Chapters 10. Torments

"Hiks, hicks, torches" the sound of someone crying in his room, it has been almost two days that the girl did not come out of the room all the housemaids at his house were worried and continued to persuade him but he did not flinch in the slightest.

"Miss Ellena, let's eat a little!" said one of the servants he was very worried and agitated because of the girl

"Miss, ayoo eat later miss sick." said the maid again but she remained ignored

"How's Miss Ellena Aunt Key doing?" asked Dony, the almost 49-year-old woman just shook her head without answering a word

"Hahhh, if this continues to be chaotic." said Dony again with a worried tone

"Mr Cullen is still unaccounted for, Miss Ellena won't go out of the room even if she doesn't want to eat." said Dony frustrated.

"Did Miss Ellena have any friends?" aunt Key asked, Dony seemed to be thinking with Aunt Key's words

"Emm as far as I know there may be, yes there is! Her name is Xana if it's not wrong. Why is bi?" dony was surprised

"Perhaps with us to bring her friend, Miss Ellena will listen to him." said Aunt Key explained

"Hemm we can try." said Dony, he then rushed to take his car and bring Xana to the Mansion.

Not long after, Xana without rejection followed Dony.

"What's the problem?" tanya Xana looked at Dony who seemed to be thinking a lot

"Bos Cullen is missing and Ellena hasn't been out of her room since yesterday" Dony said

"Cullen missing?" xana said softly but was still heard by Dony

"I.iya." said Dony keceplosan

Xana muttered in her heart, she smiled faintly

"So I needed just to persuade your lady." said Xana again and Dony just nodding.

Arriving at the Mansion, Xana was stunned to see how large and luxurious this Cullen Alfarizi residence was.

'Excellent, this is the result of his labor'

Xana goes into the mansion with Dony,

"Miss Xana I leave this duty to you, because I still have a lot of unfinished business." said Dony, bowing slightly and followed by Xana their sign of mutual respect.

Then a middle-aged woman came to Xana

"The theme is Miss Ellena? Let's follow aunt here!" said the woman, holding Xana's hand and taking her to a room with pink doors.

"This is Miss Ellena's room, I beg you to persuade her to come out." she said again. Then Xana without saying much she knocked on Ellena's bedroom door.

'Tok tok tok'

"Ellena it's me Xana, why don't you answer my phone!" xana said a little firmly, but there was still no response from behind that door.

Then Xana spoke even louder

"If you don't open this door then don't blame me if your door is broken" Xana said but there was still no response from within,

'Dbrukkkk!!'

The loud noise came from Ellena's bedroom door, Xana forcefully opened the door until it was destroyed. Aunt Key gaped at Xana's attitude which she thought was unusually strong for a woman. Though they did not dare to break the door because they were afraid of being angry with Miss Ellena or Mr. Cullen, but now even destroyed by Xana with a innocent face without feeling guilty.

Xana immediately entered the room and saw Ellena who was very pale, she looked like a malnourished person even though she had only been locked away for almost two days.

Xana approached Ellena and examined her forehead which was so hot, but her hands and feet were so cold.

"Bi help me lift Ellena!" xana said, then they lifted Ellena up on her bed.

"Come to the doctor!" xana orders again and without much talking Aunt Key obeys Xana's orders.

Long story short after the doctor came, Xana decided to go home on foot because she refused to be escorted by the driver in the mansion.

"Are you really not able to see the facts?" cullen asked Daniel Amartha who was sitting in the chair right in front of him, the face that had been red was extinguished but he tried to hold back his anger and digest Cullen's words to him.

"If you like her why would you reject her? And make him do the desperate thing to prove his love to you!" daniel shouted with teary eyes, he hurt again if he remembered the past. The wound he was trying to heal was now even open again, somehow it felt difficult to accept what had happened at that time.

"I like it, but I think it's just my sister!" sahut Cullen in a flat tone but he has been cold-headed since then because of the torture that Daniel has done.

"Do you really not want to accept reality?" ask Cullen

'What happened to you Daniel?'

Cullen thought as he stared at the glare of Daniel's sharp eyes that looked angry but there was sadness in him.

