Keeping Someone's Secret
Hadian returns to Arfan's ward, after talking to Fauzan. She remembers having to return to the office while her laptop bag was left behind in her first child's room. In his heart still raged many questions on Nadia, but he did not know how to say if he wanted to speak four eyes only without making others feel suspicious.
Maybe luck is still on the side of Hadian, when the man entered the room, it turns out Nadia was alone while Arfan seemed to close his eyes indicating if the man had just fallen asleep.
“Where is my wife?” ask Hadian as soon as he's inside.
Nadia turned her head and looked down for a while, then she stood facing Hadian showing her usual courtesy, as if she was still working as her employee.
“Sorry, what yes, do you mean Mr?” ask Nadia.
“Where is Madam?”
Nadia took a deep breath while shaking her head knowing the intent of Hadian's question, his former boss who was looking for the whereabouts of his wife. Imma and Fatima were there and they talked about many things, in order to familiarize themselves with Arfan. However, not long after the departure of Fauzan and his father, followed by the departure of Ella, the two women left as well.
Imma leaves the newly awakened boy from the coma with complete trust in Nadia. Many times the woman asked for her willingness to be a son-in-law and be able to take good care of Arfan.
“Sorry, Sir. I don't know, where is Madam?”
“Indeed he didn't tell sam where you were going, so?”
“No.”
The two women did not say the purpose of their departure but, only said if they would buy Arfan's favorite food that he had not enjoyed for a long time. Nadia was surprised by the purpose of the woman went shopping, even though near the bed, there were many paper bags containing many items, including food in it.
“Oh. Is Arfan asleep?”
Nadia glanced at Arfan, then sniffed her shoulders saying, “Maybe she's sleeping, I don't know, Mr.”
“If he sleeps, can you come with me, for a minute?”
Nadia again ventured to look straight at the man whose age was already approaching that twilight.
“For?”
“Come on, I'll just ask you something, but not here.”
Nadia was worried if she became a slander between family members until the girl then shook her head again.
“No, Sir. Just talk here, I think it doesn't matter, I think Arfan does sleep well.”
“Are you sure?”
Nadia was silent, because she herself was not sure if later what Hadian would talk about was heard by Arfan to add trouble for him.
Finally Nadia chose to budge and followed Hadian's footsteps outside the room. At the same time, Arfan opened his eyes, clearly seeing the back of Nadia and her father who disappeared behind the door.
“You, still remember the promise you made and you signed it on stamp duty, right?”
Nadia nodded slowly, how could she forget the agreement that was like tying her neck with shackles and she had to keep that promise until she died.
Is not fate and destiny forever will be the secret of God until the end of the world comes, we must believe it, all the pillars of faith are in the form of things, their forms exist, only faith in God's rules and regulations is abstract and unreal.
Who would have thought if it turned out that his fate worked there not long. It was his fate or his fate, to be in this kind of position.
“Yes. I remember.”
“Yes. You need not worry. I promise I will hold a secret about the room well.”
“Good, I will still compensate you every month.”
“No need. It is the duty of fellow humans, right, sir .. keep each other secret, must be trustworthy and keep the promise.”
“Well, if you want so I won't pay you, but that doesn't mean I'll be kind if you suddenly betray, go to jail it's for sure.”
“Well, I promise, and I will try to make comfortable both in my position and the current Mr,” Nadia uses formal language that has not changed from the past.
In my heart, Nadia had a very strong reason to leave that family, being separated from all of them and having nothing, was the best thing for now.
While in Hadian's brain thought possible, it's good to keep Nadia involved in her family and life, because it will make it easier to keep an eye on the girl. So, it is not wrong to make Nadia as a daughter-in-law, the woman in front of her is, well.
“So, I want to hear your answer about matchmaking with Arfan?”
“Sorry, Sir. I can't give an answer now, because my Mom and Dad haven't given any views about Arfan, and what they think.”
“You are mature enough, why should you ask their opinion?”
“Because I'm a woman, sir. They are my guardians, so I need their opinion even if the decision remains in my hands.”
“Hmm .. how about Fauzan, do they know?”
“Already.”
“What do they think? Fauzan already know each other?”
“Yes. Father and Mother no problem with Mr. Fauzan.”
“Hmm ...”
“Pak, can I give you an opinion?”
“What's the problem?”
“Be careful anyway, sir. It is better that the father's personal belongings are stored in a different safe. In a special vault for example.”
“I've done that!”
“Then, I'm not worried. If I will keep a secret, unless God wills otherwise,” said Nadia.
After saying so, Nadia excuse me to go back in. He had promised in his heart that the secret of Hadian would remain a secret for the rest of his life. The girl continued to take part as she passed into the room, leaving Hadian who then left as well. The man was satisfied with his answer and wisdom.
In married life, it is good to be open and honest because with honesty life is much quieter than closing the blame with lies and usually lies will always ignite other lies.
Even so, there is one thing that can be covered, which is related to the disgrace of self and others that would be better if covered.
It would be much better disgrace to be a secret throughout one's life because if opened it, it will cause the lives of others to fall apart. Unless God's destiny has other wills.
Nadia sees Arfan's altered sleeping position making her suspicious if the man has just woken up from his bed. The girl frowned thinking if Arfan woke up and heard all his chatter with Hadian.
Nadia shook her head trying to expel all to the prejudice that had appeared all of a sudden. But he calmed down again because no matter what happened in the future, he was innocent because what he did was right. If only all the secrets of Hadian would be revealed later, not him who did it.
