Initial Meeting

Richard Veus put one of his hands on his chest and stepped forward one step before saying, “War a few days ago has made us aware of the weakness of the kingdom's military strength. War itself is not an attack, but a defense in which we defend the border area. We can't win, but we can't say we lost either. All because we managed to defend the border area. However, the victim on our side is not a bit. This is what makes me call this war a defeat.”

Voran looked at Veus calmly, he also saw some men wearing military uniforms inside the hall.

There are two factions at the moment, the military and the civilian. The two factions were clearly visible without needing to be observed too deeply.

The military was led by Richard Veus, while the civilian side was commanded by Bernan Fasuk. One of the pillars of the kingdom as well. He had served for the kingdom in about the same time as Richard Veus.

“The sacrifice of war must be there, General Veus. We cannot call that a form of defeat. Those who have sacrificed to defend the kingdom cannot be ignored or ridiculed. The losses suffered by the military are not much better than civilians.”

The Kingdom of Salauster was at one of the star points present in the Outer Domain. The kingdom of Salauster itself controlled six regions with a total area of 20,000 km.

The star point where the Kingdom of Salauster was located was called the Suveral World.

This star point was one of the many star points in the Outer Domain. Voran recalls six regions, each of which has a different area. However, on each side of the territory was the territory controlled by another Kingdom, a Lord, even a bandit was capable of becoming a leader.

The Suveral world itself is very chaotic with many kingdoms of various sizes. The inhabitants of the Suveral World were made up of the human race.

“With borders that are difficult to maintain. I need to upgrade the military and focus on the military first. But, I also cannot leave the government or civilian side especially in terms of developing. On this side, I need someone I can trust completely and have the ability to manage good governance.”

Voran kept thinking as the two pillars were debating their opinions and views. Voran did let it go and he also wanted to see how the other officials would react when they saw the two Royal Pillars arguing with each other.

The topic they are discussing is not bad even very good because it will bring a new view. Voran himself listened to it.

Richard Veus was disappointed with the defeat and wanted to improve it from various sides in the military. Meanwhile, Bernan Fasuk wants to focus all the energy of the kingdom to build a better order and develop all kinds of infrastructure.

The two leaned more towards the side they were good at, and Voran who listened to him couldn't help but feel that his work would be overwhelming and strenuous.

Bandits, other Kingdoms, as well as Lords or nobles who raised their flags posed a threat as well as a danger to the Salauster Kingdom. Voran spoke in a deep and serious voice. He actually made the atmosphere in the Royal Hall go silent for a moment and only his voice could be heard by the officials. Voran revealed what he had been thinking from the start.