"What other secret documents is Daniel?" ask Cullen

'Secret Documents, covering all black market assets. And list all the names of the powerful people who relate to every detail of the detailed data of everyone involved. It is obligatory for the person in control of the economy on the black market, to keep this document which if in the hands of people is not right then the consequences are greater. Cullen was silent he did not speak anymore because his cheeks felt sore due to the strong grip of Daniel.

"Hehhh! Filnd made him talk where the documents were!" daniel orders Flind who already looks tired of seeing the drama of these two people who were once friendly, but now even become sworn enemies.

After Daniel left, Flind and some of Daniel's men were left in the room.

"I didn't think a great man like you would be like this!" flind mocked with a terrible grin

Flind punched Cullen's stomach until Cullen vomited blood,

Several times Cullen coughed up blood as a result of a blow from Flind, here Cullen continued to be tortured until he opened his voice. But Cullen wasn't as weak as they thought...

For nearly 3 hours Flind beat Cullen in turn with the other men, but Cullen still did not speak.

Cullen smiled sinisterly,

"Ap..apa.ka.lian..kelel.ahan" he said with a stammer accompanied by a terrible grin.

"Sial Cullen is so strong that it can survive so far, I admit enough that his greatness is indeed worthy of him bearing the most powerful mafia.." flind muttered in his heart he was quite exhausted but he took out his poisonous dagger earlier,

Cullen endured his pain for the umpteenth time,

Cullen fainted that very second, he could barely get up. A few minutes later, exactly 15 minutes after the torture. Cullen woke up again, his body still being poisoned like burning pain. Not to mention the bruises and wounds that seemed to be sprinkled with salt, very sick!

It was in those last seconds that Cullen rose with his last energy, out of nowhere he got that power that Cullen violently snatched the chain that bound his hands.

He tried hard, but failed. And for the umpteenth time Cullen worked hard to snatch the chain from the wall that locked the chain.

Suddenly though...

The door was opened slowly by someone, and a beautiful woman came to Cullen.

"Metty?" cullen said slowly he had no idea what the woman was doing right now,

"Jeez Cullen I didn't know you'd be cruelly tortured like this" he said, covering his mouth in disbelief.

Then Metty opened the chain at Cullen's auction slowly, and Cullen saw that Metty was crying.

"Why are you crying?" cullen asked in a weak tone

"As evil as I am, I can't bear to see you hurt" Metty said, hugging Cullen, whose chains had been removed

"Thank you, Metty" said Cullen briefly and Metty looked at Cullen, wanting to kiss Cullen's tiny lips but not daring to do so.

"Are you hurt?" cullen asked as he looked at Metty's wrist wrapped in bandages, Metty wiped away his tears

"It's just a minor wound." said Metty

"I'm sorry if I shot you yesterday" said Cullen, feeling guilty and Metty smiling sweetly

"No problem, my heart hurts more if I see you hurt like this." said Metty who made Cullen speechless

"I'm sorry if I misspoke." said Metty.

"No, I'm the one who apologized for not being able to accept your feelings." said Cullen then he stood alone without Metty's help

"Thank you for this, I'll reply one day." said Cullen as he walked out of the room.

"I'll show you the safe way!" metty said, holding Cullen's hand and taking him away from there.

"I can only get you here" Metty said in a secret tunnel that ran straight into the city

"Thank you Metty" Cullen said briefly and walked alone down the dark tunnel, but before that Metty quickly hugged Cullen from behind.

"Be careful." she said briefly and let go of the hug and let Cullen go.

"Cullen if you knew I liked you so much, but unfortunately this might be the last time you see me." Metty said in her heart, smiling and crying at the same time.

Cullen walked quite far, and now at 11 pm Cullen tried to escape from the place, he was in a frenzy and often fell because of his physical weakness.

The dark tunnel was taken by Cullen on foot, he was very exhausted but because the spirit of Cullen's survival continued to run nonstop. The poison in his body that was still spreading slowly made Cullen even more tormented and in pain,

"If this continues, will I die?" thought Cullen was no accident.
