Chapters 12. Don't Go Home

"Why did you go abroad without telling Mama? Are you angry with Mama? Forgive Mama, son," said Mrs Eleanor, full of regret.

"Eh? Out of state?" Anella asked her mother.

"Well, didn't you run abroad?"

"Where do people go abroad leaving Passports and Visanya, Ma. All my clothes are still in the house. I also called Mama with a local number" Anella replied.

"God! Where are you now, son? Is your situation all right? Can you video call?" said Mrs Eleanor.

At first, Anella refused to make video calls. But Mrs Eleanor continued to insist, wanting to ascertain the state of her daughter directly.

"God! Your face, son!" Lady Eleanor could not continue her sentence, seeing that the princess' beautiful face had been battered.

"I'm okay, Ma. It's just a small wound. I can treat it" Anella assured her mother.

"Tell Mama honestly. What really happened to you. This time Mama will trust you, son," asked Mrs Eleanor.

Anella is forced to tell her bitter story, ranging from a romantic dinner prepared by her husband, to Rhea and Railo who are willing to help her.

"Ma, please don't cry. I'm okay, really. I am grateful to see the true nature of the man. After I recover I will go home and avenge all Ellard's treatment" Anella said, hiding the pain in her heart.

"Please don't come home."

"Eh? What's?" Anella couldn't believe what she had just heard.

"Mama said, you don't go home. Get as far away from the city as possible. Forgive Mama for not believing in you from the beginning. I'm sorry for making you go through something terrible like this."

Madame Eleanor's tears were breaking. The middle-aged woman seemed to really regret her disbelief in her own daughter. He rubbed his tears with a piece of tissue.

"Ma, don't talk like that. What exactly is going on? Of course I have to go home. Our business is not finished and all my possessions are there" Anella said.

Lady Eleanor then recounted everything her son-in-law had said. How manipulative the man was, so that everyone including the police could believe him.

Anella is not a random person. He is one of the most famous young entrepreneurs in his hometown. But why could her lost self without a trace for three days not raise questions from others? Of course all that is because of Ellard who is able to deceive well.

"Remale! She could have done something like that" Anella said.

"Just hope you don't come back as Anella. Better to think you're dead, than to watch you get killed twice, son." Lady Eleanor kept begging the princess to follow her advice.

"Keep what shall I do, Ma? All my work is there. I can't change my identity either" Anella said.

"Mama will find you a home and a job abroad. As Ellard wanted. If you reappear as Anella, maybe our lives will both be threatened. The boy was terrible" said Mrs Eleanor.

"God! Also true. Why didn't I think about it from the beginning?" inner Anella. "But if I don't go home, how do I take care of Mama?" The poor woman was feeling very upset. His fingers squeezed his head which started to feel dizzy.

"Ma, I can't leave Mama alone there. I'm still going home. I can't bear to leave Mama alone, around the cruel man" Anella said with a heavy heart.

"Son, Mama doesn't have a problem living alone. Mama is willing to do anything, for your happiness. Even living alone once. Let's just say Mama is making amends for trusting Ellard too much" said Mrs Eleanor.

"Ah, Mama turn off the phone, yeah. Looks like someone's coming." Without waiting for an answer from Anella, Lady Eleanor too

"Anella! You okay?"

Railo hurriedly entered the room, when he heard a scream from Anella. When Anella calls her mother, Rhea and Railo leave her alone, to maintain privacy.

"I'm okay. I'm just worried about Mama" Anella said.

"Don't think too hard, Anne. Your condition has not recovered properly" Railo said.

"Yes, thank you, Rai. Where is Rhea? I want to restore her HP" said Anella.

"He went out for a while. Ah, are you hungry? Can I buy you some soup?" Railo offers Anella sop.

The woman shook her head. "I ate hospital food, Rai. I haven't been picky about food in the past" he replied. "I don't feel good about Rhea either. What if he's angry because you're paying too much attention to me?" coined.

"For what is Rhea angry? Instead he was happy to help anyone, because he worked in a social parlour" Railo replied with a frown.

"That's not what I meant. But ..."

"Ah, you must have misunderstood our relationship. He's my twin brother. My name is Railo Flynn and he's Rhea Flynn. I was twelve minutes older than him" Railo said.

"hee? Really? I just feel like you two are quite similar. Ah, your names are similar." Anella laughs at her own stupidity.

"I love seeing you smile. Don't be sad anymore, you'll heal longer." Railo developed a smile on his face, until his rather long canine teeth were seen. "If there's something I can help you with again just say it," he said.

"Emc ... I may sound shameless. But I want to ask you and Rhea for help. Please take care of my Mama for a while," said Anella Lirih.

Railo took a chair, then sat down facing Anella. His smiling face, looked shady and calming. His eyeballs were brownish in color, in stark contrast to his bright skin.

"Well, I'll tell Rhea later, yeah. Let him send his men around your mama's house" Railo said.

"Ah, thank you. But when are you here? You're not going home?"

Anella took her eyes off the man. Railo is pretty handsome. But Anella's heart still felt traumatized against men.

"I feel like this place is like home, rather than my real home. I work here and spend more than sixteen hours here every day" Railo said.

"Eh? Really? Y-what do you work for?" ask Anella. He guessed that the man was a doctor. Why isn't he wearing a doctor's suit?

"I'm a nurse's assistant here. And now it's my break, so you can visit for a while" Railo replied.

Anella's guess was wrong.

"It looks like it's lunch time. I need to get back to work looking at the other patients. See you later."

"Yes, see you later, Rai," Anella replied with a smile. "God! What did I do? My problem with that accuser is not finished. I'm just smitten at another man, "Anella's inner heart.

"Hmm, but why do I feel that there's something odd about Railo's attitude, huh? He's like he's hiding something" Anella muttered.
