Chapter 38
Anna stared confusedly at Daniel who was holding out his hand giving a black jacket with a size large enough. "You're the one who used it, why am I wearing it, people don't know me" Anna said, shaking her head.
"You sure no one knows you? however, if there will be office people or someone who knows me and accidentally takes pictures of you? I don't have a problem with that, it's just that I don't want you to feel pressured if it's the talk of the people—"
"All right! I'll use this, "cut Anna down quickly and take the jacket and the mask that Daniel apparently slipped on. "Are we going to spend time with these animals?" anna asked while wearing a jacket that began to cover her long-sleeved shirt.
Daniel instead answered and laughed at Anna, who was drowning in her oversized jacket, he grabbed her arm and folded it until Anna's fingers were seen, it made Anna unconsciously blush with what Daniel was doing. "No, once I'm satisfied to see the animals we're going to a place with less privacy" Daniel said. "I'm afraid you're not thinking, we're going to come here" Daniel continued, then pulled him out of his car storage drawer.
"Avatars? you likey?" peekik Anna was a little surprised because she herself really liked the storyline of the film, every Anna would watch Emily always reject it because Emily did not like the genre.
"Of course, let's use your mask" Daniel said. The man with lightning fast had been wearing a jacket, mask, hat and even glasses, as if such a thing he had done very often.
While in William's room, he had seen the cell phone several times, today he would pierce through his guilt at Anna. Guilt re-emerges when William recalls the events of 2 days ago, the day he consciously ruined his love for Anna.
That night William met his childhood friend at an elite nightclub that was quite famous for its security, so you can guess who was a VIP guest there. One small glass of drink would certainly not make William drunk in the least. Almost 1 hour William there he just realized if there is a collection of beautiful women who are dancing with a small glass in his hand, one of the women William knew him very well and made William immediately rise from his seat. "Veronica?" william murmured softly while confirming what he saw.
His feet stepped toward Veronica who looked cool with her friends. An opportunity also when William realized there was no assistant Veronica who accompanied him. "Veronica, are you here too?" william asked to try to persuade Veronica to return because Ace, William's secretary, had been unable to persuade Veronica with high pay to be present at the company's birthday event.
Veronica's face looked slightly red, she smiled broadly at the sight of William and all William knew was that Veronica was drunk. "William!" the cry of Veronica who seemed to beat the noise in this club. Unexpectedly Veronica put her hand on William's neck which allowed William to clearly smell Veronica's expensive perfume. William's heart became irregular when he saw the natural beauty from this close distance. "No man can resist me, why can you easily break my heart?" veronica's whispers were still so ringing in her ears until now.
William shook his head quickly, breaking all his daydreams about that night. It's not just him being a grown man doing that behind his girlfriend, is it? after all Veronica did not ask for an official relationship that made William wish for Anna, there are still many ways to fix everything, right?
