Chapter 22
Arriving in the basement Anna and Emily get out of the car and walk to the elevator, but just as the elevator door opened Anna realized a document she had completed yesterday before leaving for dinner with William left in the back seat of her car. "You go first, there's a file left in the car" Anna told Emily, who was hesitant to leave Anna alone.
"Do I want to take you?" bargain Emily.
Anna shook her head, she threw a small smile at Emily. "No need, don't worry about me Emily. Come on in, people are waiting for you, "Anna replied quietly while looking at the 4 people who were already in the elevator.
"Alright, I'm waiting for you upstairs yeah, sorry to bother you this morning."
"Gosh, what's troublesome? I'm just picking you up, Emily, just come in and wait for me upstairs," Anna said slowly.
When the elevator door was closed Anna turned to her car, she opened the back door of the car and took the file that became her destination. Just as Anna closed the car door, a white car passed by, Anna's heart pounding, Anna saw Daniel from the windshield. "Relax Anna, calm down" he whispered to Anna himself, trying to stay calm and walking towards the elevator, press the elevator button with a little impatience while hoping Anna and Daniel are not in the same elevator. Wh why? Oh come on, Anna needs time to neutralize her own thoughts, she's still not sure of her heart, and one thing more important, Anna has to think carefully about her feelings for William, the man will definitely ask for the answer promised by Anna yesterday.
When the elevator door opened Anna immediately entered the elevator, she breathed a sigh of relief because Daniel had not yet gotten out of his car. However, it was their fate to meet, Daniel suddenly similarly held the elevator door that would be closed with breathless breath. "You're not waiting for me?" ask Daniel who now looks busy regulating his breath.
"Let's get inside fast, you want me to be late?" anna asked quickly so that their gaze could be released and their conversation could stall to get there. Don't ask how Anna's current heart condition is, she's even almost difficult to balance her body.
"Is dating my sister so much fun? I've never seen my sister that happy in the house" Daniel said. The gaze looked slightly disappointed, Anna could see clearly there was a void like Anna had ever felt.
"really? isn't William always cheerful? Your mommy once told you both, "Anna answered with a raging feeling, does Daniel really love her? has Daniel not been playing around? all those questions haunt Anna's mind now.
Daniel exhaled slowly, he slightly turned around and looked at the elevator button, his cheeks slightly raised and slowly let out a sigh of disappointment as he said. "It turns out to be true" he murmured softly.
Anna who heard that frowned softly. "Really?" anna asked confusedly.
"True," said Daniel hanging up and turning to Anna with a stiff smile. "You and William are in a relationship, you're not against what I said about the date just now, that means you guys are dating right?"
Just as Anna was about to answer, the elevator door opened, Daniel straightened his body and smiled slightly at Anna. "I go first" said Daniel, as his feet would step he turned his head. "Oh yes, however you will be my sister-in-law, inevitably you have to be kind to your future sister-in-law," kekeh Daniel with an impressed tone was forced to leave Anna who was immediately closed the elevator door.
Anna could only sculpt, she felt tight and as if she had a broken heart that was not known from when the feeling appeared.
