Chapter 23. An Answer

Xana sits opposite Cullen, eating together in a caffe that has become Xana's favorite place.

"Xana I want to propose to you, are you really willing to marry me?" cullen's question made Xana speechless in disbelief, because Cullen's decision was too soon.

"Don't think too far I might accept you, but for marriage we can talk about it later." said Xana did not want to give hope even though she had accepted that Cullen was engaged to her.

"Alright if it wants you" said Cullen

"What are your plans for our engagement?" asked Cullen again to make Xana was not out of thought with the man in front of her who for her was quite urgent.

"Suend to you" Xana replied briefly

"Do you agree if I throw a party at the mansion for our engagement?" ask Cullen

"Alright but not too many people" said Xana resigned.

"Yes it's okay to just get engaged instead of getting married" Xana muttered in her heart, somehow she still didn't know Cullen too well even though Cullen was really nice to her. That still makes Xana not easy to believe,

"I once believed in someone, but he betrayed me." xana murmured again in her heart was eager to believe but the fear of the past made Xana traumatized by trust and not easy to put trust in anyone.

"Xana do you still not trust me?" cullen asked as if he had guessed Xana's heart, but Xana just kept quiet and kept her eyes away from Cullen so that Xana's mind was not easy to read.

But the look on Xana's face seemed to have given an answer,

"I'm not forcing you to believe" Cullen said

"But I will try to win your trust" Cullen continued

If I may honestly want Xana to believe but her heart is afraid of getting hurt again,

"If someone has disappointed you in the past, that doesn't mean you can't trust anyone in the future. Because if you always think you're afraid of getting hurt, when will you be happy?" cullen's words of wisdom made Xana laugh her little made.

"I felt like I was struck by lightning in the morning" Xana said as she continued to laugh,

"It's the first time I've seen you laugh like this" Cullen said

"Don't make me out of the mood" said Xana as she continued eating and Cullen just smiled faintly.

Dimansion Cullen, Dony is still digging information from Metty that seems to be open to him.

"Well, Metty, maybe Mr. Cullen will forgive yourself for saving her" Dony said, rising from his seat

"Where are you going?" ask Metty

"I'll pick up Mr. Cullen and Miss Xana." Dony said briefly

"Can I come?" ask Metty

"Why do you have to come?" ask Dony

"I just want to take a look" said Metty, acting like a child

"Do you also have a dual personality?" ask Dony ketus

"Ck you this! Can't be joked!" grouse Metty

"I'm coming with yaa yaaa!" pinta Metty

"Huhh well." said Dony briefly then he brought Metty to pick up Cullen with Xana.

Arriving at the cafe Dony quickly approached Cullen who had finished eating with Xana.

"Whatever.." said Xana briefly

"Do you want to go home or to the Mall?" ask Cullen

"Just go home." said Xana briefly because too long outside makes her uncomfortable but also he had to investigate something.

As they walked towards the parked car, Xana saw a woman sitting in the back.

"Why is he coming!" grunts Xana in heart

"Hyy Xana" said Metty was friendly because he was looking for a face against Cullen, Xana just ignored Metty alone he was lazy to be friends with what else is unclear woman like Metty.

"Do you want to go in or not?" cullen asked as he looked at Xana's lazy face, Xana did not answer Cullen's question and went straight into the car she was sitting next to Metty.

"Metty you're out!" cullen's orders

"Huh why?" ask Metty

"I'll sit there!" cullen said briefly and Metty was forced to go out and sit next to Dony.

Highlight Cullen's eyes look sharp at Dony for carrying Metty without telling himself.

"Road!" cullen's orders, Dony without much question immediately gassed and went home to the mansion.

A few hours later after they reached the mansion, Xana got out of the car but was taken by Cullen so that Cullen's men were stunned as well as their Cullen maid was happy.

"It looks like we're really going to have a big mistress" said one of the aides

"Don't like this you're getting people's attention too much" Xana said as she tried to shake her grip off Cullen

"Well, when are you going to college?" ask Cullen

"Next week." said Xana briefly

"All right.." said Cullen briefly.

Metty who was following them from behind just kept quiet,

"Why am I here like an invisible person." said Metty in his heart.

After Xana enters her room, Cullen orders Dony to have Metty taken to his study.

At work Cullen Dony and Metty sat face to face,

"You'll let me go, please get out of here!" cullen's orders stunned Metty

"Why?" ask Metty

"The color you're not Antonium's killer then I'll forgive you, and you've saved me at a critical moment" Cullen said

"Go away.I will prepare your needs and you must live a better life! Don't go into the black world again!" lenjut Cullen without them noticing Xana was eavesdropping on the doorway,

"It turned out.." muttered Xana inwardly, then Xana left the place and went back into her room.

"I didn't think Cullen was involved in the black world, and the girl was. Hmm is the Alvano family also involved?" xana thought it was getting interesting.
