The sun seemed reluctant to show its light in the morning that looks cloudy. And a moment later the spatter began to wet the earth which made the atmosphere in the morning more cool felt.
Last night Arsyila could not sleep, just about to close her eyes, her father's shadow came back as if dancing in her eyes. Arsyila regained consciousness, and so on until the morning greeted her.
Outside it was still drizzling, but people still came to Asryila's house. Ardan, who has been bathing and changing clothes, now looks busy preparing everything for his father's funeral. While Arsyila, who was in the room earlier as if silently staring in front of a large mirror in the corner of her room with a blank look.
Tot.. Geck.. Geck..
The door to Arsyila's room sounded knocking from outside, Arsyila was aghast in shock and rushed to open the door to her room.
"Arsy, are you ready?" Ask Maida. Arsyila just nodded.
Maida looked at her best friend with pity, Arsyila's puffy eyes and her somewhat pale face. Maidapun sure Arsyila must have cried all night and also did not sleep for sure.
"Yuk we're out Arsy.. Outside there are our study friends who come to worship. They want to meet you and express their sorrow directly to you" said Maida who then held Arsyila's hand and took her out of the room.
Sure enough, after Arsyila went out of the room, he saw his study friends come all in for the act. They alternately greet and embrace Arsyila as well as say words of sorrow and also speak words of encouragement to Arsyila.
"Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi raji. We are all deeply saddened by the passing of your father, Arsyi. May the deceased be forgiven for all their sins and for all their acts of worship by Allah SWT. And may you also be given the fortitude and strength of faith born and the heart in accepting this reality.." The word Aisyah represents her other friends in giving condolences.
"Aamiya.. Allahumma Aaminn's.. Thank you for coming Ayesha and the other friends.." Arsyila said with a faint smile.
After that, a few moments later.. Despite the drizzle, they buried Arsyila's father that morning as well. There were many neighbors, relatives and study friends of Arsyila who delivered Arsyila's father to his final resting place. Including Umi Lika who was present at Arsyila's father's funeral. Even though her father-in-law was standing across the street, away from Arsyila.
However, Asryila did not see Raihan and Raina coming with her in-laws. Umi Lika said last night that Raihan would come at her father's funeral. But, where is he? Why not show up?? Even though Raihan has been evil towards her, somehow Arsyila expects the Presence of Raihan at this time.
Arsyila had also heard rumors of the sound of his neighbors who helped deliver the body of his father, they asked each other about the whereabouts of Arsyila's husband. Arsyila understood the question from her neighbors, because from last night until this morning they saw her alone without her husband accompanying her by her side.
After the funeral, Arsyila who was still squatting beside her father's grave, suddenly approached by the family of her mother who came from outside the city. Without further ado, a woman with black eyes immediately asked Arsyila. Ask about her husband.
"Where is your husband, Arsy?" Tanya Rika, Aunt Arsyila, the sister of her late mother, who lives in different cities with Arsyila.
"ee.. Bang Raihan, it just so happens that he's in service outside of auntie town.." Answer Arsyila. Forced him to lie to cover up the disgrace in his household. Arsyila did not want her extended family to know the problems in her household.
"Oos.. But now he's on his way home, right?" Rika asked again as if dissatisfied with the answer from Arsyila.
"Yes.. It is unlikely that your husband will not come home. Her father-in-law just died. Cook is more concerned with his work than you.." That Tantenya. Arsyila was silent. Not intending to respond to the talk of his aunt.
"And.. Your in-laws don't exist either?" Aunt Rika is still interrogating Arsyila.
"Therefore.. Maybe you're home now, Auntie.." Answer Arsyila as it were.
"Your house is fine, isn't it, Arsy? You don't fight with your husband anymore, do you??" Ask aunt Rika who suddenly alluded to her household problems with Raihan. Asked like that, then made Arsyila immediately turned to the tantenya.
"What does aunt mean to ask like that??" Tanya Arsyila was not happy. Because he thinks it is not right to ask about his household problems when he is grieving like this. Instead of comforting himself, he asked something he did not want to answer. Just once, Arsyila did a lie. He did not want to add another new lie by saying that his household was fine, but instead the opposite.
"Yes.. Nothing to mean, aunt wants to know.." He said the one who after that went away from Arsyila.
After that, one by one the people left the funeral. Only Arsyila was left with Ardan. Some time they were there too, looking at their father's grave silently silent, until finally Ardan invited Arsyila to come home.
Arriving home, Arsyila went straight to the room. Drowsiness suddenly overwhelms him plus his head that begins to feel twitching. Arsyila intended to rest for a moment her eyes with sleep. Seconds later, he threw his body on his bed.
Just half an hour Arsyila was asleep, suddenly he woke up to the sound of Maida screaming from outside his house.
Maida entered Arsyila's house by running in a hurry and also shouted calling her name. Spontaneous Arsyila and Ardan left the room together to the source of the sound.
"Army... That's.. The Hasbi.. Hasbi.." With a faint breath Maida let out a stammering sound.
"Why Hasbi??" Ask Arsyila as if impatient with the follow-up sentence from Maida.
"Si Hasbi... Taken to the police station, he said he was reported for the act of beating Raihan, Arsy.." Maida.
"What??" Shouted Arsyila as if in disbelief. This is what Arsyila was afraid of, in fact, Raihan must not just be silent about the blow that Hasbi made to Raihan, and proved that now Hasbi was taken to the police station for Raihan's complaint.
Along with that, Arsyila's phone rang. Arsyila immediately took the phone in her pocket and how surprised she was after finding out who called.
"Hello Arshila... Oya, I want to say 2 congratulations to you. The first survived the death of your father.. Congratulations on your friend's imprisonment, hahahahaha..." Raihan's loud laughter was heard on the other end of the phone.
Arsyila took a deep breath. When everyone expressed their condolences for her father's death, her husband congratulated her.. It's amazing, it's amazing that Raihan's savage....
