The phone that is not on is in your hand. Madison grabbed hold of it and pensively. How long has it been? That question he could not answer at all because he did not know how long he had been in that house.
He also wanted to know why Hana never came looking for him. Is Hana not worried about her situation? Is Hana also like Jeremy who is getting fed up with her? Now he really doesn't have anyone anymore even Milo is lost out of nowhere.
He misses his beloved dog. If Milo gets lost in the woods out of fear, he hopes Milo returns to the house and accompanies him and if Milo finds a way out, he hopes Milo is saved by someone.
Madison sat in front of the window, her eyes fixed on the dark forest. All this time he didn't eat, didn't drink, didn't even sleep. He didn't do it because he didn't feel hungry and thirsty anymore, nor was he sleepy at all. Strangely enough, he was sure that time had stopped, so he did not feel such things anymore.
"Milo," Madison said softly, though all her companions went away from her but her beloved dog would not go. Milo will always be with him but from that day on, he doesn't see Milo anymore. Not knowing what happened, Milo eventually left him.
"What are you thinking?" asked Adel, who was stepping closer and then sat by his side.
"I miss my friends and my beloved dog" Java Madison.
"Your Friends? Do they know you're here?" ask Adel.
"Of course, Adel. It was they who brought me to this house. Those who always gave me support to stop taking those drugs. I wanted to change thanks to the encouragement from them but until now, none of them had come looking for me. Don't they know if I'm trapped in this dark, creepy house?"
"Friends? Hng!" Adel smiled with a cynical expression, Madison looked at him for a moment then she looked back towards the forest.
"Why? Did you have friends too? Did they betray you?" ask Madison.
"Of course I have but they're all just garbage. They hate me so much, they betray me and don't care about me!" answer Adel.
"What's going on, Adel? Did something happen between you and your friends? Madison looked back at him, she wanted to know what Adel was the woman he saw and who had killed so many people? I hope Adel is not suspicious of the question.
"They're the same, Madison. My friends and your friends are the same. They're just good in front of us but behind us?" Adel smiled again with a cynical expression, "They are nothing more than monsters because they hate us without us knowing. They all look good but in fact, they hate us more than we know!" adel said again.
"Is it true?" Madison looked down and was sad. Is what Adel said true?
"If they were your best friend and cared about you, they would have come looking for you and wouldn't have let you be alone in this place but look at your situation? No one cares about you because no one has been looking for you until now. Your friends are not much different from my friends, they are only good in front of you but in fact, they do not care at all. If they cared, they should have come to look for you, especially if you can't be contacted anymore!"
Madison looked down, what Adel said was absolutely true. Without him noticing, tears just trickled down. Jeremy was already clearly showing his dislike the last time they met. Although Erick did not come again at that time but he was sure that Erick was also the same as Jeremy. Hana is indeed the best friend she has but she feels that Hana must be getting bored and away from her like the others.
Tears are slowly removed. He knows why his friends can be so disappointed and hate him. It must be because of the mistakes he made. They must be angry and disappointed because he still brought the cursed medicine when he had intended to recover. Jeremy is disappointed because of that and he believes Hana is starting to be disappointed in him like Jeremy.
"You're right, Adel. They must be disappointed in me and not care about me anymore. All because of the stupidity and mistakes I've made, I'm the one who has let them down so they stay away from me!" Madison tried to smile, all because of the mistakes she made so she couldn't blame anyone. He indeed deserved to be left here and he almost forgot his purpose of coming to that house. He will prove to Adel and his two best friends if he can recover from the influence of drugs. He'll come back and work again and he'll fix his life a lot better.
"They pretend to be disappointed in you, Madison. They pretended to be disappointed but in fact they deliberately left you in this house so that you would die rotting in this house!" said Adel.
"It's not true, what you said is not true. I was wrong, Hana and Jeremy were not wrong. They'll come to look for me later!"
"Ha... Ha.., I want to laugh hearing that," Adel sneered.
"Not everyone is the same, Adel. My friends are not the same as the friends you hate!" said Madison. Although what Adel said was true but he was sure his three best friends were not like that despite the doubt in his heart.
"Don't be a hypocrite, you say that but you're actually deceiving yourself. If they were angry, if they were disappointed but if they were really your best friends they would definitely come to see your situation but what is the evidence, he said, up until now no one has come to know your circumstances even they don't care even if you die rotting in this damned house!"
"They're not like that!" madison said, but her tears flowed back without her wanting.
"No need to cheat ourselves, we both experience the same thing. I used to wish that someone would come to my aid from that dark basement but none of them came. At first I had high hopes for them but I had to swallow the disappointment that no one cared about me. So don't put any hope in your best friend because you'll only get disappointed!"
Madison was silent, everything Adel said was very true. No one's looking for him at all. It seemed like no one had contacted him all this time to find out how he was doing because if anyone did, it would, Hana or Jeremy or Erick will definitely come looking for a phone that can not be contacted anymore. Although he had already disappointed, he was sure they would definitely look but until now, no one had come.
"They don't want me anymore!" Madison hid her face behind her arms. Her cries rang out, Adel rubbed Madi's back to comfort. He knows what it's like because he's already past it.
The phone that was in hand was tightly gripped, now he must not hope anymore if there will be his best friend who came to help him because now he realized that no one cares about him anymore.
