That's what I thought when I listened to the last class of the day. I played the eraser in my left hand and looked towards the modern literature teacher who was passing through the classroom unhindered. He was an old teacher with no intonation in his voice. The students, who were not very motivated, were already sound asleep.

I stopped the pen I used to copy the note on the blackboard and looked back at the events of the day.

First of all, my homeroom teacher, Shiroyama-sensei, there are no classes today. So no one is aiming for Enami-san. Also, during the lunch break, I had lunch with Saito and Shindo like yesterday, but Enami-san did not speak to me.

We marched and headed for the front gate.

When I got close to the main gate, I could not believe my eyes when I saw the sight. It's insanity. That's not possible. I just thought that I had regained my peace.

I rubbed my eyelids. There was no change in my vision.

Enami-san was standing there, just like yesterday. His arms folded, and he looked up at the sky, looking bored.
