Chapter 25
Anna came out of William's room with a bag of food boxes in her hand, apparently being watched by a smiling Emily who looked at him with temptation. "Is that what's in Anna's hand? what's the breakfast our CEO made?" ask Emily in a pretty annoying tone heard by Anna.
"Don't make Emily gossip," she answered quickly as she placed a finger over her mouth. Anna looked around and made sure no one was paying attention to them.
Emily laughed a little while shaking her head. "Almost everyone here knows you like William, Anna," he chuckles slowly and it makes Anna even more anxious to her only friend!
"Don't talk to Emily anymore! there's something I want to ask, "Anna quickly replies, she sits down next to an empty chair near Emily's desk and pushes her slowly to stick with Emily's chair. "I'm confused to think of this alone, but you had to promise not to tell anyone this before."
Emily's forehead wrinkled faintly, she looked confusedly mixed with enthusiasm to know it all. "Let's go fast Anna's story! you know it's not that I've never told anyone about your love affair" whispered Emily excitedly. Because Anna did not want to take the wrong step, she decided to tell Emily who was certainly more experienced about love problems, he does not want to regret later and also does not want to have the wrong relationship for the future.
With little hesitation Anna took her breath in, perhaps on the part of William declaring love better Anna hid first, she did not want Emily to scream or make gossip about their CEO. "You know I've tried to forget William and open my heart to others?"
Emily nodded softly, she remembered Anna's seemingly giving up speech during the company's night invitation. "Yes I know that, but I'm sure you're very hard to forget your first love isn't it?"
"No! it was just that I felt like I was starting to forget how I felt about William, there was one guy I was always thinking about and—"
Anna put one finger back on her lips, giving a code so Emily could hold back her emotions and not make a scene. "Diminish your voice Emily! that's not what I want to talk about."
"Then what?"
Anna took a small bite of him in her mouth and breathed a frustrated breath, alright, she will tell you everything. "Well Sunday night William invited me to dinner, for this time there was no conversation about work and what you said this morning was true, William loves me, he already expressed his feelings to me." Emily is seen closing her mouth in disbelief, she just opened her mouth but quickly Anna cut off the sound of Emily going out. "But I refused it, not— I buy time to answer."
"Anna! have you gone crazy? you reject William? isn't he the one who got you excited about working here? Anna this opportunity won't happen a second time, let's hurry back to William's room and accept William."
Anna shook her head softly, "i felt displeased when William expressed his feelings, I felt doubtful and indecisive, I felt something was wrong."
"Anna, listen to me, it's just your disappointment that William took so long to return your feelings, but if you've been in a relationship with William you'll feel that love again, you'll be queen by a man like William. I don't know who the man that made you fall in love, but I'm sure he's not as great as William, because all I know is that Daniel is, he's my prince," chuckle at the end of her speech.
Anna becomes silent for a moment, things will go awry if Anna tells Emily that the one she loves right now is Daniel, the man with a million women who loves her. Is it true that love will come back if Anna accepts William? can Anna forget Daniel?
