Sharon glanced at her watch. It's almost eight o'clock in the evening. He and the people in this shop have been stuck for more than an hour and a half but the rain has not stopped as well. In fact, the occasional lightning bolt will strike up Sharon reflex must cover the ears in front of the two adult men. Well, he's still with them now. He wondered why they didn't go home. Not knowing what he was he was already very awkward with their existence because he did not know what to discuss.
Sharon was indeed afraid of lightning from childhood. He could not even fall asleep because of the sound that he thought was very disturbing. For a moment he thought, what a torrential rain will not stop and lightning will continue to strike. Oh no, he prayed in his heart that it would not happen. At home, there is no Chaby or Arion. But Sharon finally felt a little relieved because the rain began to show signs of stopping and no longer heard the sound of lightning.
"How are you going to go home? You brought your own vehicle?" the question came out of Galen's mouth while looking at Sharon. He knew Danzel would want to ask the same question but the man seemed to feel prestige. Galen helped him ask. He was surprised by Danzel. It's this old man but approaching a woman only his feet ask for mercy. How can they be close later if his attitude is like this. Galen seems to have a lot to help. He knows very well how Danzel treats the woman who helped Chaby differently.
Sharon raised her face to look at Galen.
"Ah, I'll book a taxi" she replied, not forgetting to smile.
"Taxi? These nights with bad weather like this are not good for women to go home alone. Let Danzel take you." said Galen again. Sharon's eyes widened. Chaby's brother drove her home? Oh naw. He could not imagine how awkward they would be if they were alone in the car. He would rather have a man named Galen drive him than this stiff Danzel. Can he refuse?
"No need, I don't want to be troublesome." Sharon refused subtly.
"Absolutely not a hassle. Moreover, you are the savior of our sister. Where we might let you go home alone. What if Chaby finds out? By his nature he won't talk to us for a week" Galen said, exaggerating. Though he himself knows that Chaby is easily persuaded even though it is bad again. But for the sake of the smooth relationship Danzel and this woman, there is no harm in her acting a little.
Sharon doesn't know what to say anymore. He took a quick glance at Danzel, felt bad and looked back at Galen.
"You're not with us?" the question suddenly came out of Sharon's mouth. Galen smiled faintly then shook his head.
"I brought my own car. After this I also have to go straight home. My mama's condition wasn't very stable so I had to take care of her" she said, giving an excuse. It was Sharon's turn to nod.
No more rain. It seems to have stopped. People started to come out of the store. Galen said goodbye first. Leaving Danzel and Sharon in their awkwardness.
"Huh?" Sharon looked up with her confused face.
"You want to go home, don't you?" Danzel looked at him flatly.
"Ah, yes." Sharon quickly stood up, walking behind Danzel who had walked first while bowing her head. However, he did not realize that Danzel stopped his steps suddenly to the point that his head accidentally hit the man's back. Sharon grimaced in heart. His head ached from the impact with Danzel's hard back. He was a little upset because the man in front of him stopped so suddenly. Danzel stared.
"You blame me? You're the one who doesn't see the road. Where there are people who walk down so. It is obvious that you cannot see the way." Danzel said, then continued her steps again with a faint smile. Very thin. Sharon to the gawk in disbelief. If only he could be angry, he would have yelled in annoyance at the man. Quiet Sharon, calm down. He was upset because he had absolutely no guts to fight back against a Danzel.
On the way, no one spoke. Neither Sharon nor Danzel. Both are silent. Danzel is more focused on driving and Sharon is focused on staring out of the car. I don't know what he's thinking. He doesn't even realize Danzel occasionally steals a look at him. Observing the woman with an illegible face.
"You afraid of lightning?" the question shifted Sharon's gaze. He glanced at Danzel who remained focused forward. Danzel did continue to pay attention to Sharon's movements in the tavern. Sharon was always agitated when she heard the sound of lightning and her body looked tense.
"You're asking me?" Danzel grunting. What stupid question is that? Is there anyone else in the car besides them?
"you reckon? There's no one else here but the two of us. Unless I can see a ghost, I'm definitely talking to a ghost who might be sitting next to you" she said. He became funny when Sharon immediately put on her scared face while looking in all directions. Then finally the pretty face turned irritated looking at her. Danzel could clearly see Sharon's expression from the corner of her eye.
"You haven't answered my question" he said again in a flat voice. But suddenly the car that was driven stopped suddenly and simultaneously heard the sound of lightning that was so strong then rain fell with a rush. It was faster than when they were in the store.
Out of shock and fear, Sharon involuntarily hugged Danzel firmly. Hiding his head in the chest of the man's field. Until the man who hugged him was surprised not playing due to Sharon's embrace. Danzel could even feel Sharon's trembling body. That woman must have been very scared. Danzel subconsciously accepted the hug, giving Sharon a sense of security while rubbing the woman's head as she always did to Chaby just then, but with a different feeling. Danzel knew clearly what kind of feeling it was. Because his heart started beating. Sharon was the first foreign woman to be this close to her, and that managed to make her heart flutter.
