After the days of Ospek, I waited a few days to start my studies.
I moved to a new place of residence, which was boarding. The kosan I was in at the time was still close to campus. Only a few steps have arrived at the university. My mother was great, choosing her son's residence that was very close to campus.
When moving to a new boarding house, only bring clothes and some necessary suits. Because in the boarding room there are mattresses and cabinets available.
But mom was so bothered to buy me all kinds of stuff. It's all so I don't feel like I'm lacking and need is available.
After neat and ready to be occupied by my boarding room, my mother came home.
"Sir, you stay here"
"yes Ma'am"
"Mother first, if there's any phone call"
"Ready ma'am, don't worry lara can take care of herself"
Mother also said goodbye to mother kosan, who accompanied us neatly-fragile room.
"Mom, I'm picking up the kid"
"Yes, Mom, calm down"
"Bad tirade yep ya ma'am"
"Ready Ma'am"
Then mom left, I was a little sad and almost shed tears.
When I was in my room, I looked at every corner. In that place I have to feel comfortable for the next few years.
The first day I lived away with my family, my mother just drove me to this place. Starting to feel lonely when night falls, usually I am with parents cool watching television in the guest room. But at that time I was alone.
"Tock...Geck"
The sound of the door rang out from outside, like someone was knocking on my bedroom door.
"Assynoltom..."
"Wa'alaikumsalam" I immediately opened the door.
"Hi, are you new here?"
"Yes, greetings know me Lara"
"Oh, yes, I also know Shana"
"Bak Shana, which room is it?"
"It's beside you"
"Oh, besides"
"Well, if you're in the room, don't hesitate to call me yaa"
"Ready mbak"
"Here we talk outside"
Then the arrival of Mbak Shana took away my loneliness for a while.
At least on the first day, I had a new friend who was a boarding room neighbor.
After a long conversation, we finally decided to sleep with each other.
I started to close my eyes, even though I was used to the dark. But in that room I still did not dare to turn off the lights.
It feels strange, but I still have to enjoy every second.
*The next day*
I woke up after hearing the sound of an adhan and a cell phone alarm that sounded from outside the room. Whether it's the phone alarm who, which is obviously very helpful to wake up for the owner even others.
The atmosphere outside was still quiet, no one was seen waking up.
I finally got the courage to go to the toilet.
I rushed to ablution and perform dawn prayers.
After the dawn prayer, my heart was calm. I am thankful that one night I passed. Even I like counting the seconds, minutes, hours, to immediately meet the family at home.
The morning was not perfect, without the cock crowing. It was realized at that time I lived in an urban area, so where there might be a community that raised chicken village. Because of the habit of being accommodated, the chickens belonging to my neighbors always crow in the morning.
The chicken crows, I miss my hometown. I should've set up a cell phone alarm with a cock crowing ringtone. To still feel the atmosphere in the yard.
Oh, forget the cock crows.
What kind of breakfast do you cook at home?
Suddenly my phone rang. Long live, my mother called.
"Assalamualaikum.. is it Ma'am?"
"Goddessalam... Deck, you've had breakfast?" ask mother.
"Belom ma'am, this is just about to buy breakfast"
"Oh... What kind of breakfast do you want?"
"Hmmm.. I also know Mom"
"In front of your boarding house there will be warteg, you better have breakfast rice with an omelet"
"Yes ma'am, I'll buy that breakfast"
"Yes there is breakfast, this is noon you know. later you are late to campus"
"Yes ma'am, but relax I'll take the campus from the boarding house"
"Hmm yes, although deket but you also have to set the time"
"Yes ready, Mom"
"Yes, mom here always do'ain you to be healthy and college smooth"
"Aaminn. thank you my dear mother"
"Hmmm, I'm hanging up"
"Yes Ma'am"
After hanging up the phone, I rushed to buy breakfast outside.
"Ting Ting Ting, lontong sayurrrrr" the voice of the vegetable lontong brother who happened to pass in front of the inn.
"Hmmm I think I want breakfast" I murmured.
"Bangg.. bang.. buy vegetable lontong" I called the greengrocer.
Then the greengrocer's brother stopped in front of the gate.
"Buy 1 serving of ya bang"
"Ready neng" he said.
Finished buying vegetable lontong, I immediately entered the boarding house again. Enjoy breakfast that morning. "I have to report to mom, if I'm going to be a veggie lunch breakfast instead of an omelet warteg hehe" I murmured.
Finally I felt full even though I had breakfast with vegetables, then I prepared to go to campus. The time has shown at 07:00, it seems like the right time for a new student to first enter college.
That day I used a purple top and jeans, and did not forget to wear an alma mater. Due to campus regulations, new students are required to use an alma mater.
Yeah... I was a student that day and I was so excited.

Arriving at the campus, I saw many students jostling to see the notice board. Are they all looking at the class information?
I finally approached the notice board with the other students. Despite the crammed conditions, luckily I was able to see my new class information.
It turned out that I was in A class and the first day I studied in the classroom on the 2nd floor.
Then I immediately rushed to go to the 2nd floor. While on my way to the 2nd floor, suddenly someone hit me on the shoulder. When he walked, he was busy checking his bag. While I was in a hurry to go upstairs, so he hit me.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't on purpose" said one person who hit my shoulder.
"Hmm yes gapapa kok" I said.
"I'm sorry brother" he apologized once again, bowing his head.
Then I returned with a smile and went to the stairs.
Strange, I'm a freshman. Why did he call you brother?
"Maybe he's a freshman also times, so call brother" I muttered.
I finally got to the 2nd floor and immediately looked for her classroom.
After getting the classroom I went to, it turned out there were already several new students. Maybe they'll be my classmates.
