Chapter 25. Understood Wrong!

A man was holding his woman who was sound asleep because of fatigue after crying and spilling his anger in the flower garden, seen the woman's eyes moist and her nose slightly red.

The man slowly laid the woman's body on the mattress gently so she wouldn't wake up, then the man kissed the woman's forehead and left her alone.

"Mr Cullen forgive us." said Cullen's men who had been careless to look after Daniel

"How did Daniel escape?" cullen asked coldly, Cullen's men slightly lowered their heads in fear of the boss' anger.

"ANSWER ME!! Don't you have a mouth?" decisively Cullen

"Pardon us sir, Daniel can be free as if someone has unlocked his chain" said one of Cullen's men

"Do you know this negligence of yours almost killed Xana" said Cullen coldly

"If anything happens with Xana, you will get a very severe punishment" threatened Cullen made his men did not dare to look at the boss

"Ck, because of this incident Xana knew that I was a mafia.." murmured Cullen inwardly.

"Investigate who would dare to betray and release Daniel, even if Daniel is dead but still I will not let the traitor live in peace!" cullen insists while giving orders to his men.

Cullen massaged his sore forehead because of the negligence of his men, how to deal with Xana later? Thought Cullen was dizzy.

Late at night Cullen entered Xana's room and lay down beside her, staring intently at her. Then Cullen hugged Xana's tiny body, he sniffed the fragrant smell of Xana's familiar body in his nose.

Cullen likes Xana's body odor which he finds very soothing, he likes Xana's round eyes and Xana's oval face.

The next morning Xana woke up but unlike usual she did not feel the warmth of Cullen's body, because Cullen woke up early before Xana who woke up first. Cullen didn't want to make her emotional early in the morning because of last night,

"Miss Xana let's have breakfast" Yura said after Xana took a shower and cleaned her body. Xana without saying much went straight to the dining room, there was Cullen who just sat still without seeing Xana he continued to eat his dishes.

Xana also looked indifferent he did not care about Cullen, until they finished breakfast no word came out of the mouths of the two.

Cullen still did not know how to persuade the woman, but for now he just kept quiet because the woman did not like it the most if kept quiet.

Cullen went to work as usual, still ignoring Xana. Somehow Xana felt uncomfortable with Cullen's attitude, but she also did not want to ask first.

Xana spends her time in the room reading books,

"Damn I want to go to law school, while Cullen is the one who likes to break the law" Xana grumbled in her heart

"What would it be if we were really husband and wife." Xana murmured inwardly

"Ehhh why am I thinking so far" Xana muttered again as if she was having a fight with herself.

"Huhhhh, Yura I want to go out alone" said Xana, Yura was a bit hesitant but she would make room for her lady.

Xana leaves the mansion without Cullen's knowledge,

"It's time I investigated the Alvano family, it's been a long time since I've dealt with the matter" Xana said in her heart.

Now that Xana is wearing an all-black suit complete with a mask and hat, she will begin her investigation by searching for the grave of her grandfather.

"It's been a long time." Xana muttered inwardly as she looked at the mansion of the Alvano family residence from a distance.

Then Xana searches for the secret passage that was once where she used to hide, a few minutes later Xana has reached the underground tunnel. Xana turned on her flashlight, until the dark room became quite bright because of the light of the lamp.

Xana opened the locked door password, fortunately even though it was rusty the button still works.

Xana has a passcode based on her last date of birth,

'Sretttt'

The door slowly opened and shifted to the right side, Xana stared at the closet whose layout was still the same. The old clothes were still clean, and Xana slowly peeked out of the closet fearing that someone was in the room.

But there was no one and Xana opened the door slowly, there she saw her room was still clean and neatly arranged.

"It looks like my room is very well guarded" Xana muttered inwardly, she touched the whole room clean and Xana's eyes were now fixed towards her bed. Xana immediately lay on the padded mattress that looks clean and fragrant, because the sheets are always replaced every day.

"Hahhhh if I only knew how the business world plays, maybe I wouldn't die just yet." murmured Xana softly, after feeling enough, Xana quickly heads to her bookshelf and searches for a photo album with her extended family first.

Xana smiled as she looked at the memories for the sake of the album, she did not expect the happiness she used to feel was just a drama in the family.

Xana's eyes reddened when she saw a photo of the face of someone she loved so much but was found to be hurting...

On one side in the workspace Cullen got a report from Xana's activities, hp Xana has been tapped and the location is now in the Alvano family mansion.

"Why is Xana there?" thinking Cullen is suspicious, Cullen now thinks Xana is a spy for the Alvano family

"Dony have you investigated Xana's background?" ask Cullen flat

"Yes Mr. Cullen, Miss Xana is just an ordinary girl from a simple family" Dony said

"Then why did Xana go to the Alvano Family Mansion? What does this have to do with the Alvano Family?" cullen asked, Cullen tried to reach Xana with his phone.

'Tring! Kingg!'

Ringtone hp sound that makes Xana surprised,

"Cullen?? What did he call me at the wrong time?" thought Xana and she turned it off immediately, but because of the ringtone sound one of the servants quickly headed for Xana's room.

Xana who feels will be caught quickly he runs and enters the closet which is a secret passageway that only Xana knows of her.

'Klikk'

'Sretttt'

The sound of a room door being opened by one of the servants of the Alvano family,

"Nai, I just heard a voice from inside her room, Miss Alexsa's house." said the waiter to his friend

"What is true? Maybe it was the sound of an animal or a bird" said the waiter's friend

"Iya Nai it seems I misheard" said the waiter again.

Xana quickly left the secret room because Cullen kept calling himself and making his phone do the noise, Xana quickly pressed the silent tone button so that there was no more sound on her phone.

"Xana what are you hiding from me." muttered Cullen softly when he saw Xana had drifted away from the Alvano Family Mansion.
