Chapter 3. Don't Give It to Him

"Darling, what are you looking for?" anella asked confusedly.

Half of her husband's closet had moved to the floor. But the man still seemed busy looking for something.

"Well, I'm looking for the tie you bought from France first" Ellard replied without looking back.

"Here I help, you have breakfast first." Anella put the wheat porridge on the table.

"Hmm? All right," said Ellard. His stomach was already hungry.

Anella also intervened to find the tie meant by the husband. He scoured every corner of the closet without being missed in the slightest.

"Congratulations da- ... Ellard's." A smile rose on Lilith's face, upon seeing a handsome man entering her cake shop.

"This is what, Ma? Why so much? Anela asked as the mother gave her two bushels.

"Of course it's a side dish for you. Tomorrow you celebrate the anniversary" said Mrs Eleanor, Anella's mother.

"It's okay once in a while. Ellard loved mom's cooking. Oh yes, Mama also prepared a luxury car and boat for her" replied Mrs Eleanor.

"For Ellard?" Anella could not believe that her mother loved her son-in-law more than she did.

Anella took a long breath. "I'm trying again, Ma. Yesterday's doctor checkup, I'm healthy, really." Anella replied to the mother's sentence meekly, without the slightest anger.

The two lovebirds then left the apartment, then walked to the bakery and cake which were several tens of meters next to the apartment.

Ellard and Lilith stopped their footsteps when they met a beautiful woman like a Greek Goddess. His voice sounded soft, but also firm.
