Chapter 5
Anna opened her eyes slowly and then closed her eyes again as the sunlight disturbed her deep sleep, with all her might holding back her discomfort from the glare of the sun. This was his day off, he wanted to rest his heart and mind by sleeping until noon. Wait a minute, why could there be sunlight coming in if no one had opened the window curtain?
"Anna, let's get up! you have to tell me what happened yesterday!"
Emily's cry has answered all the questions in her mind, she should also have guessed who else could enter her room. "There's nothing to tell, Emily," Anna murmured softly. He closed his eyes tightly and tried to go back to sleep.
Before long, Anna clucked in annoyance as she felt the edge of her bed move, if it had been like this surely Emily would have really woken her up. "Anna, wake! don't tell me if yesterday's mission failed? William's fascinated by your looks, isn't he?" it was Emily who really made Anna's ears hurt.
Having felt confident that she would not be able to continue her sleep, Anna opened her eyes and forced herself to sit down and leaned on the head of the bed. "William really thinks I'm just a friend, nothing more than Emily. Never mind, stop helping me to make William fall in love, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen" Anna replied excitedly.
"Oh come on Anna, don't be like this, don't be discouraged. The Anna I know isn't as giving up like this, there are still plenty of ways we can use to make William fall in love with you."
Anna has been lazy in various ways suggested by Emily. During these 6 years, Anna always tried, but if she always failed there would be a point where she had to give up. "No, let's forget William. I'm going to find another guy Emily, I'm not young anymore next year, I have to get married if I don't want to hear my mum nagging" Anna said.
Emily did not immediately reply to Anna's words, there was a little pause when Emily was seen thinking. "Ah, I know you'll get another man where!" cry Emily.
"Ohh Anna, are you going to marry the man your Mommy chose? aren't you afraid your Mommy's choice is a boring guy?" ask Emily who Anna believes is Emily's way of provoking her.
"No problem, I'm a boring woman and my husband will be a boring man, who knows you fit in and find happiness that makes us not boring each other again" said Anna indifferently.
Emily looked at Anna with a look of disbelief, she shook her head quickly. "No! I'm not gonna let that happen. You're beautiful Anna, you just need a little courage to be able to attract the attention of a handsome man."
"But I can't be that Emily, all night I'm not comfortable with the dress you gave me, I'm not comfortable with the temptations of the men who were so brave to me last night. No, I want to be myself Emily."
"But let me vote for your future girlfriend Anna, I don't want you to get the wrong guy, I want you to get the guy who can make you happy."
Hearing the heartfelt remark made Anna moved, she stretched her body and Emily immediately hugged her. "You are my best friend Emily, thank you for everything" Anna said.
"No need to thank you, Anna. People as good as you deserve a friend like me" Emily replied confidently making Anna a little comforted to a chuckle.
