The increasingly heavy rain makes the path in the forest become very slippery. The visibility is increasingly minimal due to the thick fog that increasingly envelops the forest makes them have to be careful. Such a situation makes it easy for someone to get lost because of that, Hana and her two best friends are always together and do not split up so that unwanted things happen.
Lighting tools were used so that they could see the team that was in front of them. Hana holds Jeremy's hand tightly due to the slippery, Erick walks behind to keep Hana from falling. They follow a team that will take them to a location where they have already found what they are looking for.
Before following the team, Jeremy had already reported what they found on the basement floor to officers who had just finished evacuating the bones they found behind the house. Surely the officers who got the report moved quickly to see if what Jeremy said was true or not.
"Come here!" someone shouted and moved the flashlight so that the officer who was carrying Hana and his two best friends could see their whereabouts that would lead them to the side of the cliff.
"What did you find?" hana asked the officer who was walking in front of her.
"Both colleagues found someone in that steep spot" the officer replied.
"Is that Madison?" ask Jerry.
"We haven't confirmed it yet because of the difficult terrain to get off the ground."
"Is he still alive?" hana asks, a bad feeling and she hopes that if what they find is really Madison, hopefully she is still alive despite having to experience Hypothermia and some injuries. Had Madison experienced any memory loss, she did not mind that the important Madison was found alive.
"We don't know, Miss. That is why we ask you to come to see if what we find is really your friend or not. If it's true then we'll stop the search and focus on evacuating but if it's not, we'll deploy some to search and some to evacuate."
Hana did not answer anymore, the felling she had said one hundred percent if what was found by the search team was Madison. They had arrived at the side of a very steep cliff, so they could not see down there due to the thick shrubs and thick fog that enveloped.
"One of you must come with us to make sure!" said an officer who was about to go down.
"So deep, how did you find him?" ask Hana.
"Two of our teams downstairs found him so who's coming with us down?"
"Me!" answer Jeremy.
"Just me!" erick.
"No need, Erick. I'm coming down, you go with Hana and take good care of her!"
"alright. Careful, Jeremy!" erick.
"I'll be right back!"
"Follow me now!" said the officer who was waiting.
"Wait here, Hana. I'm going downstairs to make sure so don't take any rash action. I hope it's not Madison, I hope she's tricked us and left this place!" said Jeremy. Although she was disappointed in Madison but she did not want Madison to die in such a horrible way. She'd rather Madison's gone from that place and be just fine somewhere else.
"I hope so too!" said Hana.
"Hurry up!" shouted the officer again.
Hana and Erick wait, while Jeremy goes downstairs to make sure. Four officers are downstairs, they're securing the findings they've got. Jeremy who had gone down immediately was brought closer to four officers who were busy. Jeremy's heart was racing, he even closed his nose.
Jeremy stepped closer and closer, the corpse of a woman was on top of a pile of leaves. Jeremy gulped, hopefully not Madison, hopefully not but when he saw the face that was a little difficult to recognize, Jeremy was surprised.
"Then!" madison's name said, Jeremy fell to his knees because what was found by the officer was really Madison.
"We've found it, stop the search!" another officer gave orders to the others through a walkie talkie
"Immediately prepare for evacuation. Lower a helicopter because the victim is in a deep abyss!" the order was given again.
"Madison, what happened to you? Why did you end up like this?" ask Jeremy. She still can't believe Madison would end up like that.
"I'll take you upstairs and have your two friends wait in the house.we'll let you know if we've evacuated your best friend!"
Jeremy can only nod. He was still in a state of disbelief at what had happened. Hana would definitely be very sad after finding out. Jeremy is again escorted by two officers to go upstairs. Slippery roads make it difficult for them to climb to the top. The rain did not stop, now lightning began to strike with thunder. The fog is getting thicker of course the rescue team will experience obstacles when evacuating.
The struggle to ride is very heavy, when down there are no significant obstacles but to go up, Jeremy has difficulty. Hana's shivering, she can't wait for Jeremy to come back and tell them if what's down there is really Madison or not.
"I hope it's not Madison, I hope not!" said Hana.
"We can only hope, Hana. But it's all been decided."
"I'm sorry, Erick. I regret leaving her who was like that. He doesn't know between hallucinations and real when he's under the influence of drugs and that's why we shouldn't leave him!"
"There's no need to blame yourself, no one knows what's going to happen so it's not your fault!" entertain Erick.
Hana wiped the tears mixed with rain from her face. Although Erick said so but as Madison's best friend, he felt very guilty. Now they can just wait for Jeremy to come back and give them some good news.
They waited long enough for Jeremy to come back upstairs with the two officers who helped him. Hana and Erick immediately approach Jeremy who looks lethargic. Their run came to a halt when they saw Jeremy's facial expression.
"Jeremy, don't say it?" Hana couldn't continue her words.
"How's Jeremy? What's down there Madison? Is she okay?" ask Erick.
"She's gone!" answer Jeremy.
"No.. No," Hana stepped back with tears flowing more and more, "Say if you see wrong?" hana Pinta.
"Sorry, Hannah. She's gone!" jeremy replied with a sad face.
"No, Madison!" Hana shouted out loudly and fell to her knees.
"Then!" Hana screamed loudly again, crying for her best friend. Jeremy and Erick couldn't hold back tears. They did not expect that they would have to lose their best friend who was about to recover from the influence of medicine but that he should leave not because of drugs.
Hana is still crying roaring, Jeremy and Erick hugging her and trying to win Hana over. Their guilt and sadness felt. They should not have taken Madi to that place and left her alone. It should not be, but everything that happens cannot be repaired, especially rice has become porridge.
