I'm not going to die.
I managed to swim all the way to the mainland–my breath was wheezing. I don't know what creatures have nibbled on my feet while swimming. I checked my legs, thankfully they were both intact, there were only small incision wounds like cat scratches and it was painful.
I walked to the house, on the porch where Fredic, along with Alicia, Arka, and Justin, was having a tea party. They looked so happy while I was suffering, I mean swimming in a lake full of predators is not a pleasant thing. You could say it was very torturous.
Fredic smiled broadly when he saw me alive. "Wow, I thought you were going to drown, but thankfully you survived."
I really want to punch that shitty Fredic in the face. But I'm afraid he'll throw me back into the lake and maybe throw me further.
My body shivered as a gust of wind swept through my body. My feet are also numb. I sighed as I arrived at the terrace of the house. Warm tea on that wooden table, I really want to drink it.
"Sit, Killa. Take a break" said Fredic.
At the round table there was only one seat between Alicia and Justin. Damnit damnit! why stay with Justin. I also sat in the chair carefully. Justin glanced at me sharply, I saw that, but I'll act ordinary. I don't want to have any problems with him.
"Alicia, pour some tea for Killa," Fredic ordered.
Alicia nodded, then grabbed a white ceramic teapot with a floral pattern. She poured gracefully into the empty glass before handing it to me.
"Drink, tea is very good to drink when it's cold" Fredic said.
I'm nodding. I also drank the tea, and sure enough, my body was warm, I was no longer cold. To be honest I do not like tea, but the exception to this one. This tea tastes like warm chocolate mixed with honey. I'm pretty sure what I'm drinking is tea.
"How does it feel, Killa? yummy?" ask Arka. His face was shining like he was waiting for my answer.
I'm nodding. "Very good" I said briefly. Shamelessly I immediately finished this tea in one gulp.
All eyes looked at me.
Fredic sighed. "I hope you'll be fine" said Fredic, "Alright, let's continue your training, Killa. For the training this time I leave everything to the three of them. The next rehearsal should be a very easy one for you, Killa."
Alicia, Arka, and Justin all stood up. Their glass is still full, on the table only my glass is empty. That tea is so good.. Waitaminute! is there poison in that tea!
"Come on, Killa, follow us" said Arka.
Sure enough, I just sat for a few minutes and my clothes were still wet as well. Regardless of whether the tea is poisonous or not, but let me rest longer.
"Wait what else?" said Fredic.
I cringed before I stood up. Yeah well, I don't think I have a choice. I finally followed the three of them, walking towards the forest.
I'm guessing what kind of exercise I'm going to do. Is it gonna sort of lift a load or something. But that question was not answered. We keep walking more and more into the forest–without any conversation.
Several times I asked Arka, "Where are we going?"
But Arka simply replied, "Wait and see."
We kept walking, getting into the forest. The wild grasses began to look, large bushes also began to spread everywhere. The ground is getting muddy, and the air is getting humid–the place is getting creepy.
We walked for half an hour into the forest. My body was getting shivering, the air around was getting colder. Trees are getting bigger in size–the roots protrude out of the land–which is filled with moss. Plants begin to grow in size, though, a while ago I saw a mushroom with a stem that was the size of my body with a mushroom hood about two meters in diameter–that would be more than enough to shelter from the rain.
The fog started to appear. I don't know where this is going, and it's useless if I ask, the three of them won't answer.
Until my feet could no longer move, we stopped. Still in the forest plus the fog had completely blocked the view.
"The exercise this time is actually simple," Arka looked at me, "Killa, you should head back to the Green Grass Housing. The three of us will leave you here."
"W-what! you guys aren't serious, are you? There's no way I can go back alone, even I've forgotten the route we just took."
Arka sighed. "But that's his decision. Fredic decided."
Alicia walked towards me. She smiles. "I'm sure you'll be able to do it. Use your instincts, then you'll find your way home."
Arka and Alicia looked at Justin. Justin sighed before looking at me. "Don't die" he said.
"See you, Killa," said Arka.
Suddenly the wind blew, the air circled around and the dust flew, I protected my face with my hands. I didn't get to see him before the three of them suddenly disappeared.
