CHAPTER 70

After being alone with Decklan, Chaby invited Pika into the tent. He said he was sleepy. But Pika was still happy to talk to each other. It's only eight o'clock at night too, Chaby is a pillow face. They're here to have fun.

Finally Chaby just follow along even though his eyes closed once in a while. The girl is now sitting by the pool  . He's been authorized to Decklan.

Chaby put his foot in the water. Maybe that way the sleepiness will disappear. And sure enough, his eyes were round, the pool water was very cold. Is the pool in the mountain all kayak so well? Suddenly, his memory shifted to the past.

The style of sitting on the edge of the pool with legs inserted into the water is like dejavu. No, not dejavu. He did the same thing as a child, while still living with his parents in Seoul.

But those memories are not pleasant memories. Since it used to be in that position, his mother appeared from behind and pushed him into the water. Chaby was silent. He leaned forward and looked into the water. Whether it was reality or just his mind he could no longer think clearly. To be sure in the clear water he saw the shadow of his mother with his characteristic evil gaze, which the old woman used to show him. A hateful look with a terrifying laugh.

Chaby quickly closed his eyes tightly. The shadow when his mother tortured him used to ring back in his head. Chaby tried hard to erase that memory, slowly opening his eyes and looking back at the water, he wanted to see if the evil shadow of his mother was still there or not and the girl gasped when she saw that the shadow was still there.

"GO!" he shouted strongly at the shadow in the water.

Everyone who was engrossed in conversation on the other end looked at him strangely. There's only Chaby in the pool, the others are just down there by the campfire. But because the scream was so strong they all looked at the girl in confusion. There was no one there, so to whom Chaby shouted and told him to leave.

Decklan was picking up something in his tent so didn't know anything. When he came out, he was confused because everyone was looking in the same direction with different expressions.

"Sir Decklan Chaby." muttered Pika turned to her brother who was now standing in front of the tent.

Decklan glanced at Pika at a glance and stared at Chaby there. His eyes widened wide when he saw Chaby continuously leaning his body down once to look like he wanted to go into the water. Jesus, he just left that girl for a second but...

"GO!"

Chaby shouted again. This time though confused Decklan quickly ran up to the girl. He's too worried. Don't let the girl fall into the pool. And, who was he told to go that way? Whose chaby was talking to? Is there something in the pool?

Pika and Andra followed behind. Bara somewhere. That guy might be alone somewhere.

Decklan almost reached the pool but it was too late. Chaby had plunged into the water to make Decklan increase his speed and jump in.

Decklan grabbed Chaby, lifted his body and carried him to the edge of the pool. The bottom of the pool was not deep but the water was very cold.  There were many people gathered around them. Pika quickly gave Bara's jacket he wore earlier to Decklan to wear to Chaby who looked trembling from the cold.

Decklan draped the jacket that Pika loved to Chaby's body. His face looks angry.

"WHAT WERE YOU DOING, HUH? WANT TO JOKE AGAIN? NOT FUNNY!" decklan shouted so worried that he became angry too. His hand gripped Chaby's shoulder tightly.

The others stared at each other. Just this time they saw Decklan so. They knew the angry scream was not entirely angry, the guy was obviously very worried. His eyes cannot lie. Andra who felt bad they watched Decklan and Chaby asked them to leave. I don't want those people to turn around.

"My answer." this time Decklan's voice changed but it was still cold.

"Advertising,"

Decklan turned to Andra. His emotions are still not stable.

"I think there's something wrong with him." Andra muttered as she watched Chaby press his trembling hand and her eyes looked here and there like they were looking for something.

Decklans staring back at Chaby, right. Because of his emotions he did not pay attention to the girl well.

"Chaby," he muttered slowly looking at the girl fixedly. No answer, Chaby didn't hear it. Stunned decklan. He knelt down in front of Chaby and reached out to his face. Decklan wanted to ask but the girl's eyes remained restlessly staring in all directions, as if looking around for something. Decklan then realized that the girl's body was shaking which made her chest hurt too.

"Chaby, what's wrong with you? Tell me the same." his tone was so worried. The man checked on Chaby because the girl did not respond. He put his hand on Chaby's forehead and checked the rest of it. Chaby still didn't make a sound.

Decklan realized the condition of his girl's body wet with clothes. He took Chaby and took him into the tent. Some of their club friends are still stealing their eyes, wanting to know what Chaby really is.

Decklan looked at Chaby who was still not talking at all, they were already in the tent. Right now Chaby was just silent with a blank look. Decklan sighed heavily. He will find her later. The girl needs a change of clothes. His gaze turned to Pika.

"Mr,"

Pika looked at her brother.

"Replace Chaby's shirt, if you're done call me right away."

Pika nodded quickly. Decklan stared at Chaby for a bit, then walked out.

"Where?" Andra who was waiting outside the tent asked as Decklan came out. He saw Decklan shake his head and rub his face rough.

After that, no one spoke between them. A quiet atmosphere with their own minds.

Decklan waited anxiously and his mind was full. He was thinking about what happened until the girl became so strange.

Shit, man,

why did Pika come out so long ago. He could not bear to see and accompany Chaby. At times like this he did not want to leave the girl in the least. Chaby's gonna need him.

Decklan began to pacing back and forth with a huff. Andra's been watching him since. Decklan who is known as a guy who is so calm in maintaining his emotions, today really looks chaotic because of Chaby. Andra knew the girl's influence was so great in Decklan's life. That guy can't be okay if something happens to the girl he loves the most.
