The Devil's Dribble Husband

The Devil's Dribble Husband
Chapter 23. Teasing Husband

"You must be the target of girls. I want you too" said Arella bravely. His fingers were playing around on the surface of the glass containing ice kopyor as a dessert.

"What'sthis? Why do I feel different about this girl? She was indeed too outspoken like Lilith. But she also always praised me with her innocent face."

Ellard's chest was pounding, when he heard the words of his business partner. His blood flowed faster, and his body's serotonin increased. But Ellard tried to stay calm, so that Arella did not feel sorry for him.

"Well, since you've been constantly denigrated and belittled by Lilith, you've been weak to praise, haven't you?"

Arella smiled cunningly. Among the three of them, only Arella was not drunk. He drank only one glass of tequila at the beginning, as a confidant of the two cursed men in front of him.

"Duh, that means I want you as my partner. Hopefully our business will run smoothly in the long run. Sorry if you misunderstood. How could I dare to like a married man, let alone my business partner," Arella said as she lowered her face.

"Eh, I don't misunderstand, really. I get your point. Sometimes interest in coworkers is necessary, to build chemistry and make work relationships more relaxed" Ellard said in a soft voice.

"Well, you're a professional. I feel guided by you. Surely your business experience has been a lot, huh? Be my business partner forever. And we'll have success together."

Arella changed her speech to non-formal. Ellard was a little surprised to hear it, but then her lip line slightly rose and made an upward arch.

"Well! I just found out that he doesn't just like to go after people's possessions. But also spread the charm with women, surely he is so to me also because of money, right? But what's he looking for in Lilith?"

Arella looked at the heavily drunk woman sharply. She was disgusted to see the woman who shared her husband with her, for more than three years.

"Duh, don't worry about Lilith. He was so drunk" Ellard said. The man opened his suit, then used it to cover Lilith's back.

"That's it, huh? So we can have a free chat, dong." Arella blinked one eye while chuckling.

"Did he purposely want to pull me over? Why is his attitude so hard to guess?" thought Ellard was happy.

For months after committing the murder of his own wife, Ellard was only the target of Lilith's anger. Almost every day they fight, just because of trivial things. Lilith's sweet attitude that the woman had been showing all along, disappeared instantly.

"A independent woman like her looks more attractive, than a woman who can only rely on and rely on a husband like Lilith. Ah, come to think of it, Arella is a bit like Anella who is independent, smart and hardworking."

Ellard sank deeper into his own thoughts. He had been unconscious since then smiling to himself, and ignored the cry from Arella.

"Geez! What did I do to a married man? No matter how handsome she is, I shouldn't be flirting with people's husbands. Though I said it myself about working professionals," exclaimed Arella pretending to feel guilty.

"Hmmm ... Look, Arella. Don't blame yourself. Even though we have made promises, we have not officially registered our marriage to the country. You could say we're just a couple living together."

Ellard reveals her secret to Arella. He was not afraid, if his business partner would divulge his secret to the public. Ellard is fed up with Lilith's toxic and manipulative attitude.

The fingers of the man moved slowly about to touch the tiny hand of Arella. But Arella hurriedly pulled him over quickly, before she vomited from being too fed up.

"We don't know, right, what will the fate of people in the future? Either way we'll end up like what we'll be like" Ellard continued, pouring vermouth into his glass. She felt a little embarrassed, because Arella blatantly avoided her.

"Oh, so you're not officially married yet? So you were just tying your promises at a house of worship?" Arella responded to Ellard's heart expression with a sumringah face.

"Yes, we're not married officially. But we also do not keep promises in the house of worship. I do not want to destroy the sanctity of the house of worship, with our inappropriate attitude. So, we just tied the knot in front of some friends and close relatives of Lilith aja," Ellard said.

"Oh, so he realized, what's he doing wrong?" Arella chuckled in her heart.

"Ah, why so talk about personal, anyway? You don't feel ilfeel, do you?" Ellard suddenly changed her tone.

"No, kok. I'm understand. Marriage is not easy. At first, the husband and wife claimed they could not live without each other. But finally there are also those who can kill each other because of property and infidelity."

Ellard's expression suddenly changed, as Arella said that. His head was raised and his forehead was furrowed deeply. He scanned every inch of the woman's face with suspicion.

"Why is the news on TV lately so weird, huh? I became afraid to find a partner and get married" Arella said as if talking to herself. "But if the nature of the guy is like Mr. Ellard, maybe I'm not too afraid of having a partner" he continued with an innocent face.

"Arella ..."

"Duh, what am I talking about, anyway? I must have been drunk," murmured Arella back.

"I'll drive you home, okay?" ellard whispered as he brought his face closer to Arella.

"Duh, no. Later your boyfriend can misunderstand," Arella refused gently. "This is my apartment card. If you still want to continue our unfinished conversation, just come. But alone," said Arella smiling seductively.

Ellard was stunned to hear the words of his business partner. She did not expect, Arella would say that so easily. The man also became upset. Is Arella just testing it, or really wanting it.

"It's a luxury apartment in the elite area. The price per month can reach hundreds of millions. Unlike my apartment which is only four and a half million per month," inner Ellard.

"Sst, I didn't tell you to come tonight. But when do you have free time. And I'm asking you to come alone, so we can focus on talking about business issues without interruption" Arella said.

"Do you live there alone?" ask Ellard.

"Yes, I'm alone" replied Arella.

"Your housekeeper came in the morning?" search Ellard again.

"I don't use a housekeeper. Because I don't think housework is that hard. Especially staying alone" replied Arella. "But why are you asking me that?"