There was no answer, only the howling of wolves from a distance. I ran in panic while recalling the route I had been on.
"Through here!" My instincts say so. I ran like I was being chased by a psychopath before I was tripped by a tree root protruding from the ground. My knee hit the ground perfectly, it made me limp.
The fog completely blocked my view. I felt the trees getting closer to each other, as if they were trying to squeeze me.
As I walked I saw the bushes moving. My heart is beating fast. I tried to run away from the bushes, but my legs were completely limp. My breath was hunting, I kept walking while looking straight ahead. I'm so scared.
Up ahead was a road blocked by the roots of a huge tree. I paused while looking around, hoping to find a way.
My eyes widened as I saw the roots of the trees in front moving. Like a snake, the roots stem the road that allows me to pass. Like this, I had no choice but to turn around.
I'm sure the bushes I just passed were a pack of wolves that wanted to prey on me. When I was in a panic, a small animal suddenly appeared from behind the fog, white-haired, cute and adorable, was jumping up and down towards me. The animal ... is harmless.
"How can a rabbit be in a forest like this." I crouched down to greet the white rabbit.
The rabbit stopped a few steps in front of me, sniffing, before jumping back at me. However, suddenly the rabbit's eyes turned blood red and lit up. I jerked.
The rabbit's jump was getting louder, then suddenly the rabbit lunged towards me. I managed to dodge by jumping to the side.
The rabbit is no longer cute and adorable. The rabbit squeaked with a loud voice. I immediately ran, I felt a bad feeling with the rabbit.
My breaths wheezing. In the distance I saw the roots of a tree that formed a small cave hole. I decided to hide there, while replenishing my energy. Before I actually enter it I check it first–fear if there are monsters or the like. Once in a sense of security, then I go inside by crawling– because the size is small.
Inside is not too broad, it might be enough for two people of body size like me. I leaned against the roots of the tree while hugging my knees. I stared outside where the fog was still there. My body shook with the cold, I don't know if I can get out of this forest.
I did not dare to get out of this small cave, I was so afraid to go out. Until I heard the sound of footsteps approaching towards the cave. I flinched, I hurriedly came out from within this small cave. I'm sure they came to save me.
I crawled out. From a distance of several meters in front I saw the silhouette of people. "Here," I said.
Until the silhouette came out of the fog, revealing a burly old man and his gray hair and beard. His stern face looked at me sharply, his clothes all black –tight–featuring his mighty body shape.
My eyes wide. The old man walked over towards me with long strides, as if he did not want to let me run.
"Who are you! What are you doing here" said the old man. His aura was very domineering.
"I-I'm just practicing," I said raucously.
The old man looked at me from top to bottom, before clutching my collar. "Tell me the truth!" His eyes glared sharply.
"I-I'm really telling you the truth."
The man sighed. "If you don't want to say it ... I'll make a talk." He threw me to the ground, I fell to the ground hard–why lately people like to throw me huh!
"Self boy!" firmly the man.
I stood up with difficulty. Surely the old man did not come to save me, but why did he suddenly attack me?
I have no other choice ... I ... must escape! I immediately turned around and ran with all my might, the old man just stayed there. I continued to thrust into the fog, turning in an indeterminate direction. What matters is that I survived first.
Suddenly, the old man appeared before me. How could?
"What do you want old man!" I said.
The old man laughed. "What do I want? hahaha, I think I want to kill you."
I swallowed hearing that statement. My body immediately shook. Blurred? I think it'll be free. So, I decided on one thing, which was to fight the old man. I scooped up the ground and directly threw it at the old man.
It managed to get him distracted for a while. Then, I immediately ran to kick****** the man.
My kick was easily held in one hand, and the man said. "Just this is what you're capable of?"
I clenched my right hand. First I let go of my feet held by the man. After that I used the same trick as before– scooped the ground– then threw it. While the man's gaze was distracted I immediately circled his body to hit him from behind.
But again, my attack failed. The old man reflexed quickly, he immediately took a clockwise round kick and it was perfect on me. I was thrown far back.
My chest felt very tight to receive the kick, my breathing was wheezing. I was already unable to stand, my body was slow, my head was twitching before I finally fell unconscious.
