Joining the Valaunter

 

A select Valaunter was slightly tempted by the promise Voran gave. Who would not be tempted by such a promise? The position of Governor-General is not a small position.

Unfortunately, he had not been able to accept it for one reason namely, he lost the battle and the defeat he suffered greatly hurt his pride. Although he knew if the defeat he got the result of his carelessness.

Besides, he could not accept the defeat which made him reject the offer Voran gave.

That defeat and the offer Voran made kept swirling around in his mind and bothering him.

However, he saw no loss if he accepted the offer Voran gave. The position of the Governor of the Region must have great power and also the power will be in his hands.

A fleeting Valaunter thought about all of that in just a matter of seconds. Although his body was deteriorating, his mind became increasingly sharp. He knew that being in the same boat as Voran would give him a lot of benefits and now he has decided.

“Are you not kidding when giving a high position to your already defeated and weak opponent?” ask her with a sharp and bloody voice.

 After meeting and talking to him several times, Voran felt that the Select Valaunter resembled the fearsome and resourceful Grim Larsson.

Every word Voran spoke sounded convincing and serious. He showed his decisiveness and was strong when talking to the Select Valaunter. His attitude in such a way he showed because he did not want Selek Valaunter to stick to his stance.

The situation in the kingdom will become more complicated and problems will often arise when Voran melts ice in the minds of the Select Valaunter. So, at all times he always maintained his cold and fierce attitude.

After waiting for a while, the gaze of the Selek Valaunter's eyes loosened and a certain firmness began to be seen in his eyes. He said a few things in a quiet voice, “Alright, I will follow you and swear allegiance to you as well as the Kingdom of Salauster.”

“However, I hope you know this. If you make ordinary people miserable then in that moment I will break my oath and make your Kingdom suffer more! You must remember that carefully, my lord!” The Valaunter immediately connected his words with the threat.

Although Selek Valaunter accepted it, there were still some things that became his bottom line. As long as it does not cross his bottom line, he will remain faithful.

In addition, Selek Valaunter also thought about the condition of the people of the Kingdom of Arannor where they must wait for a certainty, especially the residents of Aran Province.

 

“Your decision is not wrong, Valaunter. You can calm down, I will not harm the residents,” said Voran gave his promise.

“Unfortunately, my wish is not in line with the current situation of the kingdom. We are facing a critical problem,” continued Voran.

As soon as those words came out, the Select Valaunter immediately looked at Voran with a questionable gaze. He didn't know what was going on out there so he didn't know what to react to when he heard this.

Select Valaunter could only stare blankly at Voran while asking, “What happened?”
