CHAPTER 49

"It's been a long time, Nam Sarang."

Chaby remembered that voice once. He closed his eyes and tried to catch his breath. His mood deteriorated. His hands started shaking and his knees were limp but he kept trying hard.

The girl turned slowly looking straight ahead. Hunch's right. An old woman who always blamed and tortured him first was standing in front of him with a sinister smile that looked scary.

"O.o..Omma." he said staring straight ahead with his breath choked. The old woman in front of him continued to smile cynically and then stepped closer. The woman could feel the tension of the girl in front of her and she was happy.

Pika who was standing next to Chaby did not understand the foreign language, but the words that came out of Chaby's mouth he clearly knew the meaning. She is not a Korean drama lover like most teenagers, but one word is no stranger to her ears.

The old woman must be Chaby's mom who was told the same about Galen. He could see the big change of his best friend. His face looked very frightened.

"Because I experienced the pain of giving birth to you, shouldn't you feel the same way?"

Chaby reflexively retreated as the woman advanced closer. He must be strong. He must fight his fear. At least he has to survive. It was enough all this time that he suffered because of his mother. Her life was happy now and her trauma was gone but the woman came instead.

"Come with me. You don't deserve to be here. We both have to share the pain, right?"

The woman suddenly pulled Chaby's hand roughly. Force him to follow her. Chaby refused hard. He pushed the woman and tried to run away but the woman clutched her hand so firmly. Chaby's strength could not compare to him.

Pika who had only seen from a distance immediately ran fast when she saw Chaby being forced to pull by the woman. He helped the girl escape from the woman's grip. According to Pika the old woman was already insane. His obsession with hurting his own biological child was enormous. Weird guy. Psychopath. Better to go to a mental hospital.

"What are you doing, let go of my friend!" pika's shout helped Chaby break away from the woman but the woman was very strong. Pika to the point of feeling overwhelmed but still not willing to give up.

It's still a learning hour. There was no one else on the street, only them. The security guard is too far in there, and the cars are milling about on the road. There was no one else he could ask for help. Yelling is useless. He started to feel nervous.

That instant also the girl's body soared into the air and crashed violently into the street. Chaby was shocked and immediately shocked. Pika had a chance to look at him before finally her eyes closed unconscious. Fresh blood came out of his body. The car that hit him stopped suddenly.

There was a loud scream of a man from the other end. The man ran quickly into the street with a panicked face, ignoring the other cars passing by.
