Chapter 8. Stories of the Past

Xana went to school as usual, although she was still injured but not too serious. Soon Xana's final semester exam must prepare her carefully in order to become the 'First Rank'.

"Huhhhf after a long time I did not continue in education, I can finally repeat it in this life" Xana murmured in her heart, she was very happy for the second life that had been given to her.

"Where's Ellena?" xana asked herself, unlike usual the girl did not show up.

So did Dony and Robert they directed all of Cullen's men to search for his master.

"Uhukkus! Uhukkl!" the figure of a handsome man was chained with a standing body position, almost for hours he was left like that to make his whole body very sick but he has a strong endurance so that it can still survive until this second.

'Brukkk!'

A slap floated into his handsome face,

One bucket of water splashed onto the person for him to come to his senses from his stupor, slowly the man opened his eyes and looked at the entire room which was slightly dark yet there were many figures looking at him sharply.

"Do you enjoy the water I gave Mr. Cullen?" ask the figure who was sitting in the chair, of course, he was the boss of the people who looked at him savagely. As if to prey on him alive, the handsome man is either Boss Cullen or Mr. Mafia the owner of the black market who controls the strongest men there is.

However he has been captured by the number one assassin 'Flind Flower' who conspires with Metty as well as Cullen's own nemesis who seeks to take on the entire black market.

Actually not only because of that, but there is also a grudge hidden behind it.

"Why don't you answer me Cullen? Have you admitted defeat?" the man asked, Cullen grinned and then he laughed out loud in a horrible tone.

"Hahahahahaaa.." for the first time. Everyone was stunned and shuddered in horror even though Cullen had been chained but still his killing intent was as if piercing those who witnessed it.

"Boss Daniel what if we skin him now?" flind Flower said impatiently, he continued to hold his poisonous dagger which would be the first tool to torture Cullen.

"Daniel Amartha hehhh you still remember the past yahh, hehh very funny! But unfortunately it was your own fault!!" sahut Cullen with a firm tone full of emphasis at the end of his speech.

The face of the man named Daniel Amartha was reddish red withholding anger, when it comes to the past somehow his heart ached and his emotions peaked. Though earlier he just wanted to provoke Cullen's emotions to feel guilty about what had happened.

'Brukkk!

"That bastard's Cullen!" daniel Amartha shouted while hitting hard on Cullen's face until the corner of his lips bled.

Cullen only looked calm while smiling faintly,

"Do you refuse to forget?! Daniel Amartha!" cullen said with great emphasis.

5 Years ago, when Cullen was 20.

"Megiiiiiiiiiii do you know Cullen has returned from abroad!" yelled Daniel hysterically with his ridiculous manner he danced around Megi.

Cullen, Megi and Daniel were childhood friends. But with a different attitude, Cullen is the type of man cool, smart and memorable. Then Megi type women are soft, loving and smart to cook. While Daniel is a handsome man with a silly attitude but loving and jolly.

They are united into friends in high family status, from childhood to adulthood.

But unfortunately the fateful incident befell their friendly relationship which is the cause of the breakdown of relationships built from childhood to adulthood.

"What right?" megi asked to make sure with a blushing face, his heart beamed to hear the person he loved the most finally came back again after a long time apart.

"Yeah Megi, but..why is your face flushed do you hurt?" daniel asked plainly while checking Megi's forehead

"Your body temperature is normal" Daniel said again

Megi blushed in embarrassment and quickly hit Daniel's teasing hand

"I'm okay! Let's hurry to the airport to greet him!!" invite Megi enthusiastically make Daniel feel a little jealous and envious of Megi's behavior that looks very happy.

"Hemm well." said little Daniel.

"Heyy please don't put on a face like that later Cullen doesn't like it!" megi said as he pinched Daniel's cheek, and spontaneously the pinch returned Daniel's spirit again

"Alright ayoo!" he said excitedly as he grasped Megi's fingers and carried her running.

As Megi and Daniel wait for Cullen, Megi's heart is in turmoil as his heart rate exceeds the normal speed of a human heartbeat.

"What happened to me? Why am I so nervous to meet Cullen" Megi muttered inwardly.

Then a tall figure came out from inside the plane, the figure of the man looked very dignified and his aura was so alluring. Makes Megi see it without blinking,

"Cullen.." said Megi slowly unconsciously.
