The Heaven World's
The Kingdom of Arannor I

That night was an important night for Voran. The battle he had just been through still left a strong adrenaline rush in his mind. This first experience gave her confidence which made her feel calmer than before.

Now, after a few days of resting and purifying the Qi that roamed within his body. His aura became stronger and lived differently to his aura a while ago.

Voran decided to set out to attack the Kingdom of Arannor after resting his soldiers for a few days. The doubt he had had disappeared, even his confidence had increased tremendously.

Moreover, his confidence grew after receiving some information related to the Kingdom of Arannor from his captives.

The soldiers made preparations after receiving the order. They prepare everything in high speed.

Two of Voran's valuable captives could not leave, so he handed them both to Larsson.

No one had the ability to restrain the two of them should they make any unexpected moves, except for Larsson.

The troops passed through an empty plain. On the plain there are only small grasses and rocks of various sizes.

The vast expanse of grass gives coolness to the eye that looks at it, with no trees in the way. The view on the ground is so beautiful.

With a wide viewing distance, they are able to move at high speeds. In just a blink of an eye they found a small forest. An area filled with dark green and dark brown, inversely proportional to the previous square.

Once they were near that small forest. Voran lowered his speed and asked the troops to increase his alertness.

Be on the lookout for unexpected attacks while passing through this small forest. Large numbers will not always be profitable, especially with this kind of terrain.

An ambush could have occurred and supported by narrow terrain and dense trees, such an attack would have a terrible impact and be able to disrupt the entire situation and favorable circumstances that Voran has today.

“Griss Hainz, Werder Sian, why are you here?”

Voran looked at the two men wearing full armour riding right beside him like a bodyguard.

Although they were both his bodyguards, Voran had given them a certain task, which was to lead the troops. By the time Voran saw the two of them approaching him, he wondered.

Griss Hainz calmly rode beside him. “I'm sorry, Your Honor. We left the position we should have held. We just want to protect His Majesty. When we saw that His Majesty had no capable bodyguards. We feel the need to be around His Majesty until we pass through this forest.”

“It has been our duty to protect Your Majesty!” Werder Sian clearly said that.

With a large body Werder Siar is able to intimidate anyone who sees it. It was not easy to look directly at him because of his large body and sharp eyes. He straightened his back after that.

Voran no longer questioned their presence after he heard both of them answer.

Yes, a place like a forest with narrow lanes and filled with trees is a good ambush location.

With the escort of the two of them, Voran would be in a safer and more awake position. Even if he is alone, he is still capable. However, with more control, his safety is a little more assured.

The vigilance of the soldiers increased sharply once they were inside the forest and they took a full standby stance. They raised their shields and walked in adjacent positions.

The narrow path they had to cross gave off a feeling of great danger and made them tense up. The relaxed attitude they had previously had now disappeared completely and was replaced with a serious facial expression and full tension.

The soldiers felt that the journey through the narrow path felt so long, even though they passed through the place quite quickly.

After passing through the place, they found several villages.

There was no order that Voran issued against those villages. There was no intention of slaughtering them. However, Voran asked some of the soldiers to seek information from the villages.

“We are close to their capital.”

“We should conquer their territory one by one, instead of attacking directly like this. However, it will take a long time and losses will increase on our side.”

“Better go straight to the Capital and attack them. As long as we manage to kill their King, victory is certain we get.” Voran said it as soon as he saw a towering wall with a gate that opened wide enough.

By leading his troops straight towards the capital of the enemy Kingdom instead of into their territory one after another. Voran thinks the chances of destroying the enemy will be higher than attacking the enemy from one region to another.

Moreover, if he won the victory then they could annex the territory that belonged to the Kingdom of Arannor at a later time.

Voran was in front of all his soldiers along with Veus and was seen leading the attack.

Sitting on a horse, Voran stared at the walls and gates protecting the capital of the enemy kingdom. Then he turned and saw his army.

Honey, they haven't been able to jump over a wall that high. Only those who had sufficiently high cultivation could do so.

“Take it easy, Your Majesty. I had already predicted this situation and a few days ago we had already started making siege ladders. This equipment may not be enough to break through their defenses.”

“However, we lack mechanics to make siege tools. Moreover, they would definitely not remain silent within the walls as long as they had sufficient troops!” Richard Veus analyzed what was in front of his eyes and the soldiers also prepared to take the stairs to the wall.

Voran listened to him with an uncertain look on his face. Breaking through a defensive wall is not easy, even very difficult. It depends on how strong the wall is. Even though they have siege tools, they do not necessarily intend to destroy it.

Voran looked at the defensive wall before his eyes very closely and tried to look for any gaps or weakest parts.

Although his cultivation was already quite high, Voran did not have the ability to leap over that several meter high wall. Only those who had already passed stage 2-0 had such abilities.

His expression was calm and the look in his eyes did not shrink when faced with this kind of situation. Voran would rather find a way to break this barrier in front of him, than let other emotions affect him.

“We need to send the best soldiers. To damage the defense of that wall, we need warriors with the highest cultivation and have capable abilities.” Voran looked at the structure of the defensive wall and considered what was up there.

“I'm sure they must have found our whereabouts. Prepare everything and do it as quickly as possible, Veus.” He did not rule out the ability of the opponent. Of course with a move of this magnitude they would find it.

“Do not procrastinate. The longer we wait, the stronger they are, and surprise attacks will have no impact!”

Voran handed everything to Veus, preparing himself for some things as he would lead the entire army and engage in battle on the wall. Once everything had been prepared, they immediately made their move.

The tightly closed gate left a bad feeling. With bells ringing in the city, warning sounds began to appear and archer figures were immediately visible above the walls.

It appeared that someone gave the archers the order to fire their arrows and the result of the attack killed quite a number of soldiers.

The harbour of war drums just happened and the trumpet was heard making the situation more tense and hot.

Voran and his army were right in front of the Royal Capital of Arannor which was protected by a formidable wall with a height of dozens of meters.

The towering wall was domineering and exerted an insane pressure on its soldiers. Voran paid no heed to what his soldiers were thinking as they watched how powerful the opponent's defense was. He had calculated this matter from the very beginning.

“Server them!” cry Voran when ordering the soldiers to penetrate the opponent's defense.
