The Bad Boy's

The Bad Boy's
Chapter 32

On the 15th of Daniel's departure to Milan became a news that circulated in the office, many women complained because it means Daniel will not come at the company's birthday event. Like Emily now, she breathed out slowly and put her phone back in the desk drawer. "Well, no problem, maybe I should save money not to buy clothes," he murmured softly. "But, oh come on! I miss Daniel so much, it feels like I haven't seen him for a very long time" complained Emily loudly making Anna who heard that could only shake her head.

"Not that you always follow her activities on social media," Anna replied as she continued to focus on typing and her gaze was fixed on the laptop screen.

"Of course different Anna, seeing firsthand it feels really easy to reach, but seeing from social media it feels like there is a high wall that becomes a barrier."

Anna was silent for a moment, it was almost 3 Weeks indeed she did not hear the news of Daniel, Anna's feelings were initially always restless and remembered the man slowly fading with time, his busy work and William's attention make him free from the charm of Daniel. "Whether looking directly or not there is still a high wall blocking," Anna muttered involuntarily and quickly covered her own mouth, he turned to Emily who was afraid to hear his mutter earlier.

Emily looked sullen and rolled her eyes slowly. "Oh come on Anna, don't make myself fall, I know me and Daniel will never be together, even glancing at me there never," emily's grumbling slowly made Anna exhale a sigh of relief because it meant that Emily was not too aware of Anna's true intentions just for herself.

While in William's room, the man tapped his pen gently on the glass-lined wooden table, his forehead appearing faintly wrinkled as if explaining if there was something he was thinking about. "Did he love me?" william was confused and in disbelief.

William recalled the incident last night, he accidentally met Veronica in a mall when William delivered his Mommy.

Flashbacks

"Oh, O William," Veronica answered so coldly, there was no smile on her usually cheerful face.

William explained his point about why Veronica has not given small posts about product ads that will appear a few days after the company's birthday, usually Veronica always posts or promotes through her social media Story about ads that have worked with her. And you know what that beautiful woman answered? "Oh yeah I haven't posted a single picture about the ad yesterday?" he said it did not sound like a person who was shocked even impressed flat. "I'll tell my manager about this, you haven't complained to him, have you?"

"Oh of course not Veronica, I just wanted to directly ask you. Oh yeah, I've been texting you and your assistant a few days about the company's birthday invitations, has Daniel invited you too? are you ready to attend?" along with that look assistant Veronica who just appeared with some groceries in her hand, you can all guess the groceries she was carrying.

Veronica looked silent for a moment, then she shook her head. "I haven't seen my work schedule, as it's been very busy lately. Now that I have to leave, there is still some work that I have to finish in order to sleep well" Veronica replied with a smile that again seemed forced. "Excuse William," continued Veronica always walked first and was immediately followed in parallel by her two bodyguards, leaving William along with Veronica's assistant who had just appeared earlier.

"I really love the golden opportunity that lies before your eyes, but you chose another woman and broke Veronica's rock-hard heart. It's really very rare when, though," he said, shaking his head.

As Veronica's Assistant was about to leave, William quickly held her back. "Sorry, what do you mean?" ask William carefully.

"I don't mean to say anything, it's just that this is a lesson to you, when you don't really love someone never give hope let alone until a gift is as good as that to a woman."
