A candle was lit, Madison and Adel sat in front of the candle. The two of them were silent but the sound of footsteps could be heard out there in the tailings with the sound of doors opening and closing. Madison didn't want to care about it even she felt that she was the only one who heard the strange sounds.
Adel was already looking ordinary, he even smiled as if nothing had happened before. They did not start talking, either had to start from where but all suddenly changed let alone the atmosphere felt gripping.
The flame of the moving candle is blown by the wind, the air is so cold because of the rain that never stops. Lightning also struck above the sky, although there was no sound of lightning but lightning was very unpleasant let alone dark clouds enveloping the sky so as to make the morning as if there was no more. Until now Madison did not know what time, she did not know how many days she had been in the house and did not know whether the day had changed or not.
The candle flame is moving more and more due to the wind that enters through the window. Madison moved, suddenly she felt that the safe place in the house was just that room because terrible things always happened outside especially the basement floor which was scary and terrible.
"Where's your dog, Adel?" the question is stale after squeezing the shutters and closing the curtains.
"Wolfy will accompany me when I need to."
"You guys really came from a very different dimension to me. Tell me how long you've been in this house and what's been going on with you?" Madison sat down next to Adel. This was a rare opportunity and he had to make the most of that rare opportunity.
"I don't know, I don't know!" answer Adel.
"What do you mean you don't know?" ask Madison.
"I don't know, everything in this house makes me confused. I don't know anything else when I'm stuck in this house!" answer Adel.
"What happened to you, Adel? Why are you in this house and why are you there sometimes and sometimes you leave? Why are you always on the basement floor when the room is scary!"
"Like you, Madi. I was also filled with sin and I fell so deep that the devil got me and made me his slave. I'm tired, I can't go anywhere and this house, tie me up for good!"
"What's really going on with you, Adel?" now Madison wants to know Adel's past which makes her have to be in that house and trapped in it.
Adel looked at Madison, she seemed reluctant to say what had happened to her and she was reluctant to say the sins she had committed first because of those sins, he actually became a slave of the devil who lived in the haunted house.
"Tell me, what happened to you?" ask Madison who's getting curious.
"I'm an assassin, Madi," Adel looked down while Madison was shocked.
"I'm a murderer, I steal and I kill people who get in my way. I even killed anyone and what I regret the most is, I killed both my parents and my own sister!"
"What?" Madison was shocked to hear Adel's words.
"W-What are you doing, why did you kill your family, Adel?" I don't want to believe it, but someone did.
"I don't remember but I did it without hesitation. I killed them with a laugh, I felt like what I was doing was so much fun that I even felt like it again and again!" adel's facial expression changed, Madison rewinded her body because she was afraid to see Adel's sudden psychopathic facial expression.
"I still remember it, remembering how I killed my mother. I stabbed him in the heart and slit his throat. It feels amazing!" Adel again looks scary even more terrible face than the ghost who chased Madison all this time. Adel's two eyes even glared, he seemed to enjoy every word he said. Madison is getting scared, now not only trapped with a scary demon but she is also trapped with a scary psychopath even though Adel seems unreal.
"I burned them, Madison. I burned them. Ha... Ha.... Oh...!" Adel laughed with satisfaction.
"Therefore I am locked up in that dark and damned basement!" adel shouted and his horrible laughter sounded.
"Ji-If so tell me what happened to this house so I can find a way to get out of this house!" pinta Madison's. He did not want to talk about Adel's past anymore because what he said was very scary.
"There's no way, Madison. I'm just like you, trying to find a way to get out of this godforsaken house so I can avenge them but I can't find a way!" answer Adel.
"There can't be no, Adel. There's gotta be a way, I'm sure of it!"
"Nothing, from the beginning there was no way. You'll rot here with me and we'll both be immortal in this house!" said Adel.
"You're lying, I'm sure there's a way!" Madison couldn't believe it if there wasn't a way.
"I told you there wasn't!" adel's yelling and his screaming scared Madison.
"I've been trying, I've been looking for a way out but I've come back again and again so I'm stuck in this house. Do you think I've been quiet all this time? I've even done a lot of things but it's all in vain!"
"Well, then tell me what happened to this house? Why is this house so creepy and that figure out there?" Madison hugged the arm, to be honest she was very afraid to remember the demon that was chasing her and her fear became more and more because she was with a psychopath who was either still alive or had become a spirit. Everything that happened in the house was difficult for him to believe and Adel's words were either true or not.
"Where do I know, I'm locked up in this house. That's what I know so don't ask too many questions, I can't say too much to you! If you want to know, find out by yourself because I don't have any right to tell you!" answer Adel cynically.
Madison watched Adel with full investigation, suddenly Adel became someone else. He is not like Adel who was timid before even he felt Adel's attitude changed after he told his story which is a psychopath.
No more questions from Madison, he just sat on the side of the room and looked at the rain that did not stop. He'd better not ask too many questions, he better find out for himself. Now he is suspicious of Adel. Lest the woman was a slave assigned to monitor her movements but for what?
The devil doesn't need anything like that, the devil can see anything and he doesn't believe Adel is assigned to watch. Really, really, he was getting a headache from thinking about it let alone everything he was going through whether real or not even he was still thinking if what he was experiencing all this time was just a hallucination solely because of drugs which he consumed. Hopefully he's not crazy, he really hopes that Hana or Jeremy or his other best friend will come looking for him and he hopes that Milo will soon find him so that he stays sane from all the crazy events he's been through.
