The sound was not as loud as before. When he heard it again he immediately Westian led the remaining Cultivators in the Royal Hall towards the battlefield.
Although their distance was not too far away, Westian did not move slowly unless he ran quickly towards the defensive wall.
From a distance, Westian could see how the situation on the battlefield was. The head was thrown from the wall, the falling body was scattered from up there, and blood was splashing in all directions.
All of it gave a sense of oppression for those they had never felt.
The soldiers fight madly, they survive and try not to mess up the whole situation.
“I didn't expect them to go that far. They fought like they slaughtered animals. There was no fear in every face of the soldiers. They are not afraid of death. What really happened to them? How could they be this brave?”
Westian was so shocked as he watched his enemies fight ferociously as if it was a blessing.
There is no fear in any of their actions, and they keep attacking even if they lose a hand or a leg.
As long as they did not die, they continued to fight and kill as many of the opposing soldiers as possible.
All of this happened for a reason.
Some time ago, before the attack began, Voran gave a speech to his troops.
Just before they attacked. Voran said, “This moment will be history. The starting point of everything. You will be the early movers for the kingdom.”
“This war will be the first conquest for the kingdom and this achievement will continue to be remembered all the time. Your success will be remembered and not forgotten. The death you will face is a glory that no one else will be able to get.”
The longer he spoke, the more raucous and emotional his voice became, making anyone who heard him affected by his words.
“Most people die in bed! Die on a woman's body! Dead full of food! However, you guys are much more noble than them!!” his yell.
“You died fighting for glory and victory on a fierce battlefield.” Slowly his voice slowed down and became solemn when he said this and his face was full of respect.
“Fight!! Fight on!! Kill them all!! Even if you no longer have hands, bite them!! Attack!!” Voran ended it with a roar that shook the sky.
Voran sent them with gusto and he sat quietly on his horse while staring at the wall and his army attacking the wall.
Voran observed his soldiers fighting quietly. He was undisturbed when some of them were killed while trying to reach the top of the wall. Voran didn't let the wave of attacks end just like that.
“Sian, Hainz, you two .. go up there and make a performance. Your presence will be the differentiator,” Voran commands on both his bodyguards.
“They can't survive with the addition of warriors alone. It takes a reliable figure. Merran's swasters were badly wounded by that war and the others, they weren't very good. As for the Cultivators on our side, they will be another card. So, you two are the ones I can count on right now.”
“Go and show your ability!” exclaim Voran.
Voran ordered the two of them to fight on the wall and provide assistance to the soldiers fighting there. He could imagine as hard and as hard as what the fight was up there.
It felt like he immediately rushed into the battlefield that was happening above the wall. However, he waited for them to open the gate while continuing to send out another wave of attacks.
The reflection of sunlight reflected in all directions from his sword blade. There were still many soldiers around him and Veus did not change his formation even for a moment.
They formed a 6-column lined formation that exerted great pressure on the enemy soldiers.
“This sword has asked for blood and they are ahead there. I don't know if this is just an ordinary sword or not. Well ... for now this is much better than I use my bare hands.” He lowered his sword and put it back into its sheath. “Nothing I need to worry about apart from my heart's determination alone.”
When Voran saw such a fierce and bloody battle, he scrunched his forehead.
Although this was the second time, still, this sort of thing was still new to him and not something that could be quickly gotten used to.
However, when he recalled the situation, he knew that he had to get used to this kind of thing.
“Their reinforcements arrived! Not only do they have high cultivation, they are also well-capable.”
“Their presence increases the fighting spirit of the soldiers and this is quite detrimental for us. No problem, my army won't be that weak and I still have another hidden card.”
After saying so, Voran approached Veus calmly. He rode slowly. They needed to send the rest of the nobles who were still in his army.
No matter if they were injured or not, as long as they could still stand up, they should be sent there. He said that to Veus.
However, he excluded the severely injured Swaster Merran and was probably on the verge of his death.
When he thought about the situation faced by Swaster Merran, suddenly an idea came to his mind.
A way to keep him alive and harness his talents, but also destroy what is around him.
For a moment it seeped into his mind and soon he refocused on what was in front of him.
“Your Majesty, it would be a loss if we send them there. What is, we will instead be harmed by threshing them there.” Veus did not particularly approve of the move Voran took.
“What our troops need there is fresh and strong energy. However, if Your Majesty insists on sending them, my suggestion -“ Veus restrained him and observed the entire situation on the battlefield.
After a few seconds, he continued. “We can send him in there after the gate opens, Your Majesty. We sacrifice them to keep the gate open for as long as possible until the whole army gets in there!”
Voran thought of the plan. What he expected was only death for them because it was his goal from the very beginning to bring them to the battlefield.
Maybe this will be a loss. But it is only a loss for the short term, not the long term.
Voran still allowed nobility in his kingdom because it was a continuity with the existence of a kingdom. However, he had his own criteria in seeing and allowing it.
“Not bad. Much better than sending them straight to the wall! All right, I'll leave the whole squad arrangement to you, my marshal! I trust your strength and abilities.” Voran agreed to it and a small smile appeared on his face.
“Make them afraid of your name and of course my name. Let the world know that Salauster Vande Voran is not just a boy. Right now, only you have the highest cultivation in the army. I hope you know that, Veus!”
Voran reminds Veus that he is currently the strongest in his army given Larsson's equally important task as the current offensive. Voran gazed towards the battle and he saw ki slashing out from every corpse. That's when he smiled.
