SPOILED GIRL AND COLD PRINCE

SPOILED GIRL AND COLD PRINCE
The S2 Chapter 2

Decklan was sitting alone in a corner of a French restaurant where he and Chaby last ate together before the girl disappeared in a car accident.

The man nodded heavily. There's no spirit. His face was always gloomy when he stopped by this restaurant. He misses his wife very much. He believes Chaby is still alive. To hell with the police who concluded his wife was pronounced dead in the accident. He would never accept the fact that his wife was dead. Because only then can he continue his life. The man swore he'd find Chaby. His hand pulled out the wallet from his pants pocket.

"Where are you, baby?" he muttered softly as he looked and rubbed a picture of Chaby in his wallet. He always looked at the photo every day without missing a day, channeling all his longing to the wife he had been waiting for all these years. Decklan then raised his head and stared out.

The weather this afternoon is not very supportive. It has been raining heavily since. I think he's gonna have to cancel some meetings this afternoon.

The rain was clearly visible from behind the glass. A moment later the wine in his message had come and the waiter poured it for him to enjoy.

When Decklan looked straight ahead, his eyes caught something. The figure of the girl sitting behind him at the other table in front of him suddenly stole his attention. The girl looked like Chaby from behind. Without hesitation the man stood up, preparing to step onto the table. So quickly the man walked, he hit the table he passed and dropped the cutlery on the table.

A few eyes within the restaurant glanced at him. One of the women sitting at the table was already preparing to get angry but did not so when he saw Decklan's face. Highlight the eyes of the man is cold and very piercing but can make many women interested.

"Sir, are you okay?" ask the blonde girl. Decklan ignored him. His eyes continued to search for the whereabouts of the girl who had turned her back earlier but no longer existed. Shit, he lost that girl.

"Master?" the blonde girl said again. Two fellow women sitting next to him were whispering with excitement. They say Decklan is like a celebrity. Unfortunately, the man did not seem to care at all.

"Advertising,"

Decklan turned towards the call. Andra was standing right there. He could see the confused look of his best friend but did not intend to explain. The man returned to his desk after asking a servant to clean up the fragments.

Andra who was still dumbfounded just followed Decklan's steps from behind. He draped his slightly wet suit in the rain onto the back of the chair and sat down, looking straight at Decklan.

Since Chaby's disappearance, Decklan has never smiled again. His face was always cold and sometimes looked like an undead so rarely did his best friend speak.

Decklan also rarely gathered with himself, Bara and Pika as when there was still Chaby first. Hardly ever even. Now the man is spending more time working, calling all of his men who are looking for Chaby to just ask about the progress of their search. Lastly, the man had always been silent in a corner of his room lamenting his sadness at losing Chaby.

It's been six years. Andra admits she misses the girl too. They're all just like Decklan who still believes that Chaby is alive.

"Why you? You don't seem happy." asked Andra later. He saw Decklan occasionally gulp down the wine poured by the waiter.

"I saw a girl who looked like Chaby."

Andra breathed out slowly. I don't know how many times Decklan said that.

"You know it's just your illusion sa.." Andra's words suddenly stopped. His gaze stared straight ahead and accidentally saw a girl so similar to Chaby standing behind the glass wall of the restaurant. The girl looked a little more mature than the old Chaby, but her face was indeed very similar to Chaby's. Like a betel in two. So surprised Andra could not even say anything, his lips were twisted. He kept looking ahead.

Decklan who initially did not care a bit about the words of Andra, raised his face to look at the man. Andra's expression was like seeing a ghost. He also hung his words.

"You why?" ask Decklan later because he was confused.

"A.c...Cha..Chaby." Andra painstakingly passed that one name out of her mouth. The name that can make the whole body Decklan hot cold and his heart beat is not bad.

Decklan turned his body slowly. He knew all this time he kept hallucinating seeing someone similar to his wife. But this time it was not her who said, Andra himself who uttered the name Chaby from his mouth. Decklan really hoped Andra's words were true. He was almost crazy because of the loss of his wife, even the first years Chaby disappeared Decklan was treated in the hospital because of mental illness he suffered.

Decklan's eyes rounded when he saw the girl who looked like Chaby was standing there. No, it's not just similar, it's Chaby. He knows his wife very well. The feeling of pleasure mixed should envelop the heart of Decklan.

The man turned nervous and immediately stood up from the chair. He ran as fast as he could when a car stopped in front of Chaby and the girl got into the car.

Andra ran from behind Decklan. People just stared at them in astonishment. This time it was not just an illusion. They really saw Chaby. By the time they reached where Chaby was standing, the car the girl was riding in had already darted away from the place.

"ARGHH!"

Decklan shouted loudly while ruffling his hair in frustration. He felt no longer energetic. My God, Chabynya... He wanted to turn to his car in the parking lot to chase after Chaby, but the car Chaby was riding in was somehow so quickly disappeared from before him. Makes it more frustrating.

Andra next to him adjusted her breath and then held onto the man's shoulder.

"Decks, calm yourself. Didn't we see Chaby? We can find him later. There are many cctv systems in this location. I'm sure we can find it." said Andra trying to calm Decklan who looks very upset. Decklan. He was a little comforted to hear the words of Andra.

It's just that something's stuck in his mind. If his wife was still alive and living not far from them, why would Chaby never come to him and his family?

For a moment Decklan felt doubtful, but that does not mean he will stop finding out the whereabouts of Chaby. He was sure what he saw was Chaby. And he made sure he would find his wife and ask for an explanation.
