S2, Chapter 57

When Chaby opened his eyes, he was still in the same room. Well, the nursery where he and Decklan were doing their hot activities all night. Chaby felt stuffy and wanted to take a shower. His eyes looked around the room.

Where's Brother Decklan? Her husband is invisible. There was no other clothes to take a shower. Their suitcases weren't here yesterday. Maybe it's downstairs back home. His gaze stopped to the female doctor who appeared from the doorway. Maybe it's his care doctor. Because the woman's doctor came to check on her. He said he was healthy and could go home. But because the doctor's attitude was friendly, Chaby tried to be patient as long as the doctor checked his condition.

"How, do you still feel nauseous?" ask doctor Nanda is friendly. Chaby shakes. It has improved a lot more than yesterday. Even feel very healthy.

"Can I return the doc?" Chaby asked back. Doctor Nanda smiled faintly before finally nodding his head.

"But because you are pregnant, I advise you to come here often to check the condition of the baby in your stomach. You also have to rest more, avoid heavy work and diligently eat nutritious foods. It's good for the child in your womb." said doctor Nanda again. Chaby just nodded. His eyes returned to the door of the room. I wish her husband would come out the door. Unfortunately nil. Decklan does not appear as well. Actually, her husband went this early in the morning. Don't know if he's upset and wants to go home as soon as possible.

"Dok, the doctor knows my husband, right?" he finally decided to ask. Surely the doctor in front of him knows who Decklan's sister is. There is no harm in asking. His phone wasn't with him anywhere either, so he couldn't call at all.

"of course. You're the wife of his son, the head of the hospital. All the staff at the hospital know you. You know, a lot of women who work in this hospital are jealous of you" said Nanda trying to take the opportunity to be familiar with Chaby. Chaby's forehead was raised because the doctor suddenly spoke familiarly. She had indeed heard from Pika that many women were trying to approach her husband as long as he was not around. But she believed in her husband. The proof, even though he was lost for years, Decklan remained faithful waiting for him. And, if they were jealous of the same status as his wife a Declan, he was even more pleased.

The thing is now, Chaby wants to take a shower and go home. He prefers to be at home, does not like to linger here. So she needs to know where her husband is.

"Doctors know where my husband is?" ask Chaby again.

"Doctor Decklan has an operating schedule now. He also said he told you that he had contacted his sister to look after you for as long as he had the surgery." explained Nanda. Then the door of the room opened. Featuring a tall man who looks like Decklan but is ten years younger. That's Gatan, Decklan's younger brother. And Chaby's sister-in-law of course.

"For Chaby's sake." exclaimed Gatan walking towards Chaby with a big smile. His hand held a medium bag and fresh fruits.

Doctor Nanda finally decided to get out of there. Actually he still wanted to linger to scrape news of the man he saw yesterday from Chaby. But he felt bad when he heard others. He also has other patients to see. I don't want him to have to go.

"I'm off today." said Gatan while arranging the fresh fruits below him on the bedside table.

"Mama Anterin Arion to school. Brother Pika works. Bang Danzel is busy too. Today I did not say anything. Bang Decklan said his operating schedule this morning could not be shifted at all, so he asked me to help him make it during his surgery. Oh yeah, I brought toiletries with my sister's clothes." Gath continued. Chaby nodded in understanding.

"Isn't Arion the same as Danzel?" he remembered yesterday his son was under go by his brother and sister Sharon.

"Yes. I was picked up by my mom this morning. He said let mama go to school."

Chaby nodded his head again. He then took the bag containing his clothes that were under by Gatan and went to the bathroom. He could no longer bear the body smell.

"Gatan wait a moment. Brother shower first." said Chaby who got the nod by the sister-in-law. Gatan himself immediately slept in bed while playing games on his phone.

After bathing and changing clothes, Chaby felt his body was fresh. Not as stuffy as before. He came out of the bathroom but did not see his sister-in-law. But there's a note on the table. Chaby took it and read it. There Gatan wrote out for a while looking for breakfast for the girl. Chaby smiled thinly. He felt happy because all members of the Decklan family treated him as a biological family. He did not feel awkward with them at all.

Because the wait was long enough and the Gatan had yet to show up as well, Chaby decided to go out for a walk. The location of the nursery is indeed different from the usual nursery. He did not know what floor this was, but it was a bit quiet unlike the one downstairs. Maybe because this area is more special. But he felt creepy if he just walked alone in the alley of the floor.

The girl walked up the stairs. Look around and stand there for a while biting at the apple underneath from the room. Chaby stood facing the stairs. Then in an instant he felt his body drifting due to the violent thrust from behind and falling tumbling down the stairs. The last thing he heard before fainting was the loud cry of someone calling his name.
