The House's

The House's
Need an Opportunity

Chance, that's what Madison needs. He needs a chance to get away from Adel. He needed it because he wanted to go to that dark and scary basement floor. Although he was scared but he was sure he would find an answer in that dark place.

The demon he accidentally unleashed, Adel's appearance from the basement floor. It had everything to do and he was sure he could get something. He is afraid, indeed, really scared and if he had a choice he wouldn't want to go to the basement anymore even though he would have to be confined there for a lifetime but he would have to fight that fear later if he already had occasion.

What made him want to go to the basement floor was not because of the objects that were in the room but the room where the demon was released. He saw that there was another room in the hole. He suspects that there is something in it and he has to find out but how should he avoid Adel who always follows him endlessly?

Adel, as usual, sat by the window. Madison is the same. They both spend such time without saying anything, Madison is looking for an excuse so she can get out without being suspected by Adel and so that Adel does not always follow her.

"Are you hungry, Adel?" ask Madison and that's the stupidest question.

"Why do you ask that? You already know and I don't think we need to go to the kitchen to see her again!"

"Of we just sit still, what if we make something to eat?" maybe he can distract Adel with this.

"Do you want to make food from rotten materials?" ask Adel anyway.

"Come on, we're looking for mushrooms around that forest. There must be some mushrooms!" said Madison.

"Why, Madi? Are you not afraid anymore?" adel asked, who had turned and looked at her with a strange look that Madison did not know and had she seen even that strange smile, she would have never understood.

"I was scared but doing nothing scared me more. I was afraid that the emptiness I felt was making me go crazy quickly because of that, let's do something even though it's dark. Maybe by doing something we can forget the fear we are experiencing and just maybe, we can find a way out to get out of this place!" said Madison. As much as possible he should try to persuade Adel to do what he said because he intended to leave Adel to the forest and return to the house alone so that he could enter the basement floor single-handedly.

Adel looked at her with a suspicious look. He really did not understand why Madison suddenly invited him to look for mushrooms when it was clearly impossible there especially the forest was very scary.

"There are no mushrooms so don't do anything in vain!" reject Adel.

"Some, I'm sure of it. Rain continues to fall without stopping, usually the fungus will grow quickly in the soil and damp wood stems, so we must find it!"

Adel has not answered, he is thinking about Madison. Madi tried to persuade, she needed a chance. Really need a chance.

"Come on, instead of us being in this room and being crazy we better do something fun!"

"Well, but if there's a ghost in the woods, don't ask me for help!" said Adel.

"I hope there aren't!" Madi looked towards the forest and gulped. For the sake of purpose, he had to fight the fear he felt.

"All right, let's go. You bring this lamp and I bring another one!" said Adel.

"Thank you, Adel. I want the two of us to be like friends in general and start doing lots of fun things so we can fight the fear of being in this weird house!"

"Before that happens, I have to make the most of my time because I don't know what will happen to me once that demon gets my soul!"

"All right, let's go find some mushrooms!" said Adel.

"You ready?" Madison smiled, an opportunity she should not waste.

Pelita was taken, they both came out of the room. The other lamps are taken and then lit and after that they come out to look for mushrooms. The forest was completely desolate, there was no sound of forest beasts at all. It seemed that even the night beast was unwilling to approach the house.

Madison and Adel step closer to the forest but Madison turns away for a moment because she suddenly wants to see the house. The house was so dark, it was even like a terrifying monster.

"You look to the right and I look to the left. It doesn't take much and once we get it, we're back!" said Adel.

Madison nodded, spit swallowed with great difficulty. Adel had already stepped away, Madison did the same but she turned away occasionally to look at Adel. Chance, Adel had enough away so this was a chance for him to go back inside the house and go to the basement floor. Madison moved slowly, in order not to be caught by Adel he approached the dark house by sneaking but he did not know if the ghosts who were out there knew what he was doing.

A strong wind blew, white smoke seemed to come out from underground and fly upwards. A thick fog began to gather, becoming a thick wisp of smoke that began to cover over the ground. Madison cursed, again such a thing happened. He looked back at Adel who was looking for mushrooms. So far it's safe so he has to hurry. Madison again moved closer to home, a little more she arrived. Suddenly his heart was pounding as one of his feet stepped on the first rung of stairs. Still safe, but he no longer looked at Adel, so he did not know whether Adel was still in the forest looking for mushrooms or not.

After passing the first stairs, Madison felt that if she had succeeded, she ran to the door to enter.

"You did it, Madison!" he said to himself. Both hands were already on the door leaf, he was about to go inside but somehow suddenly the door could not be opened. Madison pushed back but what she did was in vain. The door suddenly became heavy like dozens of rocks were holding it.

"Damn it, what happened to this shitty door!" Madison was still trying to push hard but her efforts were in vain because the door was so heavy and it seemed like the house knew what to do and she felt the house was not allowing her to leave wherever.

"Damn, why is it so hard to open it?" Madison was very upset and continued to push the door that suddenly no bus opened it.

"Where are you going, Madison?" adel's questions surprised Madison. Madi turned and was surprised that Adel was already behind her.

"Where are you going? Why did you leave me?" ask Adel again.

"Mi-Mi's stingy oil is running out" Madison lied.

"really?" Adel looked in disbelief.

"I-I'm not lying!" answer Madison.

"Alright, this is the mushroom you want!" Adel put down the mushrooms he got and then stepped past Madison.

Madison is silent but she is shocked when Adel pushes the door leaf with one hand and opens it easily. Madison's mouth was open, very good. That damned house was completely toying with him.
