Chapter 41. White Room

A man blinked his eyes a few times until his eyes were clear again,

"Mr Cullen" called Dony worried about his boss

"Has Xana been found?" cullen asked as he looked at every corner of the room looking for the figure of the woman

"Pardon us sir, Miss Xana is still nowhere to be found" Dony said in a guilty manner.

"What really happened?" dony asked curiously, Cullen holding his chest which was still painful.

"Xana disappeared when I bought water nearby" Cullen said briefly

"I think this has something to do with what happened this morning" Cullen said

"What happened sir?" ask Dony again

"So morning I went to the Antonium mansion, Robert asked me to go there but it turned out to be a trap. Robert died because of a bomb planted in him by someone, you know that guy turned out to be with Morvin. They plan to destroy my power in the dark market" Cullen explained

"Morvin??" muttered Dony softly

"What Miss Xana's disappearance is concerned with is all this" Dony guessed

"Yes! I think so.." said Cullen coldly

"But why did you get hurt?" asked Dony again with concern

"I was hit by a blast wave but it wasn't so fatal.." Cullen's words stopped briefly making Dony curious.

"Maybe I was exposed to something like an odorless, colorless poisonous gas" Cullen said.

'Will his boss die because the poison is terrible'

Thought Dony who looks very anxious about the state of the boss that he has considered like his own brother.

"Maybe it's a kind of carbon monoxide" Cullen said, shortly after a doctor came to the two men,

"How long am I going to do therapy?" ask Cullen

"Maybe it will take three months or more, depending on the condition and endurance" said the doctor

"Dony before I recover, please find Xana and tell me every detail of what happens next. And don't tell anyone my condition!" cullen said for the first time that Cullen had said please to someone,

"Okay, my master will look for Miss Xana at all costs" said Dony, who looked teary, as if they would be separated for good.

The room was heavily guarded and Cullen was on the top floor of the hospital, only he himself occupied the room. Cullen's men stood guard from outside the door to the side of the stairs, 10 people stood guard on the floor and the doctor who treated Cullen was a trusted personal doctor at the hospital.

Slowly Cullen placed an oxygen hose and placed in a special room.

This therapy is done by giving pure oxygen in a high-pressure room. In the room, the air pressure will be added 3-4 times higher than normal air pressure. This method can deliver more oxygen into the body's tissues.

On the other hand, Xana was lying in a plain white room. Not knowing what had happened he only remembered if there were five unknown men taking him in the car and drugging him, Xana held his head which still felt heavy.

"Where am I?" his murmured inwardly while looking around, his body felt weak and powerless.

"Why do I feel so tired." murmured Xana softly suddenly the door of the room opened slowly and saw two men aged 30 years and over approaching her.

"Wahh the princess is conscious." said one of the men, Xana squinted her eyes trying to recognize the man but who she saw was like a shadow without a look.

"Why me? Is this the effect of drugs?" xana said softly and sounded weak

"Yes! That's right, I didn't expect Cullen to get this smart woman" he said in a triumphant tone of voice.

One of the men laughed and the sound of laughter sounded so familiar in Xana's ear, Xana slowly focused her eyes and sure enough the man was the person she knew best.

"Sister Morvin.." - Xana softly.
