Dark Basements

Madison did not want to waste time, now there was nothing else she could hope for and now she had to stand on her own two feet because she was no longer willing to trouble her best friends anymore. Whatever situation he was in, he had to get through it. Perhaps by fighting his fear, he could forget the thirst he felt towards drugs.

Time seems to travel so fast, the sky looks so dark. There is no sunlight, so the house is quite dark. He had to turn on the electricity as soon as possible, the flashlight he had found accidentally while searching for matches in the kitchen was already in hand.

The keys he found were also taken, Madison was ready to open the door. Hopefully there is nothing strange in there. Before starting, Madison turned on one emergency light as well as several candles. He had to skimp on it because he did not know if he found the existence of the electric generator behind the door he was about to open or not.

A candle that had been lit was already at the door, Milo growled towards the door like the first time they were in the house. The dog looked displeased, Milo's feathers were even seen standing but Madison didn't notice.

"Hey, calm down baby," Milo approached his dog and rubbed Milo's head.

Woof... Woof! Milo barked and went back to growling.

Madi looked at the door, for some reason she hesitated to open it. Milo had shown a hostile attitude from now on and his displeasure was the more he showed. His barking even again sounded accompanied by his growl as if there was something terrifying behind the door.

"What's up, Milo? Is there something you're afraid of? Do you know anything behind that door?" madison asked but Milo only replied with an unhappy bark and growl.

"If you're afraid, hide under the bed. I have to turn on the electricity. You don't like the dark, do you?" She tried to calm her dog. There was no other choice, and there was no prohibition written on the doorstep. Hana did not say if she could not open the door so she thought it was okay to open.

After calming down her dog, Madison retrieves the rusty key. Either the key can open the locks or it is not certain that he should try it. One key was put into the lock but unfortunately failed. Madison tried the other key but the result was the same. Although he tried to open it, but what he did was in vain because there was not a single key that could open the locks.

"Damn!" Madison sat in front of the door, a rusty lock on the floor. Somehow he opened the lock, he became curious about what was behind the door.

Madison sighed but faintly she heard the sound of footsteps. Madi straightened her seat, she tried to put her ears on well and the sound of footsteps came back she heard. Madison even put her ear on the door and the voice came from behind the door she was trying to open. Strange, does anyone live behind that door? No, no one might live there. He checked the back of the house but there was no door.

Curiosity filled his heart. He wanted to know what was behind that door.  No key can open, but he will keep it open. Madison walked away, but not for long because she came back with an axe in hand.

"Don't underestimate me!" madison said, then the ax was swung and hit the first padlock. It wasn't easy but he kept doing it until finally the padlock he hit with the axe opened and fell on the floor. Madison gasps, but a terrible grin is engraved from the darkness of the night without her knowing. The sound of an axe hitting the padlock that locked the door back sounded, Milo was already hiding out of fear. The locks that shackled the door were all open, Madison took a breath.

A terrifying grin was re-engraved on the terrifying creature. Like a seal that had been opened, the door suddenly opened itself but a little so that made Madison surprised. The axe was laid, Madison took the flashlight. So far, he cannot be afraid. He must fight his fear to find an electric generator.

The flashlight is in hand. Before opening the door, Madison gulped down her saliva violently. His hands were even trembling. Honestly he's scared but if he's not looking for an electric generator, he and Milo will be in a dark house all day.

Madison ventured, the door opened slowly. The sound of a heavy door, like never being opened for so long was ear-piercing and even made the book of Romans crumble. Smells are smelled, accompanied by a foul odor that is quite pungent. Madi covered her nose, she even almost vomited due to such a foul smell. Madi turned on the flashlight, a staircase that would bring her down looked.It turned out to be true, the door was connected to the basement. What is really down there?

"Yes, come with us Madi," Madi did not hear the whisper of darkness that was waiting for her arrival.

Madison aimed the flashlight at the very dark basement, the cold blowing from down there. The stench returned. Madi again gulped and dared herself to set one foot on the first rung. All right, it was just an ordinary basement but every time her foot stepped on the stairs, Madi held her breath with her heart racing.

Kritt! The sound of the stairs rang every time Madison stepped on it. Strange, he felt that there were many pairs of eyes that were staring at him.

kriittt's! The sound of the stairs he stepped on again rang, the flashlight moved to the right slowly. Madison's breath was restrained, she was afraid something terrible was down there. Once to the right, then to the left but nothing else let alone the flashlight light is not enough to illuminate the basement which is very dark. Madison's breathing hunts involuntarily, her heart like a drum and even her breathing can be heard. Both of his hands were trembling, as were his feet. The entire body also felt cold because he felt a cold wind blowing from earlier.

"Ma.di.son," Madison's steps came to a halt when she heard someone call her.

Srek...charc..srek! Something sounds down there. Madison backtracked.

Srek. Madison gulped and stepped back. Something was approaching, something was getting closer. With trembling hands, Madi pointed her flashlight in the direction of the sound. Both eyes glared at the sight of the monstrous figure being on the floor and looking at him with a terrifying grin.

"No," Madi stepped back slowly, her eyes still not turning away from that monstrous figure even blood seemed to flow from her mouth which revealed a frightening grin.

"I'm coming, Madi!" said the creature.

"No, you're not real!" madi shouted but she had already stepped back.

"You'll soon be a part of us!  Ha... Ha.. Ha.. Ha!" the creature's chilling laughter filled the dark basement floor.

Madison yelled as she turned her steps as the creature crawled quickly towards her. Scared, he's really scared. Madi was already at the end of the stairs, the door leaf was grabbed because she wanted to close the door but before she did, a flashlight was pointed towards the terrifying black figure who was crawling so fast.

"You can't run, Madison!" yell at the creature.

Madi's breath hunting, chest down up. Her body shook violently as well as both hands and when the creature was close enough, Madi shouted loudly and closed the door tightly.

"Come with us, Madi!" the creature screamed while pushing the door.

Madi stood in front of the door leaf holding the door open so that the creature did not come out but actually, he was deceived because the more he felt afraid, the spirits in the house were more happy because they would get his soul.

"Go, go!" yell Madison.

"What are you afraid of, Madi? Open this door, we'll be together!" now I hear Rian's voice.

"You're dead, Rian. Don't bother me!" pinta Madison's. She was still trying to hold the door, Madison was even looking for something to hold the door.

"I love you, quickly open this door!" rian pinta.

"Shut up, you're not real!" yell Madison. Moments, the atmosphere was silent, only the sound of Madison's breath was hunting. Madison picked up something that was on the floor to hold the door using her feet. The voice of the creature was no longer heard, he felt it was safe.

"Madison, open the door!" this time another shout was heard, accompanied by the door that was struck.

"Huh-Hana!" Madison stepped back. Is the one behind that door really Hana?

"Hurry up, Madi!" Hana screamed back.

Madison didn't budge, she was like confused. Should he open the door?
