kid who makes trouble, I don't care about him anymore. It's good that if he dies, he won't make it harder and humiliate us anymore. If you're his best friend, bury him properly. There's no need to say anything to me because he's been dead to me for a long time!"
"Have it done, we shall bury it properly. Maybe they've been very disappointed in Madison because of that, we're gonna bury Madison!" said Jeremy.
Hana nodded, they should indeed bury Madison properly. They were silent again, waiting for news from the rescue team who were still evacuating Madison amid the weather that was getting worse.
"I want to make a drink" said Hana as she moved.
Hana stepped towards the kitchen, but her steps came to a halt. Hana rubbed her nape, she felt that something was following her. Hana even turned to see who was behind her but she did not find anyone.
"Squeen!" muttered Hana who stepped back. She doesn't know if Madison is trying to call her.
The weather was so bad that they waited long enough. Evacuation teams who had difficulty due to the dense trees and the large trees growing in the forest increasingly made it difficult for them to lift Madison up.
The rain that was heavy had stopped but the weather was still bad because the sky was dark and lightning was flashing up there. Hana and her two best friends waited outside, the day had gone into the afternoon without them noticing and they could not stay there for too long because they had to return soon.
"Why haven't the rescue teams finished yet?" ask Hana.
"They must be trying, they might be done soon!" said Jeremy.
"If that's the case, I'd better take care of all Madison's belongings. We have to bring everything in because there's no way we're leaving all his belongings here."
"Do it, we'll both help!" erick.
They agreed to take care of all Madison's belongings. The books they brought with them and the clothes they did not forget. The tranquilizers as well as the Milo food were also not forgotten. Hana looked at Milo's bed while shedding tears. Milo is a loyal dog and he accompanies Madison wherever Madison is until the end of his life. Hopefully Milo is with Madison now and hopefully Madison is calm and peaceful because she does not need to be tormented again by drugs.
"Guys, they've managed to bring Madison!" said Jeremy who got the news first because he was putting Madison's belongings they were going to bring.
Hana and Erick ran out, this time they could already see Madison. Hana who still hopes Madison is in good shape runs faster. He really can't wait to see Madison.
The slippery path he did not care about, he continued to run non-stop despite almost falling occasionally. Erick and Jeremy ask him to be careful, lest something bad happen to Hana due to impatience. The three of them rushed towards the helicopter which was lowering Madiso's body slowly from a stretcher.
"So, Madison!" shouting Hana.
"Patience, Miss. Wait for us to finish lowering her, "two officers held Hana back so Hana wouldn't be rash.
Hana held back, she was already anxious to see but the palanquin was still lowered slowly onto the ground. Jeremy and Erick were already standing on the side, they both wanted to see it so when the stretcher was on the ground and the rope that tied was removed, the three of them immediately ran towards Madison.
Hana shouted out loudly, Madison's cold body being hugged tightly. The crying of his best friend's departure sounds heartbreaking. Jeremy and Erick squat on Hana's side to calm Hana down. They look sad, even though Madison has taken the wrong path but she is still their best friend. What really happened? No one knew the answer to that question because no one saw and knew what had happened in that house.
