The Relief III

Voran and the troops arrived at the border area just as the sun had already passed through the head. He and Valaunter heard the sound of the iron clashing sounding so loud. Started by Gris Hainz and Harte Braun, Voran was in the middle of the line.

“It looks like the battle is ongoing. Does the enemy have high capabilities and trouble our troops?” ask Voran. He was so straightforward in asking and used an urgent tone.

Valaunter who got the question just smiled slightly as he said, “It is not certain, Your Majesty. We don't know who's leading them. The Kingdom of Edarecia had some great leading Generals. If they were to lead the troops, then the battle would become much more difficult.”

“That's it? The coalition doesn't guarantee we'll succeed, does it? Uniting three forces that have different desires for one purpose is not easy. If one loses his wits and abides by his wishes, the coalition could be destroyed at any time,” Voran said with a deep tone and a serious look.

Valaunter glanced at Voran and said, “That's what worries me, Your Majesty. When I heard about this coalition, my mind wandered wildly. Who knows the mind of every human being, Your Majesty? No one knows that and the will of every human being. So, there is only one way for us to survive, which is to be vigilant and careful.”

Voran looked at him deeply and thought of Valaunter's speech that sounded so reasonable. Then, he sighed softly, “Huh ... Yes, trusting them is not a good choice, but not trusting them is also not a wise choice. Our position should be in the middle. It's better to be gray than white or black, so is Valaunter?”

Valaunter appreciated Voran's words by showing a warm smile when he heard that. Then he said, “Ya, right Your Majesty. We are now entering a deeper and more difficult war. I have only joined the Salauster Kingdom in a short period of time. But, the lives of the residents I protect are closely tied to the Kingdom of Salauster.”

“So, I have to say this, Your Majesty. The Kingdom of Edarecia is not the same as the Kingdom of Arannor that you have defeated. This kingdom was much more dangerous and powerful compared to the kingdoms in the Northern Region. This is just my estimation, the troops we face at the border are only part of the power of the Kingdom of Edarecia,” explained Valaunter.

Voran nodded in understanding of Valaunter's words. “Yes, we can only fight to defend the kingdom territory and make them pay the price for provoking the three kingdoms. It must be hard, but I'm sure we can make them pay the expensive price.”

The troops moved swiftly into the middle of the Star Hills, the current location of the battle. No one spoke as they approached the area. Everyone listens to voices that are enough to make the heart shudder.

Such heart-wrenching groans and howls of pain rang out from the airy area in the middle of the Star Hills. The voices shook the hearts of every soldier. There were also cries filled with anger and killing intent.

Voran witnessed a brutal and gruesome battle in the field. Tens of thousands of soldiers collided with each other. Blood splashed across the sky and soaked the ground. The sound of continuous iron collisions sounded as if mutually authenticating.

“They are really violent and unforgiving. The Qi flow here is too dense. I saw there were some pretty flashy fights there. Who are they?” voran asked as he rode down the hill towards the field area of the battle site.

Valaunter heard it intently and it seemed that his expression changed when he saw those fights. “Wallace Krom, Gregor Leon, and Crock. They fought so fiercely. Your Majesty, they are the famous Generals of each kingdom.”

Voran nodded in digesting Valaunter's words. Then he asked again, “Wallace Krom, Gregor Leon, Crock, who are these guys? The general? Sure enough, I do feel they are strong, but are they really Generals?”

“Is that? Well it doesn't matter if they do have that position. I won't deny it. The strength they showed was quite intimidating and quite high,” replied Voran without pausing the Valaunter.

Then, Voran saw Veus and his troops fighting on different sides and pressing one side of the enemy formation. Voran immediately gave the order, “Valaunter, immediately send troops to help Veus and the others. We must suppress the enemy and turn off their wiggle room!”

Without lingering or asking, the Valaunter immediately executed the plan by sending troops to Veus' side and assisting him. The Valaunter also rushed into the battle after Voran gave the order.

Voran did not act but observed the situation and he was protected by elite soldiers and two men he recruited from the talent search. Voran stared at the entire roomy area curiously and also observed it.

From a distance, Voran saw the movements of the Valaunter directly piercing into the enemy formation along with the soldiers. At a glance, Voran could feel the change on the side of his army. When his gaze was fixed on Veus, Voran felt a sense of relief in Veus' body gesture.

However, all of those things only existed for a short period of time as Voran suddenly felt an extremely powerful and terrifying burst of aura. The aura that made his knees tremble and weaken. The pressure that the figure put out was too intense and this kind of emphasis was the first thing for him.

Voran's eyes were fixed in one direction. There was a man floating in the air and descending right between Veus and Valaunter. The figure released a terrifying aura and attracted everyone's attention.

“He is very dangerous. Even though I was far away from him, I could feel this pressure. How amazing that guy is!” voran.

His feelings became erratic when he saw a middle-aged man dressed not so neatly but emitting an extremely dangerous aura. The man was in the middle of the army and stopped the fight there.

Voran could only watch Larsson and Valaunter and Veus divert all their actions and focus on the figure.

When Voran saw the incident, his feelings became bad. At first glance he sensed that the strength of the figure was far above the rest. The figure looked like a sleeping ancient beast while waiting for its prey to approach.

“The pressure doesn't feel like before. He did not fade his aura but rather made the aura fuse with his body. I could also feel streams of Qi flowing all over his body quietly but very strongly. Who exactly is that guy?” voran asked as he stared from a distance.

After a while Voran looked at him, he decided to get into the battle. Voran released his aura so that the Cultivators could find his whereabouts.
