S2, Chapter 25

Sharon looked at the rain that had fallen since an hour ago through the living room window. He was already at his house. There's that guy too, Chaby's brother. His face was met red when he remembered him suddenly hugging Danzel in the man's car. God, what's he doing? Stupid jerk. He was so embarrassed to imagine that. Especially considering Danzel returned her embrace. He knew the man would just want to make him feel safe, but it had instead managed to make his heart beat. Sharon shook her head strongly, dispelling those ridiculous thoughts.

The woman sighed. Then look at the wall clock. How much longer is it gonna take? How long will the rain stop? Indeed lightning and thunder were not heard anymore, but because the rain did not stop as well, Chaby's brother did not return home. It feels awkward with that guy. Already stiff, rarely spoke, Sharon also did not know what to discuss with the man.

His eyes occasionally look into the kitchen. He was too weak because of his fear. Even Danzel had to lead him into the house. The man immediately asked the kitchen when he arrived at the living room. Sharon did not understand why Danzel asked her where the kitchen was. But a few moments later he understood what the man was doing in his kitchen. He sees Danzel returning to the living room with a cup of hot tea for him. The man sat beside Sharon and observed the girl sipping her tea quietly. Danzel noticed that Sharon's hand was not shaking as much as it was in the car. He clearly remembered Sharon's face that was so frightened by the sound of lightning.

Frankly Danzel was curious. What makes Sharon afraid of lightning? He wanted to ask but his sense of prestige filled him again.

"Thank you." Sharon murmured softly. Danzel continued to stare at the girl while holding her chest.

"The tea is good." praised Sharon and then smiled faintly. He doesn't know what else to say.

"You live alone?" the man spoke up.

"I used to live with Chaby and Arion." he said. He felt sad in his heart. I am so sorry for him who lives alone again now. When his parents died, he lived together with his younger brother Aya. When Aya died of illness the girl lived alone in the house. But some know he accidentally found Chaby. Sharon then lives with the girl with her son. Now, after Chaby finds his biological family, he returns to being a kara again.

"Where are your parents?" ask Danzel again.

"It's dead." Sharon replied directly. He was used to being asked about the whereabouts of his parents so he felt ordinary. But the answer was that it definitely made Danzel feel bad.

"Sorry," muttered Danzel. Sharon shook her head then smiled faintly, as if saying it was okay. A moment later the two fell silent with their respective minds.

"Tell me about your life." The words made Sharon turn to Danzel. Maybe the man was bored because they just kept quiet.

"Me?"

Danzel raised her eyebrows. Obviously his expression said that there was someone else here. Sharon wanted to laugh but was desperately held back. Jesus, this time he's dealing with Danzel's polar ice caps. His nature was inversely proportional to one hundred and eighty degrees to his sister.

"You, whatever it is."

"My name is Sharon Isabel Princess. Twenty-nine years old, born twenty-two March, hobby of caring for flowers, weight forty-seven kg, height.."

"Stop! Do you think you're doing a job interview?"

Sharon fell silent and smiled clumsyly, then looked at Danzel again. The man looked at her, making the two look at each other. Danzel just realized Sharon has beautiful brownish eyeballs.

"I told you to tell me about your life, not your bio. Youunderstand?" said Danzel again. Sharon sighed.

"What's the point of you knowing about my life? I don't think we're so familiar that we have to talk about personal life. My life is ordinary anyway. Nothing interesting." replied the woman at length.

Danzel looked at Sharon with a strange look that was hard to decipher.

"You're wrong. I need to know about your life, I want to know what kind of woman saved my sister. After that, I can think of how to repay your bud. Even if you want to marry me it's okay. I can replace Chaby to stay with you. Count to keep you from being alone" Danzel said flatly but successfully made Sharon me gawk in disbelief.

"HUH??" Sharon was suddenly shocked. Whahuh? Married to this stiff? Staying with? Oh my God, what madness is this?

"J.don't mess with your words. We don't know each other very well either, how can you marry someone you just met?" Sharon spray. Danzel chuckles. He did not expect the expression of the woman to be like this. He just said it. Although he was astonished by himself who suddenly said like that without thinking first.

The man then stood up.

"Don't think too much, I'm just kidding. I'd better just leave because the rain has stopped." he said then moved out of the minimalist house after grabbing his car keys from the table. Leaving Sharon still in shock at her place. Minted. He grunted annoyed. A marriage can be made into a joke by the man. Chaby's brother is a real bitch.
